Promise Eshiet, a 53-year-old man told an Ogba Chief Magistrate Court how he has been sleeping with his 13-year-old daughter in the past three years. He blamed his action on the devil, saying he was attracted by his daughter’s beauty.

Eshiet, who resides at Ogbeni Street in Sangotedo, Ajah area of Lagos, continually looked to the ground throughout the hearing saying he deflowered her in 2015 when she was 10.

The prosecutor, Christopher John, said the defendant was the biological father of the victim and that the matter was a case of incest. He said it was the daughter that made it known when she became tired of the trauma, leading to the arrest of the father, while the victim was rescued and sent to protective custody for rehabilitation.

22-year-old Katie Stubblefield has successfully had a full face transplant after she lost most of her face in an attempted suicide when she was 18.

Katie shot herself in the face in March 2014 after her parents lost their jobs and her boyfriend left her for another girl. Doctors said she would not survive but she did, though her face became deformed

She recently had a full face transplant surgery where her face was replaced with that of a registered donor named Andrea Schneider, 31, who died of a drug overdose.

Researchers interviewed 732 married couples between the ages of 57 and 85 and found that those who reported having little to no sex reported lower levels of marriage satisfaction. The more often couples reported getting busy, the happier and more positive they said they felt about their marriages. Interestingly, this association held when their hookups involved any sexual act (not just intercourse).

Obviously, these findings can go one of two ways: Either couples are happier because they're having more sex, or they're having more sex because they're happier with the relationship. Regardless, it seems pretty clear that it's crucial to make sex a priority in any relationship. Plus, the more time you dedicate to your sex life, the more likely you are to keep things hot in the long run: One recent study found that women who ranked sex as important in their lives were more likely to stay sexually active over time. The Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Matthew Kukah, says some tertiary institutions in Northern Nigeria have over the years refused to allocate spaces within their premises for their Christian studentss to worship.

Speaking at a book launch organised by Premiumtimes, Kukah accused northern governors of aiding the alleged injustice.
“As I’m talking here now, whether it is Bayero University, Usman Dan Fodio University, most of the universities and tertiary institutions in northern Nigeria, Christians don’t have a place to worship after over 40 years of the existence of these universities and these are the areas where the intellectuals, those who are going to govern Nigeria, this is where they are.
“Up till today, as I’m talking to you, you can’t find a single governor in northern Nigeria that will effortlessly sign a certificate of occupancy for the building of a church. Nowhere,” Kukah said at the event
