My dad recieved a call from one 'Barrister' who told him that he was recommended by someone in a particular institution. He asked my dad to foward his CV to presidencyfiles@gmail.com for screening by a comittee.
NB: Ny dad was not told what he was recommended for and the individual that recommended him is working in an institution in a state that my dad has worked before but he no longer works in that state. He's not also aware of who recommended him.
So nairalanders, does it look like a scam? Have you had such experience or know of,anyone that has? Your advice would be appreciated.

Hello nairalanders, am about to secure a job by the special grace of God as a graphic designer in a printing firm, now the problem lies on the salary choice, i was asked by my employer to choose between 15k a month for a start with an option of increment of salary and a daily incentive of #300 per day and #1000 every weekend(saturday) against my initial demand which was 30k before i agreed on 25k as my final pay..so guys the bottom line is "15k + an option of increment + 300naira per day and 1000naira per week OR 25k a month with no option of increment and no daily/ weekly stipends" I was a bit confused and i told my employer i will get back to him for an answer, i was thinking of 25k cos 15k is just small, but those little benefits attached to the 15k are making it difficult for me to make a choice.

u musnt begin an application with " in response to your advert on......" . u can begin with " i wish to apply for the positn of.......", i am interested in d positn of" etc. so dont tie your application around that phrase.

Please does anyone has information about the authenticity of job africa recruitment agency? I applied for a job with them and just this evening, I received an email that I have been offered appointment with dangote cement and also I am to travel to calabar for the training on Monday. Please how true could this be considering the fact that I just submitted my cv but no facial interview?

I got married to an American woman in which we were denied visa to join each other but since that time she became something else in which I couldn't cope with at all and she keeps asking for divorce, but 4 months after the interview I told her to go her way and I will go mine, so she canceled the application that ought to be reviewed in which she regretted it later. Lately, she started saying I wanted to use the marriage certificate to come to the states and after my investigation I realized some people were telling her that and even pushed her to report me to the U.S embassy in Lagos. I never have such intention and I believe something like that can never happen. The divorce will be finalized in weeks but what can I do to settle this case in the U.S embassy because soonest I will need a visa?
Please, what can I do? I need a sincere advice.
