Goke7: I just hope the guys tearing the Eagles apart here will not find it difficult to eat their words when the eagles begin to excel. The X-factor in that team is that they are not easy to predict especially the players.

whoever believed that Mikel could score such a wonderful goal last Saturday!

The Confederation's cup is still what people are using to judge the eagles [despite the absence of onazi, moses and Emenike].

The combination of onazi, mikel and Igiebor can give serious headaches to the best of midfield combination on earth.

why? they play in the best of leagues in Europe; Italy, England and Spain.
we all want the super eagles to do well, but a realistic target should be the quarter finals.

"Confirmation from Manchester United that three men who reportedly attempted to negotiate a deal to sign Athletic Bilboa midfielder Ander Herrera were not acting on behalf of the Premier League champions and were, for want of another word, imposters.

"Reports in Spain claim three men dressed in black suits and claiming to be United "representatives" spent an hour at the La Liga offices attempting to negotiate a deal. The move collapsed at the 11th hour." shocked shocked shocked

Revealed: How Arsenal & Real Madrid outwitted Tottenham to seal Mesut Ozil deal

Goal can reveal how the Gunners kept the move for the brilliant German playmaker shrouded in such secrecy that he visited the club's London Colney training headquarters last week to undergo the first phase of his medical and pose for official media photographs - all in a bid not to alert rivals Tottenham to his potential arrival at the Emirates Stadium.

OZIL ON HIS ARSENAL MOVE

"I look with pride on three wonderful years at Real Madrid back in which I've developed athletic and human. We got three titles and I was a regular., But now I look forward to my future in the Premier League with Arsenal," he told the club's official website.

"In talks with Arsene Wenger, I immediately sensed what has been missing me last. This wholly-owned trust I will pay back the club and the fans in each game. Now I want to help the club to finally win a title."

MORE FROM MESUT
Mesut Ozil
And here is word from the man himself, Mesut Ozil.

Taking to his Facebook account, the new Arsenal signing says: "Dear fans of Real Madrid. Thank you very much for three wonderful years with all of you.

"My time at Real Madrid was unique and special for me.

"Sometimes things develop differently, than I would have expected them to a few days ago. Although I'm leaving Real Madrid, I wish you and the team the very best for the future.

"Now, I'm looking forward to my new club: THE GUNNERS!

"Some bizarre reports coming out regarding United's collapsed Herrera deal. Apparently a group of men claiming to be United representatives spent an hour at the La Liga offices in Madrid today, but it turns out they had nothing to do with the club and were presumably just attempting to get a cut of the deal in an elaborate fraud.

"Must be stressed these are just rumours but the Spanish media have published pictures of men in black suits - supposedly the United "representatives" - coming out of the league offices carrying briefcases.

"All very strange and no doubt the truth will come out in the next few days
