Nice thread bro, FUTA does not joke with credibility, discipline. I remember when I had to sleep in Physics department at the library in Oba kekere just to stay in line with my 2:2 CGPA. I thank God I made it out safely. I rep Industrial Chemistry dept. and 2011 class. GREATEST GBAGBA, GREATEST GBOGBO, GREATEST GBAGBAGBOGBO. Those slangs like iwe nle mi o.
If you stayed in Akindeko boys hostel during ur PD programme, like this and if you hate how scanty girls are during any show at FUTA stadium. Share it.

[quote author=wapu post=43835487]My best friend was always complaining to me about how her husband cheats with disregard.

At a point she had to leave the house for him but nothing changed.

After a while I noticed she no longer complained and seemed happier.
I asked her how far?
What happened?

She told me she just saw a movie and is practicing what she learnt from the movie and everything is better now.
The name of the movie is WAR ROOM.

It's a Christian movie. I'll advice you to see it too.[/quoteReally! Thats so lovely ma.I will try and look for d film and watch it.Thanks alot.

He has been a flirt even before you got married, nothing will change that except more patience and prayer from your end, maybe fasting once in a while things will change. Distance relationship is not easy , as a family you should try at all cost to live together.
Also try new things with him , no wat excite him . You could get some porn film and learn new styles lol . Some men like to taste different soup .
Hmm thanks but I never knew him as a cheat when we were dating infact he was always monitoring me up n down.About d new styles hmm lets just say hes a chronic cheat because all these improvements are not new to me any longer.Hes always tired on bed at most 5mins.

Trust me, ma, u are not alone in this. I have an elder sister whose husband is an expert flirt. I went to visit them one weekend and slept over. The fact that I (his inlaw) was around didn't stop this useless man from going to sleep outside with his mistress. Telling you to divorce him will be as if I am equally telling every woman in similar situation to leave their husband and at the end, we will have a lot of single mothers everywhere.

So I am going to give u the same advice I gave my sister: You need to take this to God in prayer. I know it's not going to be easy but u have to continue showing him love, but never stop praying.
Thanks for the advice sir.

please kindly help me out; how do I cope with my husband that is too promiscuous. I have been trying all my possible best to please him in all ramifications and he pretends to be blameless. The funniest part is that God always reveals his secret to me one way or the other.Pls how do I cope with him because am just fed up of his infidelity. We had 2 boys and d marriage is 8 years gone.I have been confrontational on different cases but he will just apologize n continue.I have been trying to get a job for him in my company because I thought d distance in working place could cause d promiscuity.

scaredy:
I have been married for a year now to a man that is very unattractive. I married him for two reasons

1. My younger ones and friends were all married and I was desperate at 32.
2. He treats me well

He's a good husby but I sometimes get ashamed walking with him because he's very ugly. I'm a pretty girl and when we are in public he's all over me wanting people to know we are together and I see the looks they give us.

I don't mind sleeping with this man and being his wife, I just want the feeling of shame to stop.I know some men don't treat their wife well and I feel lucky mine own does that.
U dont have to feel ashamed since he treats u well.Just work on his dress sense anytime you have outing together. Hmm dont let those prostitutes snatch your husband. My little advice.

Dark Spots on Face

How to Deal With Blemishes: Tips for African American Women

Black women the world over know about dark spots, skin discoloration and uneven skin tones – these are skin issues most are familiar with. Like most women, African American women hate these dark spots, which are also called hyperpigmentation. While dark spots can appear anywhere on the body, dark spots on face are generally the greatest cause of embarrassment. Unfortunately this is something many black women face, but understanding the causes and learning how to eliminate them can help.

Causes of Dark Spots among Black Women

There are many factors that contribute to the appearance of dark spots on the faces of women of African descent. When skin is irritated it produces excess melanin at the area of irritation. It is this excess melanin that shows itself as dark spots and discoloration. Some of the main causes of dark spots on the face, especially for African American women are:

Acne: this skin condition affects women of all ages and frequently leaves dark spots behind.
Allergic reaction to cosmetics, food etc
Hormonal issues
Insect bites
Cuts and bruises

Sadly in many cases it takes months and sometimes years for these spots to disappear or fade until they are no longer easily seen. For some African American women, the dark spots never go away – at least not by themselves.
How to Minimize Appearance of Dark Spots

There are many ways that African American women can try to deal with dark spots on their faces. The best way is to use products made specifically for that purpose. Some companies that make products for black skin that can work for spots include:

AMBI
Black Opal

Before buying any of these products, do some research and read reviews online.
In your quest to deal with dark spots these tips will come in handy:

Look for products that contain hydroquinone, benzoyl peroxide, kolic acid, hydroxyl acids, and glycolic acids. These ingredients have been proven to help discoloration to fade. Ideally, a dermatologist is the best choice for help in dealing with dark spots on face.

Products containing hydroxyl acid helps old skin to shed resulting in quicker turn-over of new skin cells. New skin cells would be lighter thus minimizing the look of darker areas.

Sunlight can and does contribute to dark spots, so using a good sunscreen is always recommended. Even for black women, a sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher is recommended. The sun is not a friend of dark spots, so protecting the skin against being burnt is always important.

Other treatment for dark spots and blemishes on the face of women of color include microdermabrasion or other forms of chemical facial peels. These procedures remove old skin that is on the surface of the face leaving behind fresh new skin.

Do not pick at scars left by acne or blemishes as this will only make dark spots worse.

Quick fixes include using makeup to conceal the spots, but this should not become the solution of choice. In fact, using too much makeup or worse yet, not removing it properly can aggravate the condition.

If the dark spots are really bad, a visit to the dermatologist is in order. The dermatologist will prescribe a course of treatment which may include a topical cream to apply directly to the spots.
With a little work most African American women will find that preventing or minimizing the appearance of dark spots on face is possible. Knowledge is power, and as such African American women who want to prevent or treat dark spots should get as much information as possible to help them deal with this problem. The information provided above is a start.

One can also use Idole soap (exfoliating soap) and "original" Skinneal cream.Mind you, they dont bleach.
