l wonder how some people reason. how can you please everybody. no way, first please your mind. people were only condemning police because many people are talking bad about them, remember there are alot of good people among police officer. l meet a friend we camp together at NYSC camp who is a police officer but he manage to finish from university and want to upgrade himself. he said he usually preach to other police officers and each time his boss posted him on sundays, he usually call his boss and said oga. you know truly that l am a Christian and l need to be in Church why can you use a Muslim to replace my duty on sunday then on Friday l can relief him as well. he talk to his oga that, you said we are misbehaving if we were sent out for operation why are we not misbehaving when we need to be in Church or Mosque listening to word of God that will be the time we will be sent out for operation. l laugh, now is a best friend to that oga. he gave him chance to go for NYSC.

therefore, if you think police job are for certain type of people then you are out of the game. you know you can contribute your best to develop this country. you complain about everything but you refuse to contribute what you know for the betterment of the people.

The present apartment l rented is own by a police officer who is not even up to ASP by rank, is a junior officer anyway. he made it just because he know what is doing. some of us have forgotten during our NYSC year we are collecting 19,500 and some received lower than that depend on the year you serve but we are happily to receive the money and manage it. what of if you collect more than that. are you not going to survive pending the Government will remember to upgrade their salaries. my father use to say, a little drop of water that is regular can full a tank but only with time and patience.

You know police job is pensionable? do you know after you serve the for 10years you are pensionable and you can resign and join your business? do you know you can be fortunate to be attach to peace mention in other country for some month and come back to pay you in millions? do you know you can be attach to one big oga who can change your story.

l am not here to impress anyone to join and l am not a police man but l am interested in the job. let us put our ego down and embrace reality because time is going and opportunities and passing indecision man bye everyday only smart people catches opportunity.

imagine civil defense earning more than d police nd still yet the police are doing deir job, civil defence goes to office 3times in a week, police are sometimes 24hrs at work nd yet they are doing their job in d little way that they can. I believe the if we have more oriented graduate in d Nigeria police force, it will change for good. shalom

Respect your leader so your followers can respect you. look closely the issues facing Nigeria are really coming from which region, if you can be able to answer that question then you should be able to know he is saying the truth.
He is a vice president of all Nigerians not for south west. if they fail to deliver we will complain. we should put sentiment and tribal apart in this great country of our. take a close look if you travel to another state rather than your own state, it mean you are a total stranger because of the way they we treat you.
Only few state like Lagos that imbibe the spirit of unity in the country because they don't care if you are not from their state before they can give you appointment. go to north or east and try that and see how they will treat you.

In the recent time, l was on Nairaland travel thread where people were asking alot of questions in traveling to visa free countries for Nigerian passport holder.

l felt this is a real welcome development to see our dear country been given access to travel to so call countries demanding for visa from us before, countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Mauritania, Mauritius etc.

The questions most people ask are:

How can they book and board a plain to a country they don't have visa to, with all this maximum scrutiny by NACO, security operative and airline staffs. Atime those airline staff use stop many without visa to their destination either they know that the country in question is a visa free or not, sometimes they use to demand for invitation from locals in that country in question after showing them confirm hotel reservation. l gather all these from my own personal research and morealso, I am not a first time traveler even if l don't travel to visa free countries yet. what happen in our airport it open and it not hidden from frequent travelers.

How sure the immigration in those visa free countries we grant visa on arrival? I was in Ghana airport to board a flight from Ghana to part of Southern Africa some years back as a result of no direct flight from Nigeria to that country and to eliminate stop over. as l approach the Ghana airport for Check l was subjected to different questions and l was directed back to go back and sign from the airline official in a bid not to miss my flight. l rush down to sign. latter their immigration was asking me alot of question because she know l am a Nigeria, when she could not find anything to nail me. She now ask me to give her some money, l replied her with a smile "madam l am very rich now, maybe when l am coming back because l am left with my BTA, Sorry ma" and the whole problem solved.

What are the document to take alone, apart from confirm hotels reservation, international passport and BTA at least $1,000 that l use to know?

And lastly, what is the best and fare airline for this kind of traveling. why is this question, yes if you want to know go and ask British Airway to take you to Barbados or saint Kitts and Nevis that they use to travel to and see their response then, you should be able to understand why l ask.

l know we have enough travel experience and travel guru in the house that can answer these questions.

sorry to say, your arrogant cannot take you anywhere. we are talking about unity and national development. please talk like someone who really understand that the certificate he possess or position he has it just a privilege because tomorrow table can turn and change can be equally effected and turn around to favor the so call HND holder tomorrow. A case studies of Governor Rauf Aregbeshola of Osun State is an HND holder and he is an engineer by profession graduated from the ibadan polytechnic and l am so much believe that he possess more than the HND by now. another one is Governor Fayose of Ekiti State he also possess HND which l know he possess more than that qualification by now, just to name few because of space and time. Try and read biography of your leaders and learn about lives. all these people now, God have already place them even above professor in their various states paying them salaries, appointing them as SA, commissioners etc. If you possess B.SC today and you have job you are doing thank God and don't discriminate. I live in the USA and its not easy for citizens here talkess of who no get work permit or green card. Pray God to bless your hussle in naija, most of us will like to return home to naija if we got the ticket and somewhere to stay, lol.... the grass is always greener on the other side, be wise!
