Story that happened to me on a visit to NYC.
I was on the Staten Island ferry.

Him: Hello
Me:   Hi
Him: How are you?
Me:  I am Fine Thank You. And You?
Him: So do you live on the Island.
Me:  No, just visiting

(As you can see, so far nothing strange, just chit chatting)

Him: My name is Prince Somebody Somebody. (Can't remember the name)
Me:  Prince, that is an unusual first name.
Him: Prince is not my first name, it is a title, and my father is a king.

Any way, to cut this boring dialogue short, he went on to say, that is father is king of Nigeria( from the name he gave me, I already know where he was from and of course the accent) and that because of the political unrest in the country his father is in exile in London.(Blah, Blah Blah).
Then he asked me out, stating that he will treat me like a princess and that money is no object, because he can get anything he wants from his father, all he has to do is ask him.

In my mind I am laughing like crazy, trying to see where this story will end.

He just continued saying that he will threat me well has no other man has.

I had to interrupt him and told him that if he goes begging to Daddy for money, he is no man and that by the way my name is Kemi and I'm a princess therefore we must be related.
FamilyRe: Does Mixed Religion Marriage Work? by crave(f): 4:33pm On Apr 26, 2006
Mixed marriages can work, as long as a discussion is had before the wedding, so everyone knows what to expect. My sister is married to a Muslim, and before they got married, they decided that any children they have will be raised Muslim. As of now the kids are exposed to both religion.

How come whenever a married man cheats on his wife, the first thing we do is to put the blame on the woman.

All I know is that, if their relationship started during the filming of Mr and Mrs Smith, Brad should have remembered his marriage vows to forsake all others.

Therefore, Angelina is not 100% guilty. I'll say the ratio is 40% Angelina and 60%Brad.

LiteratureRe: What Nigerian Books Are You Reading? by crave(f): 10:33pm On Mar 16, 2006
I left Nigeria as a Kid,  and I went back for a visit for the first time in 17years last year.
When I got back, I picked up Purple Hibiscus and I could just feel and imagine what she was writing. I really enjoyed it. I think my visit help me to appreciate the book more. My Non-Nigeria friend(the one that actually told me about the book) also liked it.
