What kind of sense is that one? Kuku say you want Buhari to stay and stop the drama. Don't even say you are voting for your conscience because your PVC is not a ticket to heaven nor to the Moralists Intellectuals Olympics.
Your PVC is only for electing people! Nobody counts Protests votes in any election! Be honest and real and stop hawking your naivety.

Politics › Re: Dangote Deep-sea Pipeline To Boost Nigeria’s Power Generation By 12,000mw by Crankshaft: 9:46am On Jun 14, 2018 |
fiizznation: Generating electricity is not always the problem, when this generated power is transmitted on high-voltage power lines, the major problem has always been how to distribute the generated power on local power distributing lines to our homes and businesses
By distribution, I'm talking about the transformers, metering the electricity we use, etc. Distribution is the retail end of any electricity business. And if distribution doesn't work well. Whatever input you will put in power generation will always be a waste of time.
Though I commend dangote for even trying. I believe with time, distributing the power will be better. |

johnime: There are 2 teams in a football match
Each team has 11 players
Each male player has 2 "balls"
There are 22 players on both teams
22 players each with 2 balls
That makes it 44 balls on both teams
Plus the ball on the field = 45 balls
How the 45mins for half time was created They referee doesn't have balls |

Bill Gate is hitting them back to back. That's the definition of a man. He said it, he still affirmed what he said before the entire world. The Nigerian government should be ashamed that Someone outside the shell understands the economy inside the shell better than the occupants.
The room is now open to EL Rufai and co to defend their ignorance.
Or they will start blaming opposition for bribing Bill gate to say that. |

For me 4 things are very important, degree, certification, experience and skill. Though sometimes depend on the nature of the job and what is required for the job. It is very important to have all 4, you don't have to neglect any of them your experience shows you can do a job, certification shows that you are qualified to do it, your skills will keep you on the job and your degree will move you to the top. |

Here we are only interested being reactive. It is only when it happens, we'd say at least we have reacted better than the past administration. We can never be proactive, we can never have Asset evaluation and inspection team. We would never see dilapidated structures except when they fail in service. It is unfortunate that our so called government doesn't have eyes, ears or nose to perceive an encroaching disaster. If it fails in future, do nothing, just blame a political party. |
Literature › Re: How Much Can Writing A Secondary School Textbook Fetch Me? by Crankshaft: 8:09am On Mar 21, 2018 |
YOLO1: I have been teaching secondary school students and undergraduates physics and mathematics up to a decade now. Sincerely, I am so gifted in teaching and I have helped several average students have distinctions in both physics and maths. Alot of my students have come back to appreciate me and my tutorials have been recommended to their friends and family. Presently thinking of writing a self-explanatory textbook on both physics and maths basically for secondary school students. Want to know how authors make their money and how much am likely to make from the sales of these books. Thanks There are two things involved here; either you are looking for a quick way of making it or a lifetime prospect. I've been in the classroom teaching Mathematics, Physics, and Further Mathematics for about 3 years in different schools both morning, evening and weekends whilst I was still in the nip of getting my desired job which I got after 3 years of classroom teaching. I tell you if you want to write, write out of passion. You have to be unique, you have to be relevant, and you have to stand out. A lot of people write just to make some money to sustain themselves some also write to fill the void of understanding a particular topic as discovered through classroom experience. I want to tell you that, through those few years of teaching I was involved in reviewing and recommending some texts (from 30 different authors in Mathematics, 12 for Physics and 5 for Further Mathematics) to be adopted for use in my state secondary schools. Reviewing them you can read the mind of the author and also conclude that, this author is hungry. In our country to be specific, authors make a lot of money if their texts get approved and recommended after reviewing for use in the schools due to the number of copies sold. I know some authors/ publishers buy their way to get them approved. This is a quick way but temporary because if the content is not good you cannot be in the market for more than 3 years. Writing a good book is painstaking; it is not something you rush to do because you want to make it. If you identify the need of the students and the readers and you can make the most difficult subject/ topic looks like a child's play then consider yourself staying in the market forever, and even when you are dead someone can still be making revisions and additions on your behalf. 5 Likes |
