Wow...what a relief! I guess the twitter campaign worked seeing that someone from PTDF has reached out to us...fingers crossed now Kh001: For orientation to take place, the speakers, lecturers and experts have to be available hence part of the reason of the delay. During the orientation, we will help you apply for standard visa and flight will be booked for successful ones.
Because of our good reputation, visa outcome is usually ready within seven days after interview. Do not panic if you can't meet up nor do we advise anyone to pay to school for admission confirmation. Doing that is at your own risk. You can always defer your scholarship for up to a year.
Just wanted to make things clear as you all deserve to know. Goodnight everyone |

Na wa for una o... He made a claim but a claim is an assertion or statement and not a fact, a simple disavowal would have sufficed but no, you had to bring logic into it and in doing so, you managed to bring your own reasoning into question. DreManuel literarily provided the reason why he's suspecting you, that picture is still there for everyone to see. He highlighted a link between usernames and POVs from a twitter handle and an account here on Nairaland; its logical. You on the other hand have not said anything that will disabuse our minds from his claims. Apart from calling him silly and questioning his education, you haven't repudiated his claims; I think its you who's being illogical. Abeg, na talk I talk, I no insult you. madridsta007: LOL.
You are laughably silly. So silly that responding to your message would appear, at best, ridiculous, but I would. I'm a bit worried that as a graduate, which I presume you are, you are making a wild claim without any evidence at all. I am a PTDF staff, contractor or affliate lol. You are a funny fellow.
Do you understand the use and need for logic? If you had done a bit of research before your pedestrian outburst you would have been embarrassed at your churlish claim.
I am currently involved in the Twitter campaign. I have said the Twitter campaign should be targeted towards PTDF as they are the ones holding the results. Not Flexisaf. What should Flexisaf do? Beat up PTDF staffs for you or go on strike?
I know the annoyance, believe me I do, but use your brains for once. Not your emotions. Maintain rationality. We should query PTDF, agreed; but do you think insulting PTDF will make them listen to you? Where is that done? You are supposed to be a graduate and not a street urchin. Behave differently. |

I had to go back and reread what DMainMan initially posted to understand what triggered this argument and I still do not understand how some of you interpreted it as Northerners not having first class graduates or the North not having good schools.
He said a program was discontinued because applicants from the South were outperforming those from the North. If you think he's lying, you should say so but even with that he provided links to buttress his point.
Come on guys, we are all applying for advanced degrees which means we should be capable of logical reasoning and what's up with the insults? Can't you disagree with another person without cursing or being obnoxious? |

Mballowa: Hahaha i am sure some people did not sleep well so eager to know their fait. I must tell you there isnt any certainty that the list will be published today. Anything can change. So chill guys. But you were the one who said (with certainty) that the list will be out today It has to be released today though, its only logical, if not I'll advise that Sept hopefuls should start considering deferment options. Most schools in the US already resumed this week, so its already very tight for those going there. |
