Let's hope the buyers were informed about this history. Would be very unscrupulous not to. |
hubcruz:That makes this a flooded vehicle. You should mention that in your advert. Simply add that the Vehicle was salvaged on account of flooding but was repaired. |
The damage isn't too severe. One would wonder why he was so reluctant to simply post the VIN. |
|
|
All of this is just to avoid posting the VIN? |
Oluwadamilare99:Are you harboring one? |
flexicon:Can't make that claim without the VIN/Chassis number of this vehicle. |
You're welcome. Learn something. |
doctorbj4real:That's the correct VIN. Has your vehicle somehow lost value now that you've made that available? |
emeshot:It's not stress, and it isn't intended to affect your sales. Sell all you wish. Just provide relevant information. If you prefer it I could also take a look at your currently running adverts. |
Some of the monikers you've mentioned do put up photos and VIN information on their adverts, some do not. I agree with this perspective to an extent and I believe that it could be refined to arrive at a minimum acceptable level of information required on all adverts in this section. It should be required, more importantly for Tokunbo vehicles but could also apply to Nigerian used vehicles, to have, at a minimum, - Clear photos of the vehicle being offered for sale. Exterior : Front, Rear, both sides, Engine bay, Trunk. Interior : Dash displaying Mileage and other dash information. Engine turned on to display warning lights. Front driver and passenger compartment, and Rear passenger compartments. Along with photos of any other features of note including dents or gashes, or special features like engine or body modifications, etc. - Photo of the VIN stamp of the vehicle taken in such a way that it proves that it indeed belongs to the vehicle being advertised for sale. Close enough for the digits to be visible, but far enough to incorporate other elements of the vehicle body. A brief summary of the vehicle history mentioning significant findings. Accidented but repaired, accidented but not Salvaged. FLOODED, etc. Purchased from copart auction, etc. At this stage photos detailing the condition would definitely be an added advantage but as long as the VIN stamp photo is provided and the above mentioned summary is available, the photos are not an absolute requirement. No one is against any parties selling any vehicles in this section, it just needs to be done properly to enable interested parties make informed decisions. Vehicle or automobile price. It does not have to be a fixed figure. But an approximate figure should be required. Interested parties should not have to make phone calls to find out initial prices of advertised merchandise. Vehicle location and Contact information. The above may seem like a lot of work, but 10 minutes with a camera would get those photos and the rest of the mentioned features. My position. |
I do not need to want to buy this vehicle for you to post the VIN. Is this a stolen vehicle? |
Commendable. |
Post the VIN for this vehicle if you'd like to be taken seriously. |
|
Accidented Vehicle Note deployed airbags.

GAZZUZZ: I dabble but this is not my forte. A lot of great minds in this section way ahead of me. Thanks for the Vote of confidence though. |

hubcruz:It's not for me, it's for other interested parties. I could probably get it if I wanted to. I encourage you to get it and post it though. Nothing to lose if you do so yourself. |
hubcruz:You don't have it? |
chukel:You saw my reply? |
doctorbj4real:Post the VIN and interested parties can run their checks. |
What if I posted this as the mileage? You can't prove that it isn't, it's just like the random photo you posted. I guarantee this vehicle has had its odometer tampered with
|
doctorbj4real:Lol You realize this photo could easily be from any random car? Funny guy. So you'd post a random photo of a random odometer all in a bid to avoid posting the vin Bros |
Accidented history but not Salvaged Mileage 284,576 miles
|
BedLam:They press their noses into Ostrich feather eiderdowns and sink into plush quilts while the Courvoisier spills from Chateau Baccarat flutes onto Isfahan rugs. Iranian Beluga makes any turbulence enjoyable. |
One of these days your clean title and accident free claims will catch up with you in a major way.
|
This one na habitual odometer fraudster |
Ipfreely:More like 244,778 miles
