It was bad for Chelsea because De Bruyne would have been a great addition to the team. Mourinho missed a good one there.

So, DSTV has opened all Super Sport channels to aggrieved Compact Plus subscribers from 14th to 28th August. Also promising some new channels.

Well, make we dey watch. No way this can convince me to part with 14k monthly as I will most likely downgrade to Compact or Family and check out available alternatives to watch EPL matches.

majority of the chelsea fans are simpletons......
never forget 90% of these guys are okada riders who just want to associate with a blue colour. they are loud, obnoxious with a chaotic mental processing. schnerderlin's team was under constant attack because of it's below average strength......common sense would dictate he would defend more than usual than busquets' team that hug possession 90% of the match. when VDS kept clean sheet for 1000 mins in 2008/9, in many of those games, he had no single save to make because vidic was a rock ahead of him.......in that same season, jaskaleinein was making 20 saves per match for bolton..........by airmark's logic, jussi is better than VDS!!!

Now I'm not trying to say that Schneirderlin and Matic and Or Vidal are better than Busquets...though they very well might be.

But look below, All 3 midfielders bested Busquets for core defensive statistics last season...WHY?

Because they had to DEFEND more.

Each of those 3 had to make more tackles, more interceptions, and more blocks per 90 minutes than Busquets.

When we look at the totals, the picture becomes clearer.

Morgan Schneiderlin played 300 minutes less than Busquets, but had to make more total tackles, interceptions, and clearances than the spaniard, because well Morgan has to DEFEND

I'm sure I dont need to post any stats to show that Busquets bests those in Pass Completion Stats though.

Put Busquets in a passing team, and he will shine as a passing midfielder. I have not seen anything else to suggest he is the best DEFENSIVE midfielder. emphasis on defensive.

This is the reason I respect Dayo, A40 and all Bayern fans worldwide. They never bragged about this 7-0 victory. We got our revenge last season, and we never bragged about it. We have mutual respect for each other.

But Chelsea fans are the worst. You played 2-2 against us in 2012, na noise noise and noise. You won Bayern via penalties, some fans slaughtered cows. It clearly shows Chelsea's status among the true elite clubs.

Liverpool won us @ Camp Nou, they don't brag about it.

We can say the same for epl too. We all know that next season, EPL is gonna be a 2 horse race between Ogogoro and Shitty. Other clubs like arsenal will only do gra gra. United's form will fluctuate.

Despite all these, it is expected that no English team will reach the semi final of the ucl. That spot is reserved for the holy trinity of European football plus any club from Germany, Italy or Spain.
