Did she not take dhlpp when she was younger? If she did, I don't see how taking it again will help; talk more of helping the puppies. If my little understanding of health science is correct.

So, which antibiotics did you place her on? For 7 days...If you had gone through vet doctors, I believe they would have discouraged you because that can actually cause antibiotics resistance in the dog. When there's a good reason to administer antibiotics, the body might resist its effect. That's actually an abuse.

You are correct. It could also be a jet.

The original german shepherd working dog is built to be healthy and straight backed, these characteristics make the original gsd look smaller than the slant back gsd dog.

The straight backs now look like anything else because of the "idea" image of the slant back gsd super imposed by people who love the look of the slant back.

Though quite lenghty, dog lovers should read and learn about white markings on dogs.
