PoliticsEhi Ekhator: Buhari Is Innocent; Nigerians Are Unfair To The President by crazynation(op):
If you conclude this article by the heading, you are one of the Nigeria's problems

As a child, I believed in one thing or the other, I had confidence in Father Christmas, Tooth Fairy who might supplant my teeth with a few coins. At once, I was made to trust that if I tossed my tooth on the rooftop, another would develop in its place overnight. It was a ritual you needed to perform to make certain that your mouth would not stay empty for the fallen tooth.

Nigerian Politicians understand the power of making empty promises. The desperate citizens who are hopeful despite several failed promises by previous politicians would still believe in the possibility of its fulfillment.

President Muhammadu Buhari came into power through his life changing campaign promises. Our desperate selves wanted the former President, Goodluck Jonathan ousted by all means, we just couldn't wait to start enjoying the administrations and all the goodies that it came with.. We deserve better, we thought, well, we actually do.

As the Santa Clau story, as we grew up, we understood that everything our parents enlightened us regarding Father Christmas that had sent us a few Christmas presents was a lie. He never existed; he was a fabrication of our creative impulses planted by our parents to make the end of year festivity all the more fascinating. We never had the mettle to challenge our parents for misleading us greatly, rather we plant a similar story in the psyches of our own kids. Along these lines, the phony story goes from age to age.

In Nigeria, the promises we were made to accept was conceivable was an illusion of our creative ability. It has turned out, similar to each different issues in Nigeria right now, the leader of the All Progressives Congress, the President of the Nigerian Federation, the Santa Claus of our time, was never aware of the circulated 100 campaign promises made for his benefit or made himself before the nation and on National Television. I figure this clarified the hypothesis that Buhari is experiencing diminishing versatility.

It was amazing to see one of the President's paid craftsmen, Mr. Femi Adesina to unveil to Nigerians that Buhari was uninformed of the crusade promises made to Nigerians.

The Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress, APC Bolaji Abdullahi, and the Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Adesina, who were visitors on AIT's Thursday's edition of ‘Focus Nigeria’, revealed to Nigerians that a man, without specifying who the man was, brought a list of 100 campaign promises for Buhari, which he asserted was later released to the Press while the leaders were contemplating it.

Abdullahi who was the Deputy Director in Buhari's Presidential Campaign Team asserted that the party was not in support of the possibility that government officials couldn't travel to another country for medical attention as it was the number one campaign promise on the list.

“I was the Deputy Director of the Policy Directorate of the Campaign, I was there from the beginning to the end”, Abdullahi said.

“So many people came to join the group, some from even outside the country. Then one day, we were in a meeting, then one gentleman who heads one of the international NGOs in the country, brought this list of 100 items that he was proposing that we should push out as the promise of Mr. President to Nigerians.

“I recall that Number 1 on that list, was to make the President say that, ‘when I become President, I will not travel abroad for medical treatment’.
“And I remember we rejected that immediately, because we said we did not know what this man was dealing with, we did not know who his Doctors had been, how could we say this for him?

“But do you know what happened? One of us in the group just released the document.”

The President's spokesman, Adesina affirmed Abdulahi's position that Buhari just knew about the 100 campaign promises after he was appointed and the President was shocked. He asserted that many groups made promises in the interest of Buhari amid the fight for the most noteworthy office in the country.

Adesina said "I can confirm that even the President himself, who was a candidate then, was not aware”,

“The very week I resumed this assignment, I raised some things with the President. I said this and this and this were promised, and the President said, ‘when did I promise these things?’

“I said there is a document titled ‘100 things Buhari will do in 100 days’. He never knew about that document. He had to ask people to fetch that document for him, and it was the first time he was seeing it.

“So there were promises that people made during the campaign on his behalf.”

All things considered, Adesina isn't the first to reprove the campaign. On August 28, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu who was then, the Director of Media and Communications in that campaign took a similar position.

“There is a certain document tagged ‘One Hundred Things Buhari Will Do in 100 Days’ and the other, ‘My Covenant With Nigerians’. Both pamphlets bore the authorized party logo but as the Director of Media and Communications in that campaign, I did not fund or authorize any of those. I can equally bet my last kobo that candidate Buhari did not see or authorize those publications.

“As a consequence of these publications, expectations have been raised unreasonably, that as President, Muhammadu Buhari will wave his hand and all the problems that the country faces- insecurity, corruption, unemployment, poor infrastructure – would go away.” He said.
The prominent known Presidential Liar, the Minister of Information who was then the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress Alhaji Lai Mohammed, during an interview on Channels TV additionally stressed that Buhari didn't know about the 100 promises made to Nigerians.

“Buhari never promised to do anything in 100 days, that’s the honest truth,” Mr. Mohammed. “You see, when you are running a campaign, all kinds of literature will emerge from all sorts of groups but there are only two documents that you can judge a party with: That is the constitution of the party and the manifesto of the party.

“Those are the only two documents that are registered with the Independent National Electoral Commission; you can go to court or hold a party accountable for them.”

I stumbled upon a post by a Nigerian (author unkonwn) about what President Buhari didn't know about in his administration, it down on me that from the beginning, the President has not known about numerous things.

The author posted the below, which was circulated on social media:

Maina was reinstated.
Buhari is not aware.
$26b NNPC contract was signed without approval.

Few days after the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari raised a caution over the poor condition of the Aso Rock Clinic, Nigerians responded with assails, communicating their failure on the President. The following day, the President's daughter who had before approached the Permanent Secretary of the state on the poor state of the clinic notwithstanding the N3.2 billion allotment, defended her father.

In her own particular discourse, her dad can't screen everything, he can't be all over, in this manner, and she alleged her dad didn't know about the decays under his nose.

Zahra said “I was insulted a lot about the hospital thing and I have to tell you that I laughed at a lot of them and was really sad at a lot of them because it really made me understand that a lot of Nigerians are not as educated as I thought.

“Many people were saying that I should ask my father, I should tell him. The thing is that many people are appointed at different stages and they make sure that whatever they are in charge of works out well and they monitor properly.

“So, the president can’t be at every point. He can’t be monitoring everyone’s post. It is impossible. It is literally impossible. So there are some things happening now to help with the state house hospital.”

Then it came to the last controversial issue a former Chairman of the Pension Reforms Commission, Mallam Abdulrasheed Maina who was reinstated into the service through the backdoor. Maina had been on the run since 2012 under the previous administration, after his warrant of arrest was issued.

Maina had been blamed for stealing pensioners money running into billions of naira and is at present under investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Maina all of a sudden returned with some mouth watering pay. He was elevated to the position of a Director without the knowledge of Nigerians. The minute the scam spilled into the general public, the President quickly charged the HoS to research the conditions that encompassed the arrival of Maina to the civil service, after he had fired him to save face.

But in a perplexing turnaround, a memo written by the same HoS to the President on the situation of Maina's reinstatement leaked to the media. It turned out that President Muhammadu Buhari was aware of the reinstatement afterall. The family of the embattled former chairman also came to the media to burst the bubble, disclosing that Buhari led government begged Maina to work for Change Agenda.
It was ludicrous to request that the HoS research what the President was at that point mindful about, gee golly, he didn't know!. The steady claim of honesty demonstrated that the President has lost hold of his government. It has additionally demonstrated that there is contrast between military government and democracy.

At the time it down on the President that he was losing grip, the bill entitled, “Emergency Economy Stabilization Bill 2016”, was proposed. The bill was to secure emergency powers aimed at addressing the nation’s economic crisis The bill was a flag that the President was concerned that his employees which took him six months to appoint after assumption of office, were inconsistent. He required the power that would swing him to the 1983 Military Head of State with the goal that he could turn Nigeria to Big Dubai over night. All things considered, the President may have known about the intrigues even his wife had disclosed existed. No, he doesn't know!

A few legislators who talked on the issue at that point promised to stop the bill as it would return Nigeria to the stone time of military period. As per them, if the bill is passed as proposed, the president will bit by bit change himself into a tyrant and step Nigeria back to the way of military control, which it left 17 years ago.

They said without the so-called emergency powers available to him, Buhari has kept on stomping on the power of the lawmaking body, clarifying that if given further powers, he would pretty much lessen the National Assembly to an elastic stamp like the sorts of governing body that exist in China and Russia.

Buhari didn't know how the cash spent on his campaign came to the coffers, he told Nigerians he was excessively poor, making it impossible to purchase the Presidential form and abruptly, the cash came.. He didn't know.. At that point billions of dollars including the one paid to hire the American government official that helped the government with strategies can't be traced to the President as HE WAS NOT AWARE.

The President last awareness was in 1985, he was silent on national issues until the federal government descended on the terrorist group, Boko Haram. He was oblivious of what happened between 1983-2003, when he first contested.

So, i can categorically say that President Buhari is innocent. Just like the poor Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy who are not aware of our parents’ deceit, Buhari is not aware of what's happening in his administration. Or is he? When will he be aware?

Similarly, two days ago, Ace musician, Mr. Osayomore Joseph was abducted on his way to his home while his wife sustained an injury to the head.

On Wednesday evening, Prof. Paul Otasowie of the Engineering Department, University of Benin was killed by gunmen in what an eye witness described as failed kidnapping attempt.

“The incident is cult related. There was a distress call that came to the station around 20:46hrs that there was a sporadic shooting Off Siluko road.

“They traced the lecturer to his house, and as he was highlighting from his car, they shot him and nothing was taken from him. Our men swung into action, three of the suspects were arrested and the vehicle they used have been recovered.”

On whether he was a cultist or not, Nkombe said “We cannot say he is a cultist until our investigation is concluded”.

PoliticsBuhari Vs Biafrans: The Unending War by crazynation(op):
By Ehi Ekhator

The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari's Independence proclamation has drawn out his shrouded long loathe for the South East.

Clearly the President had not, since he accepted office, shrouded his despise for the Igbos who, after Buhari's administration assumed office, heightened that weep for self-actualization.

The President, amid his Independence speech on October 1, reminded Nigerians that he played a critical part in the killings of a large number of Igbos during the Biafra war in 1967.

Before the Presidential race, Buhari guaranteed to be a leader to everybody and nobody, thus the well known quote "i belong to everybody and i belong to nobody" however the non-verbal communication of the President has kept on mirroring the inverse of his articulations.

In spite of the part Buhari played in the slaughtering of more than 2m igbos during the Biafra war, one would have believed that after numerous years, the President would have put it behind and forge an understanding with the South-East who were so terrified of his rise as the President.

The igbos came together knowing completely well the sort of man Muhammadu Buhari was during the war, they voted in favor of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in the 2015 General race in spite of his across the board theories that his administration was overwhelmed in mass corruption.

Buhari was expecting the igbos who didn't warm up to him over his announcement during the election that he is no longer  a military General yet a regular citizen, how could they? The anger restored the minute they knew about the man coming into power, they knew he is a chameleon, a northerner first before a Nigerian.

Be that as it may, their plan fizzled when Jonathan yielded defeat, at that point they turn to Plan B, which was to intensify breakaway from Nigeria before history rehash itself.

The meeting amid one of his visits in the United States, Buhari said “constituencies that gave me 97% cannot in all honesty be treated equally, on some issues, with constituencies that gave me 5 %, I think these are political realities, while certainly there will be justice for everybody, everybody will get his constitutional rights, but while the party in constituencies that by their sheer hard work they made sure that
they got their people to vote and to ensure their votes count, they must feel that the government has appreciated the effort they put in putting the government in place. I see this as really fair.”

It was no news that during the presidential race, the Igbos enormously voted in favor of Jonathan and clearly however Buhari didn't specify any locale, he was alluding toward the South-East and many parts of South-South that needed him ousted for the fourth time. As unforgiving as he may be, he couldn't shroud his outrage when it achieved the ideal opportunity for federal appointment.

The igbos felt less imperative contrasted with the way they had been, the treatment exacerbated, the fulani herders attacked their communities slaughtering their spouses and children, in addition to obliterating their farmlands. The frightful Igbos discovered comfort in Jobless Nnamdi Kanu in light of his guts to use his Radio Biafra station to thrash the administration.

The 5% explanation spread through the north and gave the Igbos motivations to be on a lookout. While the northerners follow up on the "second rate" Igbos, the Biafrans expanded their cry to secede maybe for the dread of what they see might come to them.

At the point when Buhari came back from his 103 days UK enjoyment excursion, as opposed to calm the region down, he connected his standard style of power by sending dread through the nerves of the fomenters to cease or face the decays. It didn't jump out at the President who alluded to himself a popularity based President that calling them to the table could put a clearer picture to the current issue.

Of recent, the previous President of Nigeria, Mr. Olusegun Obasanjo likewise approached Buhari to call Nnamdi Kanu to the table for a discourse yet up until now, Buhari has overlooked the calls, in the interim more instigators have risen as the call for restructuring is choking out the country.

The whereabouts of the purported leader of the Biafrans, Nnamdi Kanu is yet to be known since Buhari gave the order to attack their states and close the Biafrans down. Many individuals were attacked while reports showed that individuals were slaughtered. In spite of the news, Buhari did not denounce the infringement of Human rights as observed on the video spread on the web-based social networking, rather the President continues sending warnings as observed on his Independence day discourse.

Recently, Buhari uncovered that the call for restructuring has been hijacked by Biafrans, assaulting the group leaders for not calling their kins to order before he propelled strikes.

"Recent calls on re-structuring, quite proper in a legitimate debate, has let in highly irresponsible groups to call for the dismemberment of the country. We can not and we will not allow such advocacy."

Buhari unwittingly unveiled that he was a piece of the officers who executed more than 2m Biafrans.

"As a young Army Officer, I took part from the beginning to the end in our tragic civil war costing about 2m lives, resulting in fearful destruction and untold suffering. Those who are agitating for a re-run were not born by 1967 and have no idea of the horrendous consequences of the civil conflict which we went through.

I am very disappointed that responsible leaders of these communities do not warn their hot-headed youths what the country went through. Those who were there should tell those who were not there, the consequences of such folly."

How could the Biafrans grasp a man who played a part in the murdering of their sons and daughters? How could they assume that he couldn't do it once more? How could they have acknowledged him as their President when huge numbers of the igbos who saw the war are still alive?

A sensible man would have understood this and stretch out a hand of peace to the locale yet rather and of course, practically rehashed the episode of 1967-1970. Buhari isn't apprehensive about getting his hands filthy alongside his gathering of fan he offered appointment to.

Nigeria isn't a long way from breaking, Biafra is the start, the war between the President and Biafra is unending as the so called Democratic President has refused to realized his mistake.  If there is no restructuring soon, the MidWest Movement, Oduduwa Republic and others may agitation may progress to recession.

PoliticsStakeholders Kick As New Vacancy Open For Rectorship Position In Auchi Poly by crazynation(op): 9:10pm On Sep 28, 2017
Some concerned stakeholders at Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi in Edo State have reacted to the recent advertisement placed for the position of Rectorship  at the institution.

The stakeholders complained that the recent advisement was unnecessary as the previous successful interview was yet to produce a substantial rector for the school.

It could be recalled that NAIJA CENTER NEWS published an exclusive investigation concerning the way the current Acting Rector, Dr Sanusi Jimah was appointed.

The report had revealed that the current Acting Rector wasn't qualified for the office, and after the interview, his name came on the 14th position.

To the amazement of everyone in Auchi Polytechnic, on March 20, 2017, Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah, one of the applicants who was not initially shortlisted, but who attended the interview, was given a letter of appointment as Acting Rector with effect from February 20, 2017.

Read More: https://www.naijacenter.com/education/appointment-dr-jimah-acting-rector-of-auchi-polytechnics-fraudulent-aggrieved-applicants/

"This was a surprise to all and sundry. It was more so because there was an Acting Rector who had not been found wanting and information available in the public domain then, soon after the interview, was that Dr. Sanusi Momodh Jimah was not among the first three successful candidates.

"Another cause for concern about the appointment was that contrary to all known procedures, the appointment letter was signed by the Executive Secretary, National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) who was a member of the interview panel. Besides, a deputy rector (Admin) was in place to act or take over if the former acting rector was found wanting.

"It must be pointed out here that in the affairs of polytechnics in Nigeria, the NBTE does not dabble into appointments and discipline of staff, but is concerned with regulating academic standards. Auchi Polytechnic happens to be the first polytechnic in Nigeria where the Executive Secretary, NBTE issues an appointment letter to an Acting Rector to replace another Acting Rector. This appears to us rather absurd."

Some of the aggrieved applicants who disclosed the details to NAIJA CENTER NEWS claimed an Esan man was qualified to act according to the school rules but the community had frowned at a non-indigene heading the institution.

How The Previous Interview was Conducted

As soon as the rectorship position was declared vacant vide an advertisement in a national daily of November 18, 2015  a machinery was set up in motion to ensure that all processes were followed in the appointment of a substantive rector.

According to one of the stakeholder, "these processes include the constitution of a search team, screening committee, conduct of an interview for duly screened candidates. This is as it is in all Federal Polytechnics. When screening was done and qualified candidates were shortlisted, interview was eagerly being awaited when suddenly the shortlisted candidates were informed that owing to a petition by a deficient applicant who was not shortlisted, an interview could not hold.

"That applicant happens to be Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah. No one knew the grounds of his petition immediately.Perhaps in order to ensure a thorough and transparent exercise in the appointment of a substantive Rector, the Federal Government decided to invite all applicants for interview at Abuja instead of the institution where the vacancy exists as has always been the case. A high-powered panel of interviewers comprising Nigerians of proven integrity was consequently put in place.

"This comprised: Dr. Folasade Esan – Permanent Secretary – Chairman2. Dr. Masa’ Ud Kazuaure, E/S, NBTE – Member 3. Director, Tertiary Education, FME – Member 4. Rep. Federal Character Commission – Member5. Two serving Rectors – Members6. Mr. V. Okhani, Rep. Acad. Board, Auchi Polytechnic – Member 7. Barrister Austin Ainabor, Rep. Acad. Board Auchi Polytechnic “  8. Dr. (Mrs.) M. Aashikpelokhai, Registrar, Auchi Poly – Secretary

These eminent men and women eventually conducted an interview on 13th July, 2016 with every worker in the Polytechnic hoping that within three months, at the most, a substantive Rector would be announced for the institution the way it was done for Federal Polytechnics at Offa, Kwara State; Ekowe in Bayelsa State and Kazaure in Jigawa State. May we point out here that a total of twenty-four applicants were interviewed on that day including a Lecturer III who had not even spent up to five years in the system. This, we learnt was to prevent any other room for frivolous petition again.

"After the interview, as is customary, names of the first three successful candidates are usually forwarded to the appropriate quarters which then makes a selection from the list. This, we also learnt, was duly complied with.

SITUATION IN AUCHI POLYTECHNIC FROM FEBRUARY 2016 TO MARCH 2017

As soon as Engr. Jafaru Buraimoh assumed duty as Acting Rector in February 2016, in what appeared to be a well-organized and sponsored protest, the three workers’ unions on campus came together to form a Joint Action Congress (JAC) and threw the school into chaos. In an unprecedented manner, they went on the rampage and wantonly destroyed properties of the Polytechnic and individuals. We were to learn later that the actions of the three unions were in protest against the “incompetence of Engr. Jafaru Buraimoh and the management of the Polytechnic”.

Among their 24-point demand were:
Appointment of a substantive Rector; Removal of the Registrar and the Bursar of the Polytechnic, Implementation of CONTISS 15 migration of those below CONTISS 11; Payment of deducted but unremitted check-offs for staff welfare schemes and Unions’ dues amounting to more than N1billion. (See attached photocopy).

As the destruction that accompanied the protest were massive and unprecedented in the history of trade unions’ disputes which always end up at the worst in picketing, the police came in and some arrests were promptly made. After diligent investigation, some culprits were charged to court on criminal charges in December 2016. In January 2017 when Engr. Jafaru Buraimoh was to serve the culprits letters of interdiction in accordance with civil and public service regulations, the unions closed down the school and would not allow anybody including deans and heads of department into the campus. This situation persisted until March 2017 when the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) appointed Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah as another acting Rector to replace Engr. Jafaru Buraimoh who had neither been queried nor found wanting in any way. This is a clear case of absurdity which will shock any right-thinking Nigerian. This is because the result of the interview for the appointment of a substantive rector was still and is still being awaited.

SITUATION IN AUCHI POLYTECHNIC FROM MARCH 2017 TILL DATE

As soon as Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah was given a letter of appointment as Acting Rector in March (but backdated to February 20, 2017), the three unions called off their strike and returned to work immediately (See attached bulletin). It was like the fire brigade attacking a fire. Against peoples’ expectation that the perpetrators of criminal activities who were charged to court would be served their pending letters of interdiction, Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah proceeded to compensate them with appointments as deans, directors or heads of department (see attached Polytechnic bulletin). People then began to rationalize that this might actually be the man behind the mask. In fact, his actions and inactions since assumption of duty as Acting Rector in March have proved clearly that he has been the sponsor and mastermind of the protests of last year for his selfish and ethnic interests, never before witnessed in any federal institution. Let us expatiate.

On assumption of duty in March, he appointed Dr. Victor Dibua the Chairman of a screening committee to fish out the ghost workers allegedly employed by Dr. (Mrs.) Philipa Idogho, the immediate past Rector. For two weeks Dr. Dibua subjected the entire populace to a show of presentation of credentials after spending hours queuing up. To the disgust of all, the only ghosts found were Dr. Victor Dibua (Chairman) himself and Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah. No other ghost was detected and nothing happened to those detected.

After the futile exercise, the acting Rector proceeded to dissolve the entire management of the School of Evening Studies (SES) without caring whether the officers had completed their stipulated tenures or not. In their places, he appointed Dr. Shaibu Alasa as dean and Mr. Abdulganiyu Braimah as his assistant – persons facing criminal charges in a court of law here in Auchi (see attached charge sheet). Not only that, Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah went ahead to lay off all academic staff of the Polytechnic who hitherto were teaching in the evening programme and replaced them with outsiders.

When challenged on this, he boasted that as no one can challenge the NBTE that breached all regulations to appoint him an acting Rector from the applicants to replace an acting Rector Engr. Jafaru Buraimoh, no one can challenge him as he was free to run the institution the way he likes. Not wanting to be seen as too high-handed, he decided to recall very few of the academic staff to be teaching in the School of Evening Studies (SES) while the bulk of the handlers of the courses in the programme are outsiders with little or no experience. We were later to learn that these outsiders were the ones who were drafted in to escalate the protests of last year and that the appointments were what was promised them. Is it not absurd that whereas one of the criteria for mounting a part-time programme is that the academic staff on ground must be sufficient to cope with the demands of the programme before hiring outsiders, if at all, today outsiders are being hired while regular academic staff are being laid off?

Most painful of all is the crude directive to the now management of the School of Evening Studies (SES) not to pay all outstanding allowances – teaching, marking, invigilation – owed to lecturers and other staff of SES who he laid off.

In an apparent display of ignorance of rules and regulations governing institutions of higher learning, Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah has turned Auchi Polytechnic to a private community institution. He claims that he derives his powers and authority from the palace and nowhere else. Queries and panels at the flimsiest excuse are now the order of the day. It will surprise many to learn that the queries issued in Auchi Polytechnic since March 2017 far outnumber those issued from 2008 to 2016, if any was issued at all. From the Department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering to the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Departments of Languages, Statistics, queries are issued on a weekly basis to chief lecturers who Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah perceives as enemies who must be rubbished. Not even during the reign of Field Marshal Idi Amin Dada of Uganda in 1980s were things as horrible. It is simply absurd.

Up to this moment of writing, all allegations of financial impropriety leveled against the outgone Rector by the three workers unions on campus, on the instigation of Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah, the man behind the mask, still remain unproved in spite of the numerous panels that the acting Rector has constituted and reconstituted. Rather strangely, it is the acting Rector who had to return hurriedly, a 250 KVA generator which he removed and converted to personal use on his assumption of office. Following the dust that the unlawful removal raised, he was forced to return it to where he had earlier removed it after having it vandalized.

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) of this Chapter is Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah’s contraption. The case is pending at the Industrial Court in Abuja. The chairman of the group Egnr Justin Momodu is appointed the Director of SIWES and the Secretary Abdulganiyu Braimah is appointed Assistant Dean of the School of Evening Studies, all in the bid to ensure that they do his bidding. Even the chairman of the Senior Staff Association Nigeria Polytechnics, (SSANIP) Auchi Chapter, Mr. Godwin Ikhide is seconded to the Central Stores from Polymer Department as compensation for his role in the crisis of last year.

Dr Sanusi Momodu Jimah boasts that he has conquered Auchi Polytechnic since he has the unions, the palace, the towns’ folks and even market men and women in the town behind him. True to this, he arrests people arbitrarily. The case of Godwin Oyathelemi arrested and taken to the State CID Benin is still fresh. People dare not be seen gathered in twos and threes today on campus or they will be arrested and arraigned before the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee (SSDC), which promptly tries and recommends their sack to the Council. Some cases are currently awaiting the Council’s ratification.

Events in Auchi Polytechnic since February 2016 when Dr (Mrs) Philip O. Idogho bowed out of the institution as rector after eight very eventful and successful years leave no one in doubt that the institution has tumbled from grace to grass. Its shiny, bright and brittle image built during the past eight years has been shattered and might prove difficult to mend in the near future.

Perhaps this is why the authorities of the institution decided to re-advertise the vacant position in The Guardian of August 25, 2017. We have, therefore, set out, as concerned stakeholders and insiders in the institution, to chronicle the sad and ugly events in the school since the exit of the last rector and to state that the recent advertisement if anything at all, provides a clear case study in absurdities which has further dealt a dangerous blow on the bruised and battered image of Auchi Polytechnic. It is our candid opinion that it ought not to be produced at all in the first place as it is rather a test of the patience of the disciplined workforce of the place/polytechnic. It sends out bad signals that merit consideration is no longer relevant in the affairs of Auchi Polytechnic that until recently has been known as a foremost centre of excellence both in academics and other fields of human endeavour. Above all, it reminds people of the ugly June 12, 1993 annulment of the freest and fairest election ever in the history of Nigeria. May we expatiate.

The lies of the present administration head by President Muhammadu Buhari is obvious to the point that it could influence the deaf to hear and the imbecilic to talk. It is so horrifying to the point that everybody is spurned by it.

Despite the fact that it's not surprisings as the administration arrived at their present position through various falsehoods, Nigerians have never had it this awful.

Those days, father would discipline their children for lying, however with fathers assumed control over the Association of falsehoods just to snatch a bit of the national cake, it is troublesome of what their children can do.

Since we live in a nation where notoriety is history, trustworthiness is sold into servitude and straightforwardness is for the dolts, the present administration has exploited the artlessness of Nigerians to harvest their sense of reasoning.

The trending topic is the President's arrival to the nation. Buhari returned on the twentieth of August after spending 103 days in the United Kingdom doing nothing but having meals with companions, taking motion photographs and splitting ribs on how furious Nigerians are over his nonappearance.

Indeed, It is difficult to state he was there for therapeutic consideration as his party members and presidency disclosed to the people that he was just there on the instruction of his medical specialists. The governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha in a meeting revealed to Nigerians that Buhari was not debilitated. He said he was just taking vitamin tablets on the direction of his specialist which was in opposition to Buhari's own particular proclamation when he said "I have never been this sick in my life".

During an interview, Okorocha said “All I can say is that Mr President is in good health, he is not on life support and he will soon be back. And he is not in the hospital. I was thinking I was going to see him in the hospital, but he is not even in the hospital. He was at home relaxing and having a good time.”

He said, “When I made enquiries as to why he is still waiting, why he is still not back home, all I got as an answer is that he is just taking some vitamins to increase his appetite to regain his lost weight."

Clearly, Buhari's liars mean well for the President which implies they are against the whole nation's advance. They are so decided in protecting the President that they overlooked that he is spending the tax prayers' money to take care himself, in this manner, the Nigerian people need to know what they are paying for.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, had asserted they didn't know the genuine status of the President's wellbeing, and Buhari said just his specialist could give him the thumbs up to continue work.

Few days ago, Lai Mohammed, Femi Adesina and a large group of others went to the non sick President in London and upon their arrival, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon. Yakubu Dogara tweeted that Buhari's wellbeing had enhanced incredibly.

“Today we visited His Excellency, President @MBuhari. I am glad that he is doing well. His health has improved tremendously. @NGRPresident”

“I urge all Nigerians to continue to pray and offer thanks to God for answered prayers and for the safe return of Mr. President @MBuhari.” He alleged.

One of the strategies applied by the Presidential schemes to hoodwink Nigerians is to snap Buhari on motion. That is, at whatever point he is requested to do anything in a couple of seconds, a photographer is available to take his photo for Nigerians to be persuaded that he ishale and hearty, meanwhile, they have made sure he is not seen on camera for too long.

Buhari just came back to Nigeria so as to keep away from the humiliation Nigerians practically melted on him at Abuja house in London. Some angry Nigerians took to the front of the Abuja House to dissent his constant remain in London. They pushed him to either resume or resign. On the video, you could hear Nigerians calling him "photograph president" "Remote President" among different names.

The following day, as Buhari saw that unlike Nigeria, the government in the United Kingdom enabled Nigerians to practice their rights to protest, the President gathered his packs and kept running back to Nigeria.

In an attempt to convince Nigerians further that he was doing very well, they arranged a media broadcast which was later found to be pre-recorded. Buhari can't be permitted to remain on cam for long as the real crumbling health status will be uncovered.

Buhari, who telecommuted before he exited for London has come back to his home once more. The senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Shehu Garba revealed to Nigerians that the President's office required remodel due to its devastation by rodents amid the president's long stretch of absence.

"Following the three months period of disuse, rodents have caused a lot of damage to the furniture and the air conditioning units", he said, explaining that it was impossible for his boss to operate from the office in that condition.

The above reason is the most noticeably awful lie in the history. This lie is far more detestable than what Lai Mohammed, the fame Nigerian liar can tell. The lie additionally demonstrated that the Presidency does not have single respect for Nigerians capacity to think since they are known for their gullibility.

It is also funny that whenever there is no room for lies, rats would take the blame. During the Presidential campaign, Buhari claimed he couldn't find his certificate, well, rats were responsible and now that he is sick and looking for another reason to stay at home, the rats once again are blamed for the office devastation.

Femi Adesina, another senior liar in the Presidency goofed on a national TV when he was hit with the subject of "who is paying for President Buhari's medicals". Clearly the representative did no expect such an immediate inquiry which pushed him to a troublesome circumstance. Since Adesina is an agreeable liar, he couldn't design his answer.

Interview below:

Interviewer: Who is paying for his medical treatment?
Adesina: Does it matter?
Interviewer: No no no, that is our President, don't you think we need to know?
Adesina: If he is our President that means he also has access to some things. I do not know who is paying, but as a President, he has a right to be treated by the country.
Interviewer: So Nigeria is paying for his treatment, isn't it?
Adesina: Most likely, i do not know for sure but most likely.

With this conspicuous inquiry and reply, Adesina was all the while attempting to maneuver his way out until the point where he gave in, when he understood the questioner wouldn't give him a chance to utilize his strategies.

It was likewise gathered that 8 aides who were with Buhari in London for 3 months got $1000 every day as their travelling recompenses, which implies that the foreign currency that left Nigeria through Buhari's medical treatment in the United Kingdom was colossal and the Presidency would keep on lying never to answer the amount Buhari has really misused in his own medical problem.

Below are the lists of Presidential liars:

HealthExclusive Interview: The Truth About Edo Central Hospital - Edo Doctor by crazynation(op): 2:42pm On Jul 07, 2017
We have nothing to treat patients

In this interview with NAIJA CENTER NEWS, a doctor at Edo State Central hospital, Mr. Jonathan Amadasun (not real name) opened up on the rots in the health system in Edo State, lackadaisical attitude of the government towards the health system and challenges therewith.

By Ehi Ekhator

Tell me, what is wrong with health system in Edo state and compared to other states, what level is Edo State?

Central Hospital, Edo
Generally, the health sector in Nigeria is really bad. It is nothing to write home about. A situation where you have vibrant medical graduates flying out of the country because of the condition of the health sector starting from lack of employment, where hospitals are deficient of doctors both specialists and normal medical officers, still a lot of doctors are graduating from Universities and they are not employed. There is this issue of there is no money to pay doctors. It is everywhere in the country, federal hospitals are not employing and state hospitals are not employing too.

For Edo State where I work under the health sector, the last time Edo State employed doctors was about five years ago, that is 2012 and since then, no employment has been done. Within this period, many doctors have retired and in an ideal system, as some are retiring, others should be employed.

Outside that, a state where we have over 3,218,332 as population, the doctors under Edo State under hospital management care are not up to 200 and that is to say that the state is over deficient of doctors not because people are no longer reading medicine, a lot of people have graduated from the University but they are not being employed.

In this state where we have less than 200 doctors, some of them are very old and there is nothing like training and retraining doctors. A situation where you employed doctors five years ago and there is nothing on ground to retrain them knowing that medicine is dynamic such that every doctors need to be retrained all the time, these doctors are in the system without a trainer.

Out of the less than 200 doctors, we have no equipment, nothing on ground. The former governor claimed to have built a five stars hospital in the central hospital but this same hospital does not have equipment. He used it as a political campaign that he has given us a five stars hospital.

The purported five stars hospital was built inside a dilapidated hospital such that they took a part of the former hospital and gave a very exterior attractive look, while the whole hospital blocks, are still the way it was 100 years ago where some department is still decked with wood. Like in some units, there is no light if you go there in the night or you happen to have an emergency from 7pm, there is no single light in the whole hospital even some female doctors that work at night have to be very careful not to be robbed or raped at night.

A situation where you have only one bulb on in accident and emergency units and in the same place, there is no single good room for the doctors doing night calls to sleep nor for other nurses and auxiliary nurses to stay. Outside that, there are some department where there is no free flowing water in a hospital where we were taught that our environment should be cleaned.

The kind of odour that comes out of the hospital, you would think the entire hospital is a mortuary because outside the doctors other cleaners that clean the environment, even though they are there, do not have the necessary?

The tax payers are not getting the proper medical attention, they are even meant to pay more for the service rendered. The few doctors are over laboured and they don’t have the necessary equipment. Situations where you have to improvise most of the time to treat patients or you spend your own money or the patience are asked to buy their things and bring to the hospital. Even after all that, they patients are still being charged.

The government is saying treatment is free for the children and elderly but the truth is, no treatment is free in Edo State management board rather you buy your materials and you are still charged. The worst part of this is that these same people we are charging have already paid their taxes.

As for the doctors, we have no motivation. Edo State doctors are the least paid doctors.  Over two years ago, doctors were put on new salary scale but Edo State government refused to pay doctors the exact salary approved by federal government and even now the new one that have been introduced over a year ago, the government is not talking about it. How can medical staff who are not getting paid rightly be motivated?

The doctors who decide to train are meant to use their personal money; they write exams and go for updates. Do you expect that kind of doctor to give all in all for service delivery when he is using his own money and his own equipment in government’s hospital without thank you?

How many months salary does the government owe the staff of the hospital?

Talking about salary, the only money they owe us is one month salary Oshiomhole refused to pay doctors in 2015. He said we went on strike then and he refused to pay, and the present government said it is likely not to pay too.

You talked about salary increased that is yet to be implemented, could you explain that in details and how it affects work efficiency?

So as for salary, we are not being held any but promotion has not been done for the past 8 years. The salary increment that was approved about two years ago, the government is yet to pay Edo state staff and now a new one has been approved last year, they are not even talking about it. Several attempt made by Edo State National Medical Association of Nigeria has tried to approached the government on the new salary scale have proved abortive.

They also talked about skipping which means that a doctor level will be skipped by one level. That is, a doctor on level 13 will be skipped to 14. Other states have started doing it and the workers are being paid their money but nothing is happening in Edo State.

As for the work efficiency, when you are not well paid and motivated, a situation when you are not being sent for training, you are more like an outdated doctor because medicine is dynamic; you are expected to renew your mind and technique or approach for service delivery all the time. A situation where you are not well paid, you don’t have own personal money and the government refused to train and retrain staff for effective service delivery are abandoned, there is no efficiency.

There are a lot of young doctors who have the desire of going into training, the areas in medicine that Edo State don’t have. In Central hospital there is nothing new, we don’t have heart surgeons, no pathologists so we have to send our entire blood sample for investigation to private hospitals, no paediatric surgeon, orthodontist, anaesthesiologist and many others. As big as central hospital we do not have x-ray machine, the ultra sound we have has a certain number of people it takes.

In whole of Edo State, we have only one consultant radiologist, one consultant ENT surgeon, they are over laboured. There are some department that has one consultant, some do not have at all, and there are some department that do not even exist. If a patient want a heart surgery, Edo State does not have anything, we do not have a neurosurgeon. There are many branch of medicine we do not even have the specialty.  If Edo State government could not buy a single x-ray machine, there is a problem.

Oshiomhole built five stars and equipped it or is the reality different?

Talking about the five stars hospital Oshiomhole claimed to have built, there is no single x-ray machine there. How can you build a new hospital inside hospital that existed over 100 years that the blocks and roof are falling off and you did not renovate the new one? The same hospital, exactly the same prototype is being built in his own Village, Iyamoh because Edo State University Iyamoh is starting medical school and that same building has been equipped and the one in the heart of Benin does not have anything.

If at all they open that place, who are the doctors that would work there when those doctors are less than 200 in Edo State and they are not trained? I am a surgeon; I am paying my expensive school fees to a certain University yearly to have myself trained. Outside the fee, i go for seminal, other programs and i am not being paid by the government.  If the government was responsible, i must come back to the government hospitals to stay at least 5yrs to render my service but now i can grab any other better opportunity when it comes?

How can i pay over a N1m of my money and you expect me to be happy? A whole lot of doctors spend their money to train themselves and when they come across opportunity along the way, they forget about Edo State and that is why we are losing doctors every day.

Edo State employed a pathologist 6 years ago but the man got a better job in Oghara, Delta State where they gave him a better office, they made all his equipment available for him and he left Edo State.

Photos of the actual Central Hospital coming soon....

Whose fault is it?

By Ehi Ekhator

Compared to the past, as youths get involved in politics, the political unrest across the globe has spread like a wildfire certainly for the fact that youths are now becoming aware and curious enough to taking parts in what's happening in their lives.

Nigeria, a West African nation with more than 182m populaces, 521 dialects and 36 states isn't left out in the drum of distress prompting a few calls to break.

In 2005, the US anticipated that Nigeria would stop to exist in 2015 in perspective of the threats posed by continued ethno-religious crisis over the years. In 2008, the United States military in May, conducted a war games called "Unified Quest" to test how her country military would respond to a war in parts of Africa with reference to Nigeria.

Divided Nigerian flag
In 2015, the then President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan concede to defeat and handed over power to the now President, Muhammadu Buhari.

Jonathan in his battle for peace astonished the United States government with his choice not to challenge the outcome either lawfully or forcefully in the 2015 general election in spite of a few inconsistencies revealed by the media.

After Buhari was sworn into power, a US based lawyer, Lloyd F Ukwu opined that Nigeria is a beheaded snake with a risky head that can in any case nibble. He put the majority of the issue on the President; Muhammadu Buhari who he said was stoking trouble.

According to Lloyd "Decapitated snake, head still bites Disturbingly, Nigeria is still not completely out of the woods; as it may still break up. The possibility of conflict and dissolution of the country continue to loom because Buhari is stoking trouble. He is actively stirring up issues that can lead to serious national conflicts. Nigeria is a very complex country, and its governance is complicated by tribal, religious and sectional rivalries.

“Buhari is insensitive to this complexity and lacks the finesse and dexterity to govern Nigeria. With a military background and orientation, and a total lack of a liberal education, he is ill-equipped to preside over a democratic Nigeria. He has no refinement, and as such, only understands the language of force. He also does not understand the world order. Recall that he once referred to Germany as Western Germany and Chancellor Angela Merkel as President Michelle. “

Two years after the assumption of the present administration under the political party of the All Progressives Congress, the country is more separated than any other time in recent memory. Everybody is sitting tight for the fence to fall while some are confounded on the direction to run should the most noticeably bad happen.

The current development in the polity, in particular the intrusion of Fulani herders in all aspects of the southern and Christian dominated areas in the north, the activities of militants in the South and the ceaseless attacks of the Islamic Boko Haram sect in a spate of terrorism-like bomb attacks are getting to be noticeably troubling.

The more exasperating one is the possibility that the northern elites are taking control of everything in the nation. Numerous Nigerians are feeling neglected and not carried along. The Indigenous People of Biafra are clamoring for a breakaway as they believed they are least regarded and treated unreasonably by the nation, combined with the long standing division between the north and the east

In a similar call, the south western part of the nation, the Oduduws is additionally requesting its republic. One of its elders in a meeting in March, 2017 uncovered that the locale would welcome the disintegration of Nigeria.

Senior statesman and one of the main voices in south western, Ayo Adebanjo anticipated that Nigeria would soon deteriorate.

He said “We are going for disintegration. That is what i am sorry about. You cannot keep the country together like this. You would continually be suppressing there and suppressing there. The Southern Kaduna affair, the people there shouted against regionalism because of the oppression

“If you look at the agitation of the South South, South east, and they are not even insisting on restructuring; it is restructuring within Nigeria or outside of it. We even understand that some radical Yoruba have drawn the map of the Oduduwa Republic and all that, but we are keeping them down.

“There is an advantage in the economy of scale but we cannot keep them down for too long when we know that they are being cheated. We say those areas that they feel they are being cheated; let us iron it out so that we can stay together. What is wrong with that?

What Adebanjo was alluding to was the deserted confab report. During the previous President's administration, seeing the direction the country was heading, Jonathan called for a National Conference which brought elders of various ethnics under one rooftop to table their grievances.

If the report is implemented, many areas where people are feeling left out would be tended to, but the minute the present administration came in, the north considered the report insignificant, and was pushed aside which made many assumed that the northern elites are not prepared to an end the unfairness in the country, therefore, a call for disintegration.

There is the likelihood that the Niger Delta groups would pitch tents with the Biafrans, another group that are feeling objectified by the northern elites whom they accused had assumed control over their oil blocs. To enlist their grievances, a group called Niger Delta Agengers sprung up, bomb a few oil pipelines until the government assured to involve them in the improvement.

A new Niger Delta group called Rondel Solidarity Movement had approached different groups on the 8 of June to converge with them to actualize Independence for South. The gathering ascribed their purposes behind leaving Nigeria to President Muhammadu Buhari abuse and the control of its area oil well by the north.

The group said “We shall return power to the true owners of the lands, the monarchs, in English-style power sharing between the Royals and the people in a Parliamentary system. we demand Independence for Rondel from Nigeria from 2018.

“Rondel comprise all the six states in the present South-South of Nigeria. Rondel is an acronym derived from the Region of Niger Delta, later Republic of Niger Delta, if the Arewa groups make good their threats.

“Rondel is our name, Rondish will be our Language and Rondland shall be our capital city. Details of these, including the locations of Rondland, shall be in our October 1 book.

“ no inch of Rondel in the six states of Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, Cross River, Edo, and Rivers States shall ever be ceded to any other people or nation for any reason whatsoever and all those people drawing maps up and down are hereby warned to desist forthwith or risk our disproportionate vengeance including present and future social and economic sanctions.

“Our motivation for decision to leave Nigeria are first President Buhari's treatment of our people as 5%, Northerner's nearly exclusive illegal and immoral occupation of our oil wells destroying our ecosystems and the eviction notice by Arewa Youths with tacit support of government and the Arewa leaders.

“That since that treasonable order by Arewa youths, and because no one was arrested, tried and convicted for the high treason, the same matter for which Nnamdi Kalu was imprisoned for about two years, we no longer have faith in one indissoluble Nigeria.”

The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, ACYF, a coalition of social-political organisation in the Northern Nigeria on Tuesday, trying to hush the continually growing Biafran voice, gave a three month ultimatum to the Igbos in the 19 states to vacate or be prepared to be pushed out by compel.

The present call had pulled in responses from various parts of the nation, including the federal government who had called the security agencies to capture those behind the statement.

Howbeit, the police had stated that the force is still in chase of those behind the communique though others believed that, of course, the police have declined to make a move as it concerned the north.

The call for disintegration increased after the President during an interview in the United Kingdom referred to the individuals who didn't vote in favor of him during the Presidential race as 5%. It was apparent that the message was coordinated at the Southerners who turned out in mass to vote in favor of the previous President, Goodluck Jonathan.

To complicate and checkmate the north, a coalition of Niger Delta groups on Friday, the 10 June, 2017 issued an October 1 ultimatum for the northers to leave their region.

The aggrieved militants also asked the federal government to handover all oil blocs controlled by the northern to the people of Niger Delta.

“A coalition of the Niger Delta militants met today in Port Harcourt to review the recent call by the Arewa Youths groups that the Ndigbo should vacate all the Northern states within three months,” it read.

“We demand 100 per cent control of our resources. We demand that the Federal Government should hand over all oil blocs owned by northerners to Niger Delta indigenes. All the companies operating in such oil blocs/wells should vacate within three months.”

“All northern indigenes working in NNPC and any other board that has anything to do with oil/gas should be sacked with immediate effect.

“We demand an independent and sovereign Republic of Niger Delta. We are tired of living with the North under Nigeria. We are tired of the President’s sentiments against the Niger Delta people.

“On October 1, 2017 we shall declare our independence come rain, come shine. We shall take our destiny in our hands and free ourselves from the slavery of the North as they are tired of one Nigeria.

“From October 1, 2017, we don’t want to see any northerner close to (the) Niger Delta; any attempt to penetrate shall meet fierce resistance. This time, we are not going to play defence, but attack.”Cause of increased calls for division

Why now? Why are there many calls for disintegration?

On why there are more calls for division compared to the past, a former governorship aspirant in Edo State, Dr. Pedro Obaseki believed that the current leaders are out of ideas, and expressed worries that Nigeria may actually seize to exist.

Don Pedro Obaseki
“As I read posts online of late, A Heavy Sigh weighs my heart. It's clear: as a nation, We do face an Existential Threat. I talk both as a Nigerian and a Midwesterner/Bendelite.

“Nigeria CAN & WILL WORK but the Rules of Engagement and Terms of Association should reflect contemporary realities. There appears an impending conflagration in the horizon. Nigeria may not remain as it presently is. Things are spiraling out of control. And our present crop of leaders appear to be out ideas! And this is worrisome!

“Every ethnic group is grandstanding and I wonder: whither this sabre-rattlings?! We must salvage Nigeria. But We Must insist on a More equitable NIGERIA. This IS IMPERATIVE. Our Midwest/Bendel people, (EDO & DELTA States) hypothetically, are caught in betwixt!

“But are the Bendel people ready for it? My answer is simple: WE HAVE TO BE! This brings to mind the Results of the Midwest Referendum, 1963. July 18, 1963.

“The total number of eligible voters, being persons whose names appeared in the Federal Electoral register of 1959 was 654,130. Of this number the percentage that voted in the affirmative was 89.07%, well in excess of the required 60% (or 392,478) for the creation of the Mid-West region. The region that was born on August 9, 1963 as a result of the July 13th plebiscite remains the only major administrative unit of Nigeria created by due constitutional process.

“So in preparation towards disintegration if it happens (GOD FORBID), we will stand by the referendum. We won't be Any one's Collateral damage. This ain't 1967!

“BUT WE AIN't PUSHING FOR A DISINTEGRATION. But we ain't anyone's Canon Folder. People are, in near-infantile fervour, clamouring for War! War!! Have they ever wondered what the collateral damage will be. Who's going to be their canon folder? Who will play the FALL GUY? Edo? Delta? The MIDWEST? Never!”

Another eminent Nigerian, a former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-kayode opined that Nigeria will definitely break . He attributed the cause to northern Islam and Fulani herdsmen.

He said “Nigeria will break up. Northern Nigeria has two problems: the Fulani and Islam”

A Human Rights Lawyer and Advocate, Mike Ozekhome believe that the abandonment of the 2014 conference report by the current APC is unfortunate. He opined that the solution to Nigerian current problem were all on the report.

Mike Ozekhome
“I have always been surprised, but of late, bemused, when I hear some people kicking against restructuring. Restructuring is not tantamount to a break-up.

“It is simply an idea designed to address the unnatural imbalance and lopsidedness of Nigeria, which puts her permanently on an explosive keg of gun powder, driven by various centripetal and centrifugal forces.

“We are operating a Unitary System of Government, euphemistically dressed up in the borrowed garb of Federalism.

“Nigeria has recurring mutual distrust and suspicion, ethno-religious crisis, political implosion, unabated violence, insurrection, youth and gender discrimination, unspeakable criminality, simulated peace of the grave yard, fear of the unknown, fear of fear, elite’s collaboration to continuously hold down, by the jugular, in a most asphyxiating manner, the beleaguered hoi polloi and Frantz Fanon’s “Wretched of the Earth”.

“The present agitations for self – determination by various ethnic groups (IPOB, MASSOB, OPC, APC, Niger Deltans, etc); the present crisis of confidence, ethno-religious crisis, Agatu, Herdsmen, Kidnapping, robbery, terrorism, Boko Haram, murderers, Southern Kaduna, hired assassinations, etc, are but symptoms of a larger malaise: lopsided and inequitable system of allocating and distribution of scarce national resources, leading to an eerie feeling of utmost marginalization, suppression, oppression, repression and subjugation.

“The over 600 recommendations of the distinguished Nigerian patriots, men, women and the youth, from all works and strata of life of 2014 National Conference, must be immediately retrieved from the archives where there are gathering dust and spider cobwebs by this government, put on the front burner, and utilized meticulously for the purpose of re-engineering, retooling and reformatting this Nigerian contraption that is still not working.”

The US based Attorney at law Lloyd F Ukwu believed Buhari is responsible for the current division in the state. He described the President as a man who is not vast in handling dynamic Nigeria.

Lloyd F Ukwu
“In my viewpoint, Buhari is insensitive to this complexity and lacks the finesse and dexterity needed to govern Nigeria. With a military background and orientation, and a total lack of a liberal education, he is ill-equipped to preside over a democratic Nigeria. He has no refinement, and as such, only understands the language of force. He also does not understand the world order.

“He wants, at his whims and caprices, to jail southern politicians and his enemies of northern extraction such as Col. Sambo Dasuki for corruption. He wants to rearrange the judiciary, and reconstruct and expand Kirikiri Prison.

“He will then fill the prison with his political enemies, as all those he fingered for corruption will automatically be arrested by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) and jailed for one hundred years or more by a compliant judiciary, dominated by northern judges.

“It is understandable that a president appoints people that he is comfortable with to work with him. But to appoint only his friends and relatives to pivotal positions as the Director Generals of the Directorate of State Security (DSS), Customs and Immigrations and the Chairman of the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) is nepotism.

“Nepotism is corruption. And he insulted the sensibilities of Nigerians by justifying the appointments on the grounds that the appointees are loyal to him as friends and relatives. It is wrong for him to give the impression that only his friends, relatives and others from the northern part of Nigeria are competent, and committed to his vision. In addition, his punishing of those regions of the country that did not vote for him in the presidential election is grossly unfair. It is not only setting a dangerous precedent but inflames ethnic fury.” Lloyd stated.

A former state Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Frank Evbuomwan, commenting described those calling for the division of the country as agents of death and destruction.

“Some people are being seduced that gold and Eldorado lies at the end of the breakup of Nigeria. However, prevalent present greed and mistrust only points to bloodshed and destruction.

"Our development does not lay in how many constituent parts we break up into, but in how we tackle corruption (which is the real problem) and nepotism; and focus our resources into productive ventures.

Nigerians should be wary of these parochial politicians, advocates of division and ethnic jingoists. They are merely agents of death and destruction. They will not hesitate to plunge this nation into crises for their own selfish ends.

Ifaluyi-Isibor
In a swift response, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Engr. Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor, though agreed that greed and mistrust only point to bloodshed and destruction, argued that the north and south are different people with different laws.

He said “Alot of times, in an attempt to sound politically correct, we talk about the "oneness “of Nigeria and why we must remain albeit sustaining the status quo of unequal yoking..

“While I understand that naivety thereof, the truth however stares us in the face on a daily. We are a different people with different laws but in "One country" atleast according to the books.

“Illegal mining in the North is pardonable.Illegal refining in the South is punishable by death.

“Toddlers get registered and vote in the North, but it is electoral malpractice in the South.

The Dean of Law Faculty, Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Prof. Sunday Edeko who was brutalized by the anti-cultist division of the Edo State police command has reacted to the purported apology letter to the force.

The Edo State Commssioner of Police, Haliru Gwandu had refuted the claim that his officers assaulted the professor.

CP Gwandu also read out a letter of apology allegedly written by the Prof. For obstructing the command’s operation.

The Commissioner claimed that the lecturer blocked the police vehicle, demanding to know why the boys were arrested, adding that even though the suspects were neither his relation nor students.

He cleared that the policemen did not in anyways brutalize him as reported.

“This same lecturer was coming from nowhere and he blocked the vehicle of the police, the police did not say anything to him, he said he must know why they were arresting that person. The suspect was not his relation, i doubt if he was even his student but he was exchanging altercation with my policemen. My policemen did not molest him”

On the apology letter, Gwandu reads during a briefing of journalists in Edo State “I write to apologise over the incident that happened in Ekpoma on the 13th March, 2017. I wish to say that it was not my intention at all to obstruct law enforcement being involved in law and order enforcing. Thank you, yours faithfully, Sunday Edeko.”

It could be recalled that when NAIJA CENTER NEWS reported the incident, Edeko had accused the police of forcing him to write both apology letter and a statement, which they instructed must be in their favour.

The Dean complained that his earlier statements were torn and blank sheets were forced into his hand to write a proper letter that would be in the favour of the aggressive and rogue police.

Speaking with NAIJA CENTER NEWS on Tuesday, Edeko sworn to take the police commissioner, CP, Haliru Gwandu to court for the abuse and cover up, adding that the commissioner refused to address the assault on his person.

“ I have always put it there that they beat me up, they compelled me to write to apologise; i did nothing. I have been saying it and i have said it again and again.

“They beat me up with cutlasses and whatever. That letter is the reason I am going after him. He thinks that letter can protect him in court.

“He will need to come to the court and prove that his men did not beat me, I have my witnesses who will testify that they saw them beating me up. So it wasn’t a voluntary letter, it was a letter written under duress

“I am after the beating and the torture. They beat me with cutlass, hammer, cane and everything and I can prove it. That letter will only reinforce that they tortured me to write it”.

NAIJA CENTER NEWS had reported how Edeko was slapped, beaten with cutlass and hammer by some group of rogue policemen in plain clothes, on his way to a mechanic workshop before he was threatened to be charged with cultism, kidnapping and armed robbery on 13th of March.

His wife who went to the station after hearing of her husband arrest was threatened the same way.

Edeko was beaten up for the second time at the police station by a group of rogue police led by ASP Ojo who claimed he and his men are only answerable to the Commissioner of Police.

EducationHow Dr. Jimah Was Fraudulently Appointed As Acting Rector Of Auchi Poly by crazynation(op): 5:38pm On Mar 09, 2017
Prince Tony Momoh masterminds the outcome.
Auchi people wants indigene as next Rector
Dr. Jimah didn’t make shortlist twice

By Ehi Ekhator

A group of Auchi Polytechnic lecturers have reacted to the appointment of the new Acting Rector, Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah, describing the process as fraudulent.

Speaking with NAIJA CENTER NEWS, the lecturers who didn’t want to be named claimed that Dr. Momodu was not qualified and was not shortlisted after the interview.

The aggrieved lecturers accused Prince Tony Momoh, a close friend to the appointed Acting Rector as responsible for the skewing of the outcome.

It was gathered that in November 2015, an advert was placed in a national daily declaring the position of REctor Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi vacant. On the the expiration of the tenure of immediate past Rector, Dr. P. Idogho in February 2016, Engr. J Baraimah (a Deputy Rector Admin and an indegene of Auchi) was appointed to act as Rector pending when a new Rector would be appointed.

It was gathered that Engr Baraimah was not supposed to be the acting Rector but was selected as an indigene instead of the second Deputy Rector who was an Esan man.

It was also gathered that applicants were invited after which, qualified persons where shortlisted. However, after a lot of petitions based on the shortlisting process, an interview was finally conducted for all the applicants (shortlisted and not shortlisted) on the 14th July 2016.

The source claimed that among those who attended the interview were lecturers as low as Lecturer III for a position ordinarily reserved for Chief Lecturer.

The source added ” Against all known procedures, Dr Sanusi Momodu Jimah ( one of those not originally short listed before nor among the five successful/recommended after the interview to the Minister of Education), also a native of Auchi, has now been appointed Acting Rector by the Executive Secretary, National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) Dr. M. Kazaure to take over from Engr. Buraimah (who had acted for a year) after the committee set up to appoint a new Rector have concluded its job and made its recommendations known.

“It is of interest that the said , Dr Sanusi Momodu Jimah who has now been forced on the academic community of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi is not even qualified for the exalted office of Rector as he does not have the basic requirement for such position of Rector. Whereas Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi offers course in Urban and Regional Planning, He has his Masters and PhD in Geography and Regional Planning; a course that is not offered in the polytechnic.

“One of the requirements as advertised was that to be qualified to be short listed at all in the first place, such a candidate must have his Masters and/or PhD in a course that is offered in the Polytechnic. Dr Jimah obviously does not meet this all important Requirement as stated above, he has his Masters and PhD in Geography that is not taught and not Urban and Regional planning that is being taught in Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi.

“This was the very reason why he was not short listed in the first instance. However, as a result of pressures from certain quarters and to accommodate him, the rules were fraudulently bent and all applicants (even a Lecturer III) were invited for the interview. After the interview process, he was again not recommended for appointment obviously because he was found not to be appoint-able by the committee. As a matter of fact, he was rated 14th out of a total number of 24 lecturers that were interview by the panel.

“It is therefore shameful and makes mockery of laid down rules and procedure that an unqualified man be appointed in acting capacity to pave way for a substantive appointment in the nearest future. This is fraudulent and may result in the polytechnic losing her accreditation any time soon should this misnomer be made to stand.

“The arrow head of this fraud and substitution of merit with ethnicity is Prince Tony Momoh. We reject this ethnic based appointment in totality and ask that the recommendations based on the report of the interview be implemented without any further delay to pave way for the appointment of a qualified person. We should not be seen to be encouraging a situation that amounts to sending a very wrong signal to our young students. Ours is an Ivory Towel where merit and not anything short of it should be the major consideration. “

One of the applicants who pleaded anonymity with NAIJA CENTER NEWS due to the sensitivity of the issue confirmed the claims. He said that rather than appointing the first Deputy Rector Admin who was an ESAN man as the Acting Rector as it is usually done, the position was given to Deputy Rector Academics who was an Auchi man on the ground that he was the first to be appointed a chief lecturer.

The applicant said that Auchi Palace cannot be left out of those who influenced the decision to appoint an Auchi man since they had been agitating for an indigene to take over from Dr. P. Idogho.

The source said “The process from the point of advertisement to interview were flawless. The only areas where there were challenges was after the advertisement, people applied and a committee came from the Ministry of Education to shortlist. After the shortlisting, somehow the report of the shortlisting got out and those who were not shortlisted started writing petitions to the Ministry. So Another committee came to shortlist again and it was the same thing the previous committee did, this led to another set of petitions.

“The first shortlisted candidates were seven that were supposed to go for the interview but because of the numerous petition, the Ministry instructed that everybody that applied should go for the interview and that was how twenty four (24) applicants were there.

“After the interview, nothing happened. The man who was there had been on acting basis for a year and when the Staff Union went on strike, one of their demands was that the government should appoint a substantive Rector, but we were shocked that someone who was part of the interview, who didn’t make the shortlisting and had to go for the interview because everybody had to go, all of a sudden received a letter from the National Board Certificate Education in Kaduna that he has been appointed as Acting Rector to take over from another Acting Rector and the two of them are from Auchi.

“If Dr Sanusi Jimah was qualified, I am sure he would have been shortlisted but he was not. The rumour has been on ground that the Auchi people say they want their own people to be the Rector this time, so i wouldn’t distance the palace from it. The name of Prince Tony Momoh has been reoccuring as the mastermind.

“The Issue is that we have two deputy rectors. When the former Rector was through with his tenure, they appointed one of the deputies to act. If the acting one said he was no longer interested, there is another deputy Rector who also did not apply or who applied but no longer interested and didn’t come for the interview. They should have given the Acting Rector to continue in the capacity. But for the fact that the second Deputy Rector is not an Auchi man, that was why they didn’t give him the position. The man is an Esan man.

“In Administration we have two Deputy Rectors: (Deputy Rector Academics and Deputy Rector Admin). The Admin comes first before the academics. Instead of giving the Deputy Rector Admin who is an Esan man, they gave it to the Deputy Rector Academics who is an Auchi man claiming that the Deputy Rector Academics became a chief lecturer before the Deputy Rector Admin.

“The truth is, in administration sector, the Deputy Rector Admin should have taken over. That has been the practice in Nigeria. There is a picture playing out from the scenario.

I am more qualified than other contestants – Acting Rector

However, the Acting Rector, Dr. Sanusi Jimah who spoke with NAIJA CENTER NEWS said that those contesting his emergence are less qualified. He said many of those who applied had been accused of taking monetary bribes and sexually harassing the female students.

Dr. Jimah said that contrary to the claim that he didn’t have the qualification, he has the required qualification and he school and worked in the same institution for the past 23 years of his life.

He said “I have an OND and HND in Urban and Regional Planning. I have a post graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning, i have a Post Graduate Diploma in Technical Education. I have an MBA (A Master of Business Administration). Let me explain further.. A Master of Business Administration means that we offer Business Administration in the Polytechnic, so if i don’t have any other qualification, that qualifies me to the office.

“Let me go further, I have an MSc in Geography and Regional Planning. MSc in two areas means a double major so it means i have MSc in Geography and another in Regional Planning. The same in PhD. I have a PhD in Geography and a PhD in Regional Planning. In Auchi Polytechnic, we offer Urban and Regional Planning. Regional Planning in a core area that makes me very well qualified aside the fact that i have a Master in Business Administration.

“It was cleared to everybody that there were flaws in the selection process and because the government has the final say on who to appoint as an Acting Rector, they chose me. It was the government decision and for the position, i am qualified for it.

“Aside the fact that i have several personal membership and fellowship including that of Town Planner, Environmental Society and several others. The people who are said to be complaining are less qualified if they are asked to submit their CV.

Also Read: Retired soldier butchers wife over plans to marry mistress
“I have about sixty three conference papers i delivered for my credit, and i have about 41 submission in national and international journal. They went through the backdoor and tried to shut me down by all cost.”

On why he was not shortlisted if he had an impressive, the Acting Rector said “The shortlisting was done by a group of persons who didn’t like my face. It was not on the qualification they did not shortlist me, they said some of us did not include our credentials. But we protested that the advert did not say so, the advert said we submit our credentials at the point of interview, so when we complained to the appropriate authority, they set up a panel to checked, came out and discovered it was true. It wasn’t just me, we were more than five that was affected.”

Dr. Jimah dismissed the speculation that the former Acting Rector was appointed based on his ethnicity, adding that it was the sole discretion of the government. He added that the second Deputy Rector applied for the same post but didn’t come for an interview.

He said: “The second Deputy Rector applied but didn’t come for the interview. He refused to come because he was not interested. The appointment of Deputy Rector and Acting Rector does not follow a definite pattern, it is someone who is capable that is appointed.

For some Example where they appoint the Deputy Rector Administration as the Acting Rector, but in this case, they said the most senior Deputy Rector to act. In our ranking, the Deputy Rector Academics is junior to Deputy Rector admin but they went ahead to appoint the Deputy Rector Academics because there is no definite pattern. It is at the prerogative of the government even sometimes, the government in some cases, employ people outside the polytechnic as Acting Rector.

He continued: “The people who are complaining are those who had gone beyond and wanted to be appointed through the backdoor and when it didn’t work out, they fell out. The acting rector is not a matter of competition, the government has the prerogative to appoint anyone.”

The AR also dismissed the speculation that one Prince Tony Momoh masterminded his appointment, he said ” I don’t know who did, i think God almighty did. The truth of the matter is that when you want a political position, you must ask someone to chip in a good word for you, so a position like this is now political. But I have not gone to anybody for such, i believe in my prowess.

“Of all of us who contested, nobody has head sensitive positions like myself in the polytechnics. I have made my name and i don’t want to condemn anybody. Most of the people who contested, they have cases of harassing women and collecting money. I have been on ground here for 27 years as a lecturer. I attended this school, who do they think is more grounded in this matter?”

Christianity EtcDo They Want Me To Tel Xtrians To Give Their Necks To Herdsmen? Apostle Suleman by crazynation(op): 6:10pm On Jan 26, 2017
By Ehi Ekhator

In this interview with NAIJA CENTER NEWS, the fiery senior pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman explains what he means by "if i spend one day behind bar", Fulani Herdsmen killings, attempt to kidnap him at night among other things.

Why did DSS come to arrest you last night?

Last month, January second week, i was preaching in the church and i made them know that i had received several calls because up until last year, I have been one of the strong people saying to Christians that we should not go violent because the image Nigeria has, the hunger, the poverty and if you incite people who are hungry and angry, it’s very crazy.

I started getting anonymous calls that they are planning to kill me, they are going to send Fulani Herdsmen to kill me, and some of them will come to church that they want prayer in order to come closer to me to stab me or shoot me. As i was preaching in church, i vehemently said to my people that if they see any of such around, they should be the first to react, they should not allow such person.

Every father will not fold his hands to wait until they kill the first child and second child. He will be prepared to defend himself, so I started talking to my people that they should react and take the person out.

The video came out as if i was saying it to the whole world that they should go ahead and start attacking Fulani herdsmen wherever they see them, i couldn’t have said that.

Yesterday, after preaching at the crusade ground, the governor was present and because of the things he saw happened, he took the camera and told people who were not there to be there today. After, I went with the governor to the state house to pray for him.

Which of the governors?

I am in Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose. So when i got to the hotel at about 1am, i heard that some people were here to see me. I never knew that the DSS came to my hotel two weeks before i came, they actually checked the hotel, I didn’t know, and it was later the management told me.

At 1am, they waited for my securities to leave, it was more like an adoption, they waited and called that they wanted to see me. When i asked who are they? They said some people who came for prayers; they were expecting me to come down so they can do what they wanted to do.

I called my people who are about two minutes from me; I found out that they came with two trucks at 1am. My people asked them if they wanted to see the Pastor why is it 1am? They said they have order from the Presidency. My people even told them that they should go that early morning, I’ll come to see them but they said no that they have 100 percent assurance that i am going with them.

Later the governor came and took me with him in his car. I am trying to calm my people because we have churches over 51 nations. They are staging a protest in Nigerian House in Washington today and i do not want that.

Did you say that Nigeria would not recover if you spent a day behind bars?

People always misunderstand what i say. I told them if i am behind bar for a day, the damage that would happen might take a year for Nigeria to redeem, and what i simply mean by that is the image of Nigeria. Imagine over 50 nations go online and post different things online, it will take a lot of image branding and that’s what i don’t want.

I have never seen anything like this before. My people are reacting and i do not blame them because I was never invited. If you want a man, you write and invite the person, for this idea of coming at 1am, i have never seen this before.

Talking about the Fulani herdsmen, how would you react to the way the Federal Government is responding to the cry of the Christians in Southern Kaduna and other parts?

They are not responding to any cry, they are only angry that people are talking about what they are not doing. It is obvious and this is why i am really worried. If you want to get me then invite me to talk about what i am talking about. Then i will explain to you, but they want to arrest me because i said what you are doing is wrong and that Christians should defend themselves.

I have people i am paying school fees for, they are the children of fatherless people killed in the crisis, if the Government want me to bring them out, i will. The government is doing nothing about it maybe because they are Fulani, the President is Fulani. In Enugu, no one was prosecuted. When i was growing up, i saw Fulani carrying stick but now they are carrying AK 47. It was Fulani people who kidnapped Mike Ozekhome who is a SAN. If they do such a thing, don’t talk, so my issue now is, why am i talking?

With the development, it seems that you and Pastor Adeboye are the only two pastors speaking against the killing, what would you say to the Christian association on the way they are responding?

It is disappointing. It is not just that, some Christians are even attacking me over my comment, and if that what Jesus Christ said? That i should try and preach peace. Jesus Christ said in the bible, i did not come to preach peace; i come to live this world: Mother against their father, father against children, and children against their father. What Jesus mean, when Jesus Christ was arrested, Peter cut someone’s ear, Jesus said “Peter keep your sword”, he didn’t say throw away your sword. It is very disappointing that Pastors have been sending me text messages to say we are with you but none of them are coming out to say ‘this is wrong’, only few people like Dr. Omobude are saying this is wrong, and that the issue that made the man say it should be considered.

Are they saying that as they are killing Christians, I should tell Christians to submit their necks so they can cut it off? If they come and want to rape your wife, sit them down and serve them coffee, welcome them for whatever they want to do to you and your family?

This could not happen under Goodluck Jonathan. I spoke against Goodluck Jonathan, i said all kind of things and i was not arrested.

Are we expecting the Christian world to rise and speak up in the open?

OF course, Christians should defend themselves; we cannot allow this killing to continue.

Are we expecting the leaders to start this by example?

No, it is not wise to go ahead and start fighting, just make sure that your people know they should not take such nonsense again. Muslims and Christians can be together without fighting and killing. Every leaders should preach to their followers the message of peace.

What’s your take on the law that changed Pastor Adeboye’s position?

I think the man has been fired and they sorted that out.

I can’t comment on the law that was suspended. For me, it didn’t make sense. A man who has a vision, if they say they want to audit churches, i would not stop that and if they say a man should step aside after 20 years does not make sense because the man he has a vision and knows what God called him to do. That means they should tell the Imam who runs the mosque to step aside, i won’t even support them doing that to Imam let alone. That means they have to go to herbalist that he has to step aside. Religious issue should be left alone and preach tolerance.

Do they want me to tell Christians to give their necks to Fulani Herdsmen? – Apostle Suleman

• Take a bow and go home to your grandkids

My last article titled "Who killed President Buhari?" earned me such a large number of assaults from the All Progressives Congress (APC) individuals and consistent theological rationalists of the President, Muhammadu Buhari.

In spite of, as a Nigerian who had imagined on a few occasions, a serene, adoring, and developed Nigeria, stopping my supposition would be the exact opposite i would do.

As of late, i chose to glorify Buhari as president as opposed to mourning why he was ever given a possibility. I needed to concur that he merited the chance he got otherwise i could never possess the capacity to say to my grandkids how we had a President who managed the nation twice and drove it into recession twice.

Buhari is a man who has his shoulder higher than his head, he has so much loathe and outrage, he has so much control that he doesn't know how to take a basic suggestion, is either you do what he needs or you get tormented by his admirers.

What's my point? At the time when Buhari initially governed the country as the Military head of State in 1983, he was at that point named “Baba go slow” by the individuals who ousted him. His government was slow at turning things around and as expected, Buhari faulted the civilian government he ousted for his troubles.

Despite the fact that as of late, Buhari attempted to paint the photo white that his plan to probe Ibrahim Banbagida prompted his capture that lasted for 2 years, the President refused to confess that the economy was heading towards recession as it is currently.

After waiting patiently for a change, and a year after Buhari couldn’t provide any, Majors Abubakar Dangiwa Umar (a Harward University educated officer born into an aristocratic northern family who was also the former ADC to former Chief of Army staff Hassan Usman Katsina), Lawan Gwadabe, Abdulmumuni Aminu and the arrested former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, arrested Buhari at gunpoint.

Inner caucus members of the coup, Ibrahim Babangida, Maj-Gen Sani Abacha, Brigadier Joshua Dongonyaro, Brigadier Aliyu Mohammed (The then head of military intelligence), Navy Commander Murtala Nyako, Lt-Cl Ahmed Abdullahi (Minister of Communications), Lt-Col Tanko Ayuba (commanding officer – Nigerian army signal corps), Lt-Col John Shagaya (Commanding officer – 9th mechanised brigade Ikeja), Lt-Col Anthony Ukpo, Major Abubakar Umar (Administrator of the Federal House Authority head a meeting on August 25, 1985 where Banbagida was chosen as the new head of state.

Below was read out by Brigadier Joshua Dongonyaro as the reasons for overthrowing Buhari :
“Fellow countrymen, the intervention of the military at the end of 1983 was welcomed by the nation with unprecedented enthusiasm. Nigerians were unified in accepting the intervention and looked forward hopefully to progressive changes for the better.

“Almost two years later, it has become clear that the fulfilment of expectations is not forthcoming. Because this generation of Nigerians and indeed future generations have no other country but Nigeria, we could not stay passive and watch a small group of individuals misuse power to the detriment of our national aspirations and interest.

“No nation can ever achieve meaningful strides in its development where there is an absence of cohesion in the hierarchy of government; where it has become clear that positive action by the policy makers is hindered because as a body it lacks a unity of purpose. It is evident that the nation would be endangered with the risk of continuous misdirection. We are presently confronted with that danger.

“In such a situation, if action can be taken to arrest further damage, it should and must be taken. This is precisely what we have done. The Nigerian public has been made to believe that the slow pace of action of the Federal Government headed by Major-General Muhamadu Buhari was due to the enormity of the problems left by the last civilian administration.

“Although it is true that a lot of problems were left behind by the last civilian government, the real reason, however, for the very slow pace of action is due to lack of unanimity of purpose among the ruling body; subsequently, the business of governance, has gradually been subjected to ill-motivated power play considerations.

Let’s take the bold phrases and sentences one after the other.

“Fulfilment of expectations is not forthcoming”: It is no more news that Buhari had declared on a few events that promises he made amid the presidential crusade can't be kept and they had likewise released an announcement scarcely yesterday that the trillions of budget planned can't be executed as there is no cash. While Nigerians are crying over the N5000 stipend, food for students, millions of jobs (over 4million lost in a year), as usually, Baba go slow blamed Niger Delta Avengers, Biafra and the past administration without pointing a single finger to himself.
“Misuse power to the detriment of our national aspirations and interest.”: Buhari did not start the misuse of power today. He is the 92nd world known dictator and he knows how to use power to his own advantage, in the process, deviating from his original economic plans.

“Lacks a unity of purpose. It is evident that the nation would be endangered with the risk of continuous misdirection”: Buhari lied his way through the assistance of the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed into power. He had no arrangement, he never thought he would win and he made fakepromises that he didn't make arrangements to keep. Like in 1983, Nigerians are confronting the danger of continuous misdirection.

“Slow pace of action of the Federal Government headed by Major-General Muhamadu Buhari was due to the enormity of the problems left by the last civilian administration.” He was blamed for not attacking problems in 1985 by those, his companions who plotted to expel him. Instead of folding his sleeves and bring jobs to Nigerians, he was caught up with faulting the civilian administration he overthrew.

Brigadier Dongonyaro continued “The concept of collective leadership has been substituted by stubborn and ill-advised unilateral actions, thereby destroying the principles upon which the government came to power. Any effort made to advise the leadership, met the stubborn resistance and was viewed as a challenge to authority or disloyalty. Thus the scene was being set for systematic elimination of what was termed opposition.

“All the energies of the rulership were directed at his (Buhari) imaginary opposition rather than to effective leadership. The result of this misdirected effort is now very evident in the country as a whole. The government has started to drift. The economy does not seem to be getting any better as we witness daily increased inflation. The nation’s meagre resources are once again being wasted on unproductive ventures. Government has distanced itself from the people and the yearnings and aspirations of the people as constantly reflected in the media have been ignored. This is because a few people have arrogated to themselves the right to make the decision for the larger part of the ruling body.

“All these events have shown that the present composition of our country’s leadership cannot, therefore, justify its continued occupation of that position. Furthermore, the initial objectives and programmes of action which were meant to have been implemented since the ascension of power of the Buhari administration in Junary 1984 have been betrayed and discarded. The present state of uncertainty and stagnation cannot be permitted to degenerate into suppression and retrogression. We feel duty bound to use the resources and means at our disposal to restore hope in the minds of Nigerians and renew aspirations for a better future”

The above articulation astounds. Everything in quote is a reproduction of what's occurring today. Buhari efficiently eliminates anybody he named opposition. He is probing where the PDP individuals got their campaign funds yet declined to unveil his as one of the main presidential candidates who asserted to have less than N27.5m to purchase Presidential form.

The announcement above likewise expressed that exertion made to prompt the then government met resolute resistance and it was seen as a challenge to authority and traitorousness. Could this truly be far from what's going on today? Two days after the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi transparently cautioned Buhari not to rehash the oversight of the last administration; there were plans to probe his time as the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The Director at Jonathan/Sambo presidential crusade, Chief Fani-Kayode who openly blamed and accusing Buhari for shrouded agenda was locked up for quite a long time over what the Economic and Financial Crimes Comission (EFCC) who is in the blink of an eye attempting to awe the President, named fraudulent transaction amongst him and the previous NSA. Regardless of all clarifications, even after he met his bails, he was tossed into jail.

Ayo Fayose, another vocalist who is extremely incredulous of the present government, an individual from the Peoples Democratic Party (opposition) still has his footloose as the constitution shields him from indictment else he would have been cooling his chest in one of the Nigerian jails like the previous PDP National Secretary, Olisa Metuh who was likewise closed down for his basic assault.

Clearly, Buhari had never had any vision, he had survived faulting others around him and he lacks regret to the extent that he can't apologize for any wrongdoings. Buhari is self acclaimed Mr. Exemplary who couldn't give his elementary school certificate. Well, the consequences of our actions just started and we still have many years to endure it.

Since i was blamed for criticising without recommending solutions in my last article, i along these lines encourage Buhari to take a bow and go home to his grandchildren as what's happening in Nigeria today is more than his capacities. Buhari is an old man most likely experiencing diminishing plasticity and anticipating that such a man should channel the issue of more than 180 million individuals is nonsensical.

Buhari was a great man, he meant well for the country, he struggled to become the President of Nigeria after contesting four times but as it was expected, Nigeria killed President Muhammadu Buhari before his time.

Before the Presidential election, the 72 years old man was brimming with thoughts. He was the one seeing the amusement from an outer perspective, he had the key, he visualized, anticipated and proffer solution from the solace of his room, while his party, All Progressives Congress were singing tunes of distress for the country, storing the fault of the issue on the head of the previous President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who hailed from Niger Delta locale of the nation.

A year and three months after the assumption of office, President Buhari has been pronounced dead. It seems every time a president is chosen from the Northern part of the country, they kick the bucket before they could finish their presidency.

The Late President, Musa Yar’Adua was elected on the 21 April 2007 and passed in 2010 in some place in Saudi Arabia. Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently dead alive scarcely put in a year prior to his death.

Buhari, though, not below six feet is dead and buried in Nigeria. There is different between alive and living. Buhari at the moment may be alive but he is no longer living. His peace has been sold and his brain hijacked by hate. The President only defense is to bark against anyone who criticizes him as he does not have solution to the problem Nigeria is engulfed in.

When he doesn’t have anybody to toss into prison through his numerous canines, he points the finger at Jonathan and now, he blames Niger Delta Avenger.

Since Buhari came into power, around 272 organizations have closed down including Nigeria prominent and pleased organization Innosun. Air Contractors had recently suspended operation till further notice and that implies numerous Nigerians are laid off.

“A total of 4,580,602 people have lost their jobs since May 29, 2015. Portfolio investment declined to an estimated $245.3m in Q2 2016. This represents a 9.5% from $271.0m in Q1 2016 & is a far cry from $2.81bn in Q2 2015, according Deji Adeyanju, PDP director of new media.

He added “Our dismay is worsened by the fact that every sphere of the Nigerian socio-political space (ranging from the conduct of elections, human rights, respect for the rule of law, security, technology, health etc) is negatively affected by the Buhari administration,” Mr. Adeyanju said.

Innosun announced its shut down on the 31st of August due to lack of foreign exchange to import vehicle components. Meanwhile Buhari gave an order to make foreign currency available to Muslims who went for pilgrimage.

According to National Bureau of Statitics, Nigeria’s receission had worsened with Gross Domestic Product (GDP) dropping to -2.06 per cent for the second quarter.

The Chairman of IVM, Innocent Chukwuma said ““Production has stopped as we are waiting for the imported items for which there is forex issue,” Chukwuma stated. IVM was launched in 2010 and raised its annual production target for 2016 from 4,000 to 6,000 vehicles due to a ‘Made in Nigeria’ campaign that generated strong sales to the police, state agencies and churches.

“Those ambitions and plans no more look good if the promises of the government to assist fails to materialise. I believe they are doing something, but if they can’t do anything, we would be forced to lay off workers,” Chukwuma said.”

Rather than to put heads together or at least listen to the cry of the people, recently Buhari proposed a bill to seek an emergency power so he can fix the problem of the nation singlehandedly. Really? The problem all his economic teams could not fix, Buhari will just use the emergency power fix it within a week or one month?

The President was searching for an approach to render the effectively elastic stamped National Assembly pointless so he can continue what he is known for. Buhari is the 92th world known tyrant, as indicated by United States records and giving him such a force would have and would be awful and lamentable.

Who killed President Buhari? Nigerians are suffering, bag of rice is now N22,000 over a hundred percent increase, bag of cement from N1200 to N2400. Transportation has increased and there is rumour that Buhari administration is planning to bump up the suffering of the people by increasing the text and calling tax and the price of kerosene.

Power has not improved; campaign promise to feed children one square meal per day has been denied, N5000 stipend guaranteed unemployment youths have been renounced. As indicated by Chris Ngige, they can’t pay such a sum to languid Nigerians.

The price of Indomie has escalated; garri is now what Nigerians called “Kingsway”. Medicare has increased, and it was shamefully disclosed the other time that Aso rock clinic didn’t have tablets after budgeting billions.

Buhari is dead. He was a great man, he did all he could but he died untimely death. Upon all the suffering of the plebs, in an attempt to defend the situation, Presidency on Wednesday blamed the Niger Delta militants for the present issue. It asserted that different parts of his government are enhancing with the exception of the oil segment which is being devastated consistently by the militants, indicating that Mr. Buhari might not be ready to accept growing calls for a new policy direction.

“A close look at the data shows that this outcome was mostly due to a sharp contraction in the oil sector due to huge losses of crude oil production as a result of vandalisation and sabotage.

“However, the rest of the Q2 data is beginning to tell a different story. There was growth in the agricultural and solid minerals sectors which are the areas in which the Federal Government has placed particular priority,” Mr. Akande said.

Mr. Lai Mohammed has bit by bit pulled his head in as he couldn’t longer bear to negate himself. The heft of the fall have been set on Mr. Akande’s head.

Lai Mohammed had stopped talking about the numerous trips made by Buhari to different part of the world after his assumption of office. When Nigerians were screaming at the rate at which the President was travelling and even tag him “tourist President”, APC accused the PDP of masterminding the whole issue, claiming that the visit was already yielding result. I swear, i no see any result yet.
