They no longer sell their publications. They used to do it from inception to around the 90s. Now, JWs are the ones that pay for the publications by making contributions.

When I first attended their convention (outta curiosity) I realized that, JW isn't just any type of organization but the type that meets every requirements to be called a "cult".

In 2003, a neighbor left the church and married a man from another church, they "disfellowshiped" that lady and even her immediate family refused attending the wedding.
