PoliticsMartin Luther King Center, Children Deny Giving Award To President Buhari by coolscott(op): 10:01am On Mar 30, 2018
Following the much publicised event of Tuesday, March 27, where President Muhammadu Buhari was given an award in Abuja by visitors purportedly from the family of late African American civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., The King Center has issued a statement denying that the award was issued by them or the children of MLK Jr.

In a tweet late Wednesday night, the official Twitter handle of The King Center said: “The award given to President Buhari of Nigeria was not given by The King Center, at the request of The King Center or by the children of #MLK and #CorettaScottKing

PoliticsRe: Revealed: How TY Danjuma Attempted To Use Military For Ethnic Cleansing by coolscott(m): 3:45am On Mar 27, 2018
Of course, this is just a smear attack on TY Danjuma for dearing to say things frankly.

I wanted to say here that reacting by going for a smearing instead of a factual refutal lends further credit to TY's statements.

I however remembered that given what played out before Nigerians (and the rest of the world) the job of creating a believable refutal of TY's statements is so difficult that the challenge may never be taken on

PoliticsDo You Think President Buhari Really Wants No Chaos? by coolscott(op):
From the unfolding of events in Nigeria, it would seem that the president, far from what we believe, does not care if there is chaos or not in the country.

As a matter of fact, I have reason to fear that since his inaction cannot be said not to be deliberate, he has through his deliberate inaction, engineered the chaos so far.

While the things going on in this administration are just outrageous, the queerest and most visible oddity is the lack of concern of the president on the great levels of smear these things lend to his reputation, and his legacy as a Nigerian leader.

Indeed, the smear is so great that it is difficult for me to believe that the president pays any reasonable amount of bother to the outcome of his legacy within the civilized world.

I fear now, that he cares more about the legacy he leaves for himself amongst those that have transplanted medieval social values into their present day consciousness.

It is looking more and more as if he cherishes more, what will be said of him and what his ascent to the office of the presidency did for the furtherance of jihadist ideas in this modern times.

Scarily, it would seem that the glory of having used the accompaniments of modern day political power to smartly (in this case through inaction or negligence of job responsibility) make available the grounds for criminals to perpetuate barbaric medieval killings as could be found in the time of the crusades and such time as men and societies were most uncivil, and might and superior violence ended up defining what was right.

What will be written of the only modern day leader to successfully (through the smart use of his office) actually complete an islamic colouration of West Africa from the North (of Africa) to the Atlantic?

What will every other Islamic scholar think of him?

What will they write of him in the books?

What songs will they write of him?

What songs will they sing of him?

For how many thousand years will his name be named?

If indeed the lure of this glory currently is more appealing to president Buhari's mind, it explains why he has allowed things to degenerate to the level at which it is under his watch.

And

1). with the police more concerned with the locals getting rid of their local dane guns, than attacking and removing the killing heardsmen

2). with the minister of defense saying that the grazing law was the reason for the Benue attacks (over 90% of which had taken place months before the law was actually established),

Who do you think will benefit more from the presence of the armed forces if things degenerate into further chaos in most southern states?

PoliticsRe: "Buhari Is The Owner Of Boko Haram" - FFK Reacts To Residents Hailing Boko Haram by coolscott(m): 11:32am On Mar 22, 2018
IgbosAreOsus:
Defamation of character
To prove defamation of character, the person who made statements should be unable to provide credible reason for making the statements he is being accused of.

Why the fed govt will never sue FFK is that such a case will cause FFK to try and connect the dots (before the judge, which ends up being before Nigerians too).

Now, the fed govt. and the president do not want anyone connecting any dots.

The last thing they want is the nation embarking on a legal-type examination of the connection likelihoods between Buhari and Boko-Haram because the result such a case being on-going in court is that the nation will start following, studying and discussing the connections that the defendant points out, and some of which we already know because they are already public knowledge.
