Hello house, hope everyone is doing good. Took a break to reflect on my trades after losing out with gold, taking it slow now.

My outlook on gold: waiting to see if there would be a bearish reaction at supply which would also be the second shoulder of a potential HnS pattern. As long as gold remains below 1916 i dont see the bull run resuming soon, it has been making lower highs on the weekly since August last year. Am still looking at this monthly chart i posted before, the consolidation continues untill a breakout.

Weekends are for price study.

So after the first GU loss, I "angrily" gave her trade slot to GJ (that's why there are currently two open positions on GJ in my last screenshot ).

But studying price action today, it looks to me like the GBP ladies are both set for a green week. If I have any spare margin after execution of USDCAD, I'll add GU. Buying from the 1.32250 to 1.34**

The trade conditions will be 100% when the PWH is broken before retracement for entry. Ideal SL as I trade will be at the PWL.

I am watching out for GU too.

If price doesn't close inside the trendline, I'll look for opportunity to long.

I will wait for London and New York session to know the next move.

I caught the GJ sell. Held for 3 days. Missed out on the buy.

Guys, since the day I became a full-time trader, I have not had 4hrs straight sleep - I'm so worn out right now. I have been extremely busy studying charts day & night, doing some extensive/intensive digging of the market. Now, I can say I'm fully operating in a realm that I have never operated in my decades of trading career.

Good success comes with a lot of hard work, smart work, and dedication.

I have now completed both the US$200K challenge (stage 1) and verification (stage 2) of the prop firm TCF. I will now count 6 more days to make up the minimum trading days (10). By the 17th of December, 2021, TCF should provide me with a US$200K live account to start.

This with my US$100K FTMO makes my total trading capital US$300K

What I meant by I don't trade candlestick patterns is that I don't use shooting star, marabozu, pinbar, doji etc to decide a trade.

I no longer trade candlesticks or chart patterns.

Capital preservation over profit.

Consistent profit is better than one-time profit.

The reason GabsonFX will never blow his account or have issues that we have now is because he's a Professional Trader.

Their strategy is just part of the equation.

If you have the privilege to interact with consistently profitable traders, you'll see them preaching about risk management every time.

It's key in trading.

In my early days on this forum, boss Infofirst and GabsonFX always talked about Risk Management.

I didn't know how important it was then.

Now, I know.

It's about consistency and not being controlled emotionally by the market.

You have to control yourself.

You are the number one problem you'll have in the market.

...not to second guess you boss, but, just take a second closer look at whether you want to remain bullish {D1 & W1 wise} on XAUUSD {from a kind heart}...I think bearish from 1788 to 1747, maybe, 1722.

...I might be wrong though...a learning curve for me. I will learn a thing or two from your re-analysis.

Accept that it will cost you time, be ready to pay the price (time) then the journey becomes an interesting one.

If you're lacking in these, I don't think sleeping on YouTube, having hundreds of mentors, reading every trading course there is, etc would yield any good fruit.

I will never recommend Babypips and YouTube videos to newbies again.

I'll rather advise them to find someone that will teach them. Someone with a track record.

That is ready to mentor and guide them.

As you entered this journey.... to shorten the learning process and story of I blew my account, this and that.... follow a mentor......

Find someone that would put you through...
and also Remember don't watch too many different traders video.. stick to one...
Also find or develope...a strategy..

For example..l.. there is no trading strategy I don't know.....(I can beat me chest saying this) but I was looking for the holy grail.. which I never saw.... this was because I had no mentor

I stucked with trend trading....and trading one pair.....
since Monday I have only traded four times.... and I am in profits......

Forex is a good thing... treat it like a business......
Study,study and study......

Also Don't be deceived by those profits you see on YouTube.... they only show you profits
Believe me when I say I joined most telegram signals providing group....( Some were doing well at sometime)
I even used EA.... but...

Stay with a strategy.... and you would become profitable in no time...

Keep grinding....see you at the top....

This is the Holy Grail my friend.

Find a mentor that's a trackable record. And stick with him or her.

And he or she is dedicated to see you grow.

To shorten your learning curve.

You need someone to hold your hand firmly.

And you have to give it your all.

You can't put one leg into forex. It requires all of you.

It's a recipe for disaster.

Risk management is very key in this business.

It will sustain you for years.

Some people are good with their strategy but poor with risk management.

And that makes them a failure.

They make money today and lose everything tomorrow.

My advice is to learn risk management and be very strict with it.

The market will always present opportunities to make money.

It's something that I was lacking.
