The VIN was requested, instead of providing it you chose to draw this into a debate about totally unrelated nonsense like import duty and market forces. Was there ever any reference made about the state of the vehicle? There is nothing wrong with importing accidented Vehicles, just as long as the VIN is provided with the advert. Not providing it is Lazy, and refusing to provide it is definitely dishonest. Neither of those are positive qualities for a salesman. I will make a comment, and I have absolutely no intentions of buying anything. You knew it was necessary to provide all that information, and you asked someone requesting the VIN to give you a call, only to provide the VIN and the rest of that information after the VIN was posted clearly against your wishes. Now here you are taking jabs at random people. If you registered on this website in 1990 and you still conduct yourself in this manner then you're much worse than someone who registered 10 minutes ago but has the sense to conduct his/her affairs with common sense. For anyone who actually cares about the context of the memo and the reasons for the response, here's something about James Damore and the memo that sparked a firestorm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEDuVF7kiPU My opinion: James Damore was an insecure individual with more than a whiff of sexist behaviour about him. Google eventually did the right thing and canned him. It's alright to have principles, but individual circumstances are almost never the same, and the actions of a few inane members of a commune do not invalidate the positivity of the majority. 1 Like 1 Share |
