MORNDEW: Is there anything we Crucified GEJ for, that has not Happened in this Administration? This was an article I saw on front page this morning https://www.nairaland.com/4405472/there-anything-crucified-gej-hasnt. As usual, the comments showed the lack of intelligence and the childish nature of the average politics section nairalander. Let me not write long epistles but below are things we Crucified GEJ for, that has not Happened in this Administration
1. Immigration Job Scam: The last administration wasted the lives of over 19 graduates and injured hundreds in a nonexistent immigration Job after collecting #1000 application fee from the applicant. The culprit in that she of shame Abba Moro, was left untouched.
2. Depleted Foreign Reserve: My friends, may our lives not be depleted the way the former administration depleted our foreign reserve. The administration of the ineffectual buffoon inherited $47.7 but depleted and squandered it to about $29 before leaving office. This came at a time when oil price was high.
3. Seized Aircraft carrying military weapons: In a show of shame and national disgrace, an aircraft belonging to a man who goes pastor Ayo Oritsejafor and loaded with military weapons was seized by SouthAfrican Authorities because it was illegally used in acquiring military weapons. Reporters agreed that the said aircraft had former militant leader Asari Dokubo on board. Where in the world do military weapons get acquired using a former rebel and the aircraft of a funny looking man of God? Only in the last administration.
4. Upsurge of Boko Haram: The former administration of the Kindergarten president saw the upsurge of Boko Haram. The terrorists, seized and controlled territories in Nigeria almost the size of Belgium. The terrorists grew from strength to strength. Institutions were easily bombed. UN building, Thisday building, St. Theresa Catholic Church etc. Abuja the Federal capital territory was not spared. Today BH has been decimated and confined to a hideout with pockets of attacks.
5. Borrowing to pay salaries: in continuation of the show of shame of the former administration, The former administration was borrowing to pay salaries at a time of many. A serious government borrow to develop infrastructure not to pay salaries.
6. Arrest of Opposition leaders before Elections. The kindergarten former administration made it a habit to arrest opposition leaders before elections. A day to the election in Osun State, opposition leaders like Lai Mohammed were arrested and detained till after the election. El-Rufai was arrested and detained in Anambra on the day of the governorship election. Same thing with Ekiti state election where arm banded military men were used to rig election.
7. Stealing is not corruption: The former accidental public servant, on a live media chat said stealing was not corruption. The body language and utterances of the former president upsurged corrupt practices and made it look like a culture.
8. Crass Crude First Lady: The former weak President had no control of the wife, who made mockery of her role as the wife of the president. A woman who threw decorum to the gutters and behaved like 17th century cave women. She went ahead to impose candidates and even acted like the president of the country as was observed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in his book.
9. Release of Chibok girls: girls were kidnapped in Chibok and a president who went to dance later could not release them until this administration. It took this administration tactics and experience to release the girls the former administration could not.
You see, one thing is to criticize this present administration for its short coming on different national issues but trying to compare this administration with the last amounts to insult on intelligent Nigerians. The last administration was a disaster. Given the circumstances and same scenario before 2015 presidential election, reverse that same election Nigerians would still elect president Buhari.
Nairaland has lost all forms of credibility by allowing illiterates to roam here polluting this place with their illiteracy hence it now looks like every Nigerian is that way. Stupid unintelligent comments now get likes and the illiterates are urged on by those likes to make more damaging comments that looks like it's the right thing.
one thing is to come here and show your shallowness and another thing is to face facts and reality. That you get likes from nonsense does not make it normal. People come here to disgrace their families and themselves and think it's the right thing.
Forgive me for missed punctuations and mistakes cos I just took time from my busy schedule to write this and set the records straight. And to also show that there are people on this forum who don't easily forget.
MORNDEW Writer, Public Affairs Analyst and Social Commentator amadiprincewill1@gmail.com If I was the one writing this post, I don't think i would have the courage to list what has been added as num 5 and num 6. We also know that when asked for a representative to represent them in talks with the govt, book haram unmistakably called on the then retired general Buhari to be their spokesman and representative in talks with government. Maybe it is because candidate Buhari had earlier declared that "An attack on Book Haram is an attack on the North" |

adamubk: A Nigerian jurist at the International Criminal Court (ICC) has been elected president of the war crimes tribunal. Chile Eboe-Osuji, who became the first Nigerian to be elevated to the court in 2012, would serve as ICC president for the next three years. The announcement was contained in a statement posted on ICC website on Sunday. See the full statement below: “Today, 11 March 2018, the judges of the International Criminal Court (ICC), sitting in a plenary session, elected Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji (Nigeria) as President of the Court for a three-year term with immediate effect. Judge Robert Fremr(Czech Republic) was elected First Vice-President and Judge Marc Perrin de Brichambaut (France) Second Vice-President.” The new appointee was also quoted in the statement. “I am deeply honoured to have been elected by my peers as President of the International Criminal Court. As I take up my duties, I feel encouraged that I am able to rely on the wide experience of the two Vice-Presidents, Judge Robert Fremr and Judge Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, both of whom I have closely worked with previously. “I look forward to working together with them as well as with all the judges, all the Officials and the staff of the Court in a spirit of collegiality. I also look forward to collaborating with the Assembly of States Parties, civil society and the international community at large, acting together to strengthen and reinforce the Rome Statute system, the 20th anniversary of the adoption of which we celebrate this year”, President Chile Eboe-Osuji stated following the election. “I am also grateful to the previous President, Judge Silvia Fernández de Gurmendi, and Vice-Presidents, Judges Joyce Aluoch and Kuniko Ozaki, for their work and leadership,” he added. The Presidency – consisting of the President and the two Vice-Presidents – plays a key role in providing strategic leadership to the ICC as a whole. Benue victims may seek redress as the fed govt may be guilty of culpable negligence in the spate of killings that have befallen them under the fed govt's watch |

There is a new "zing!" to babajide ogunsanwo's expression (and persona) on TV this year that I have never seen before, that causes me to think that he has just recently been blessed by the love of a woman.
So the topic of this thread is just my guess that he may have just gotten married this year.
Anybody else notice the marked hike in the energy of his expressions? |

What if these students were fed with peanuts to come stand under these haggard looking roof. Just saying o I wanted to make note of the nice building at in the background because I recognize it to be the design of the primary schools Amaechi built. But then I remembered that Amaechi built primary schools. It would seem these people are complaining about a nearby secondary school. You see, the statewide remaking of primary schools had as the limits of its scope, primary schools. I know of only one secondary school (a model secondary school) that was made by him and it was fantastic, the reports say, when it was functional. |
Politics › Corruption Getting Worse In Nigeria – Transparency International by coolscott(op): 11:25pm On Feb 22, 2018 |
Corruption is getting worse in Nigeria, according to the latest corruption perception index (CPI) released by Transparency International (TI) on Wednesday.
While the country scored 27/100 and was ranked 136th in 2016, the latest CPI scores Nigeria 28/100 but with a rank of No. 148 out of 180 countries surveyed — a significant 12 places below where it was the previous year
https://cdn.vanguardngr.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/CORRUPTION-cartoon-300x287.jpg
This will come as a blow to the President Muhammadu Buhari administration who came into office on the strength of his anti-corruption credential.
Although the administration has put many suspects on trial and seized assets of politicians and government officials, it has also been accused of condoning corrupt practices by top government officials.

We are all dissapointed at PMB. I was not a PMB supporter at all but when they said he was going to try to islamize Nigeria, I didn't believe it. I thought they were just pushing things too far (like politicians normally do) in the exuberance of the campaign.
We are all ashamed of PMB.
In the first place, how could the lousy idea of "cattle settlements" come up right on the heels of the killings.
It is overwhelming.
On the heels of the murders of Agatu people by murders, the govt had the efunctary to say that the Agatus should carve out land for them so that the travelling strangers can live in peace (in Agatu with them) and that would solve the problem.
If we feel the govt looks culpable, it is the govt that has pro-actively earned this image for itself. |

amInigerian: Due to the lies told by the south easterners that the indigenous people of Bonny are Igbos, I have taken it upon myself to permanetly expose their fraudulence here by spitting out here a plethora of Ibani nouns and sentences with their English meanings, challenging any Igbo claiming that the Bonny people who bought them as slaves and sold them to the white man became Igbo people by giving some of them their freedom, instead of the other way round which is that the slaves that were brought into bonny and granted their freedom through prescribed ceremonies by the Bonny kingdom, ended up becoming Bonny people.
Oya. How do they say "Come and eat" in Igbo.?
In Ibani it is "Bo ye fi"
Please other Ijaw people, let us hear how you say come and eat in your own language.
Luckily, many non-Igbos know the Igbo equivalent of the sentences I will put up here so I see no place to hide.

Culture › When Ijaws Speak, Igbos Should Know When To Respectfully Keep Quiet by coolscott(op): 11:04pm On Feb 20, 2018 |
I have mentioned here in the past, how traditionally emotionally unstable the igbo mind is.
Which is why he is the only one that tried to claim Lagos (a whole Lagos) is their own.
Igala's were there.
Efiks have been there.
Ijaws have been there.
Nupes have been there
Kanuris live there
But none of them was mad enough to smear themselves with the dishonourable attempt of a such a claim.
How shameful it is, I doubt that they do know.
I am many times happy when the attention of the Igbos is on others (westerners and northerners) but unfortunately, being as unstable as they are, their attention has proven every now and then to stroll down south (South-south region, land of the Ijaws and others) for the expression of their misdemeanours.
I am happy that on Nairaland posts can always be recalled and so I dedicate this thread to reminding the Igbos why and when they should keep quiet (and look inwards) when other ethnic groups are speaking.
First Whereas the white man had to pay our Ijaw kings and chiefs a tax in order to do business in our area, the white man was the one who created (and installed) warrant chiefs for the igbo man in many parts, so that there would be some local leadership structure with which to execute their indirect rule by the time colonialism began.
Are these the kind of people that should not know when to be humble, look inward and know how to help themselves from within?
In as much as it is the white man that created your chiefs for you, please, please, and please...
Don't suffer the rest of us (whether Yoruba, Ibibio or Ijaw) with your delusions of joining your non-existent historical legacy with our intact ones. |

doyinisaac: Steemit is a social media website that uses the blockchain and a cryptocurrency called Steem to reward participants.
You can make money on Steemit by writing quality blog posts, and also upvoting and commenting on posts. When you write blog posts you get a reward as an Author, and when you comment and upvote, you earn a reward as a Curator.....incase if the grammar is too big for you..lol... "Let me break it down to a simpler form... Steemit.com is a forum where you get paid for posts, comments and also when you vote for a post from another writer.....and you get paid through a cryptocurrency called "steem dollars" which you can easily convert to Bitcoin and withdraw in nigeria.....stop wasting your writing skills, people are making money on steemit....And it is totally free to join....100% free........and when the moniker "crazymommy" created a thread about making money with pictures,I think this is the best way to do achieve that because there are also categories for "photograohy" on the website.....Goodluck everyone...incase if you have any questions just go ahead....every information posted on this thread is totally free....no nonsense person should come here and be marketing one nonsense book..... crazymommy I came in late. Shankieboy: I'm a devoted christian. I believe in Jesus And his teachings. But what I don't seem to understand is Why he hasn't changed my Sexuality. I've prayed. Threatened to harm myself, believing he'll heal me from homosexuality. But all to to no avail.
I've fasted. 5 days dry. I've been celibate for years but I still find myself attracted to members of my gender.
I'm very close to self hate because I feel disgusted with myself. I've tried to be straight. had several girlfriends but I don't seem to be sexually attracted to them. It just doesn't work.
What do I do? Please, help me. I need a miracle. I need an intervention. Else, I'll wallow in depression.
Insults are welcomed. Let me please tell you one truth. Some people have hormonal imbalance. I have seen women who want to become men on reality tv. Part of what they do is take regular doses of male hormones such that even the shape of their faces eventually acquire the look of a man. I did not have to see this on tv anyway to know. Men and women both have male and female sex hormones. But men have by far of the male hormones than the female ones. The same thing for women, who have by far more of the female hormones than the male ones. That is why during puberty (when sex hormones start developing in men) some men see their nipples temporarily rise. The female hormones are developing alongside the male but they eventually get over-shadowed by the dominance of male hormones. What I am saying in essence is... Please take hormonal treatment. Also, as someone said, how this started in history, may be very relevant to this. Facing (and taking care of - ie dealing with) what happened that caused/started this in the past [ if this is the case] is super powerful as you are confronting the reason why things took a turn for this path. But lest you forget... Hormonal treatment works. Hormones are the very things God created to handle our sexuality, that makes a man's voice deep or a girls waist swell/sway I think you will be fine. Hormonal treatment takes effect progressively and in my view is the physical cement with which heal this anomaly FluidQueen |
