Lagos-Ibadan road is a Federal road. I doubt if the states have what it takes to dabble into it right now. The FG will not even allow it especially that the project has been awarded already.

I know it's a federal road but it is of such critical importance that it cannot be neglected......let the states approach the Feds and get a reimbursement afterwards - is my point.

The current farmland is getting old, the cocoa trees are not bearing much fruits like it used to, we are yet to discover how to reenergize the dying trees.

The burden of acquiring a new farm and the associated task and waiting time of between 3-4 years to start reaping the fruits of labor.

Unavailability of laborers in the town to help with the weeding and other farm work etc.,

Attracting farmland labour should not be a problem provided the capital to employ them is there...I know for a fact that this government plans on focusing on agriculture in a big way and continue on the gains made by the previous minister.

With regards to the aging of the farm, have you consider the use of fertilizers to replenish the weak soil...Just asking ...no harm intended. There are soft loans which can be obtainable to re-energise your farm.

During the last elections, Radio and TV stations in the North play jihad songs while making anti-GEJ campaigns, say all sorts of things in Hausa, no newspaper headline asked for them to be banned. Of course you people call it politics.

Cocoa farming in Ondo State needs revitalization and Govt. intervention, I have cocoa plantation in Kajola Ojurin, in Odigbo LGA of Ondo State, believe me, the farm is not doing very well like it used to in years past.

Most farmers are now converting to some cash crops like cashew etc...

It therefore follows that this government cannot be allowed to undermine its popular mandate by neglecting this major factor.

His supporters must be rounded up for disturbing public peace, propagating violence and treasonable offences. They should be tried according to our legal system and punishment adequately handed out ....some of these offences deserve the death sentence.
The president must be made to realise that it was the inaction of the previous government that led to Boko Haram today growing into the monster it has become.

A stitch in time as they say saves nine. Kanu must face the death penalty for crimes against the state otherwise....Nigeria becomes a joke and others will take advantage.
