Fed serving for the set at 5-3

in other news, Tsonga leads 6-5 in 4th set and if he can repeat what he did in the last 2 set, he wins. break Novak for the set!
SportsRe: Official French Open ( Rolland Garros ) 2012 Thread by coolguyz(m): 6:00pm On Jun 05, 2012
this 5th set will unsettle Del Potro, can he get out of the mind game? Fed trying not to lose the momentum and surely taking advantage of Del Potro's concentration breaks. . . .guess he's still cursing himself for losing the 3rd set
SportsRe: Official French Open ( Rolland Garros ) 2012 Thread by coolguyz(m): 5:39pm On Jun 05, 2012
Tsonga broke Novak twice at the death avoiding a tie break and leads 2sets to 1 after losing 1st set 1-6 only to take the next two games 7-5, 7-5.

He's been playing some amazing tennis and trying to play mental game wt Novak that he can go the length
SportsRe: Official French Open ( Rolland Garros ) 2012 Thread by coolguyz(m): 5:01pm On Jun 05, 2012
Fed goes down to Del Potro on a tie break to lose the 2nd set 6-7. 3rd set in progress.

Amazing tennis between Novak and Tsonga. . . . .3rd set still in progress and both players have both broken each other's serve in this set.
SportsRe: Official French Open ( Rolland Garros ) 2012 Thread by coolguyz(m): 4:19pm On Jun 05, 2012
a set apiece for Novak and Tsonga, 1-6, 5-7. . . . .3rd set in progress!

in other news, Fed is a set down 3-6 against Del Potro. Not looking too good as Del Potro is playing very well. Got broken in the second set and broke Fed back immediately. scores at 3-4 with Fed serving!
BusinessRe: First Bank Nigeria Holding Company: Formerly First Bank Group by coolguyz(m): 6:29pm On Jun 01, 2012
soo surprised at display of dumbness by some people. how has this got to do with GEJ or name changing?

A policy that has been in place long before now. Well, for your uninformed knowledge, some other banks are towing this line and more of the 'XYZ' holding company stuff would surface more.

Does it change anything? Yes, but limited to the structure. banks will no longer have direct investments in non-banking ventures. its a further unbundling of non-related activities from the bank's operations. If you want to own other business, let another company to which the bank will be a subsidiary to hold them.

Does it affect deposits? NO!

Does it change name of the bank? NO! the bank still remains, just that it would be under a holding company that also holds the investment in other related subsidiaries of the enlarged group.

murtalaa: who are these moderators for god's sake? other more important topics are begging to be on the frontpage, please. There is a thread for NNPC/DPR job seekers whose recruitment hangs on the balance despite being kept on edge for two years. Such are the kind of topics you expect to see on the frontpage not this kind of trash posted by whiteman wannabes. Who gives a shiit about french open this side of the globe.
u rily dont need to display your negative reasoning level on a public forum. how does people following a tennis grand slam affect NNPC job seekers? When Euro championships starts also, you may take a leave off the forum to protest why it's be on front page as well instead of FirstBank recruitment.

Andy Murray is unreliable just as every other average British sportsmen. He is down 1-4 in the 1st set to 48th ranked Jarkko Nieminen. Expect him to make a statement, he just starts playing below par.

very good news to all Kopites. lets put sentiments aside. . . . . .next is to ship out our expensive overrated average players starting with Henderson, Downing, Adam, carrol. . . . .and the youngsters that never grew up. . . .Spearing, Shelvey and co

Next question to the Boston owners - who do we have in mind to hire?

and there goes another record broken by Messi. . . . .68goals (new european record for most goals in a single season - beats 67 goals by Muller) and still counting with about 3 matches to still feature in and the pichichi still looking like his for this season.

What other European record eludes this guy?

12:51 BST BREAKING NEWS: Tito Vilanova to replace Guardiola at the end of the season

not a bad choice. . . . . .guess for continuity and not unsettle the new boys!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by coolguyz(m): 12:50pm On Apr 27, 2012
12:46 BST Here's Sandro Rossell's comments on Guardiola in full:

"Pep Guardiola will not continue after the end of this season at Barcelona. The maturity of this decision and how we announce this decision has to be the basis of the future of the club. Thank you very much for everything you have added to the club. Thank you for having perfected one of the styles well- renowned in world football. Our style will never ever be questioned and we will continue this style. He's done it in a very valid way following the values of Bracelona, those that define the club. Thank you for all the work and your love. The things he has done will be eternal for the best coach in the history of the club."
12:44 BST Guardiola admits that he made the decision to quit in December, but did not want to go public until now - only the chairman was told.
12:41 BST Rossell has begun the proceedings, thanking Guardiola for his work as "the best coach in the history of the club."

and the curtain draws down on an episode!

Just say its all the figment of media and you're renewing !!! plsssssss!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by coolguyz(m): 8:09pm On Apr 26, 2012
From all indications i think its an end of an era and a new dawn from next season. . . . . .Bielsa's name seems to be dropping more as its strongly believed that Pep would be stepping down to take a sabbatical leave and the club have respected his decision thus the press conference tomorrow rather than wait till Sunday being the deadline date to make up his mind.

we just hope this ends up being grapevine as 1 more season of Pep would leave Barca stronger for any manager taking over if you consider the youth players he just promoted and belief he has instilled in the players even if titles don't come their way!

i just only pray and wish. . . . .

so. . . . .2 leagues decided. . . .EPL and bundesliga. . . .on to the other leagues that still have small fights

Juve still playing a draw with lazio . . . .AC milan will be praying on their mats seriously!

and madrid to take on athletico in a derby . . . .soothsayers hoping for a break of the jinx tonite

football is interesting jooor!

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by coolguyz(m): 8:57pm On Apr 10, 2012
i think 70minutes of play is enough for messi tonite. . . . but after he bags his hatrick sha. . . just 2 more goals and he should effing go rest those legs! grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by coolguyz(m): 8:51pm On Apr 10, 2012
i still believe it would be in the club's interest to rest messi. . . .a rested messi is lethal in the next game. i want him to win the european boot, break the 67goals record and claim the pichichi but not at expense of convincing wins. imagine messi rested tonite, saturday's game would be a warmer for chelsea CL match and you can bet his form would be explosive.

Anyways, as pep has said. . . .'would only rest him if he wish so'

athletico & bilbao may be tricky with chance of european football as motivation. athletico needs points to stay in touch just after losing to levante.

the outstanding fixture are surely winnable by RM but your players will need be at their best not just football ise but character and mental wise. . . .can they? that the question!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by coolguyz(m): 10:35pm On Apr 08, 2012

thats humor at its peak . . . .what happens by April 22, you'll be dislodging MR TWO?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Real Madrid Vs Valencia (0 - 0) On 8th April,2012 by coolguyz(m): 10:29pm On Apr 08, 2012
another 2 points dropped. . . .lots of blames to be shared. RM lucky not to have even lost.

trip to athlectico is another banana peel. . . . .do i smell the pressure on these lads shoulders?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by coolguyz(m): 10:27pm On Apr 08, 2012
and the faint hope is rekindled. . . . are we gonna have another man city replica in spain?

barca is now grinding out result without being at their spectacular best.

10points to 8points then 6points now 4points . . . .athletico madrid is next - u never can bet on derbies especially with athletic losing to levante earlier today, that'l be another banana peel.

forza barca!

i need ask wat Mou rily has against Kaka. . . .he's almost back to his old self and works for the team in my opinion. got substituted in last game and 2points drop. . . .doesnt play villareal and another 2points dropped.

maybe its my personal fondness for him sha but i think he was needed in that match and higuain to me would have made a better impact. . . .i still rate him higher sha to benzema!

well, who am i sef? Mou is the boss here. . . lipsrsealed
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by coolguyz(m): 6:34am On Mar 22, 2012
6 points is still no joke and doesnt mean the liga would be won definitely. . . .RM still in the drivers seat but surely, the next few games will show what character the galacticos are made of. can they stand the heat? its just a matter of 10 more games. . . .a slip and i doubt if Barca will make same mistake the 3rg time.

i say its game on. . . .it makes the last lap more interesting.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: The Galacticos (Real Madrid Fans Only) by coolguyz(m): 6:30am On Mar 22, 2012
@usb

dont get out of character now. . . .stay your objective self

what was daylight robbery yesterday? the ref's handling of the match was no where average sef in my opinion but it was to both sides. he had awarded softer free kick calls to madrid and villareal's freekick for the goal wasnt that a soft call (which is also not a guarantee for a goal). i'm sure you didnt miss that. and was the reaction of the RM bench encroaching onto the field cool? or was ramos second card not bookable? its footie not taekwando.

officiating was poor and in my opinion, RM got the most of the favourable calls. . . .watch the 1st half over again with less sentiments!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by coolguyz(m): 12:08am On Mar 22, 2012
RM showed they are feeling the pressure and have tendency to self implode. . . .another 1 all draw characterised by indiscipline immediately villareal equalised. . . from a free-kick too just as malaga did.

Mou needs to improve his man management and learn to put up a more sportsman like posture. his attitude today was petty and ramos had no reason to complain the second yellow card. . . .as for ozil, i still wonder how he got corrupted at RM. . . .as for the subs encroaching on the field. . . common tout behaviour. . .who's to blame - Mourinho!

a lacklustre madrid display and sure ddnt complain when officiating was obviously bias against villareal oooooo.

anyways, la liga ma fi dun si ni jare. . . .6points. . . game on!
