PoliticsRe: Murtala Muhammed Airport To Undergo ₦712 Billion Renovation - Festus Keyamo by CornOak(m): 12:23am On Aug 02, 2025
greatiyk4u:
Forget dogo turanci
We are talking about the estimated cost of the project is way higher than normal, why allocate such amount that can build a new standard airport with enough balance recouped?
As an aviation enthusiast, I don't know why I found the bolded funny, lol. $450m (#712b) will build a new standard airport with enough balance? Wait, do you mean a airfield?

Befitting, high-quality, and fully functional airport projects (new builds or renovations) are not cheap anywhere in the world, Chief. This is why the government usually involve private investors for funding.

Hamad International Airport, Doha, Qatar, was opened in 2014 and gulped $22 billion. Istanbul Airport, Turkey started operations in 2019 and cost about $14 billion. Imagine the costs of building the same now.

Simply put, MMIA is not fit to be tagged a standard airport. The airport is simply a disgrace, and the new terminal 2 is the saving grace. Truly and honestly, it's high time the government invested in renovating that airport to world-class standard.

Hopefully, the construction of the new Lekki Airport will commence soon.

Legit question, when last did you visit the old terminals?

Clearly, both your degree and institution are recognized. Therefore, you don't need to use ZAB.

Clarity requires information and I had hoped I would get some here. Thanks for the time though, I honestly do appreciate it. Have a pleasant evening
Since your school is recognized, go back to Anabin and check if your degree (MBBS) is listed.

Hello house,
I need advice as I have almost gotten to the point of giving up on this Canadian PR.
I and my husband are in the pool with me as the main applicant. We currently have a score of 375.
But it seems like they won't be calling that any time soon at this rate. I have tried to look into most PNP routes and we av applied for mpnp and I have 609 ranking points, I have B.sc in computer science buh I don't have tech experience and my ielts score is L-7.0, R-6.0, W-6.5 and S-7.5
Is there anything I am over looking ?
Is there another route we can consider again for PR?
Please I need advice. My NOC is Administrative Assistant.
I have considered learning French but I think it would take me too long as I am overwhelmed with al lot of other activities at the moment.
Yes, you're overlooking your English Proficiency.

With this ielts score, you're leaving a lot of points on the table. Your next agenda should be to rewrite your English test and max it out, this should propel your score significantly.

In addition, if you truly want the PR, learning French might be the sure ticket as your NOC is not targeted by IRCC at the moment.

Good luck.

Madugu should go and sit down abeg. His constant barking if orders can also be very confusing. We've not heard Elis talk once. He should allow the girls play
Baba don forget say we don play 80 minutes with just one change, he will only have himself to blame if we lose this game. The girls are tired and are already leaving acres of space in both midfield and defense.
