hello. i met with the representative of Griffith yesterday. he said right now they would be getting lots of application is so it would take up to 3 to 4 weeks before anyone can get his/her application. it could be less tho. then its not compulsory u use english test for Griffith
mrsoje:
E- family.....its a long journey from part 1 to this page. Been reading up and gathering information. Thanks to you all. Been in touch with @mpop and she has been very helpful.
I just have few questions to ask. My husband recently applied to RMIT (Master of Engineering Management) and Griffith (Master of Engineering Project Management Advanced) for June/ July intake. He didn't write the English test as it was stated in the transcript that the course was taught in English( B. Eng Electrical Electronics(Uk) and Instrumentation and Automation HND/ OND Certificate(Nigeria).

@Demi10 @Adetoi01 @chi50 @ada4ada @mpop @all

1) how long does it take to get offer letter from RMIT and Griffith?

2) at what point will they call us for interview?

3) Will you advise he still seat for the English test for visa purposes?

4) Do you advise we apply together or we apply after he has left? Myself and daughter won't be joining him now till next year.

Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.

missymii:
So Sydney tafe gave a negative response to my application stating that they r not attending to applications from Nigeria for d next 3 months cry. I should check back in 3 months time. Although private schs r still acceptingAn Australian agent corroborated this saying that schools in Sydney are not admitting nurses for July batch. She said since I have a bachelor's in biology and I want to go for diploma in nursing it won't fly, coz it's like a downgrade in degree and that it have tey I graduated from sch (2010:over 5 years ) She also advised I go for MBA or masters in ict since I have work experience in customer service and then teaching cos my ietls academic score was good.I really want to study nursing undecided I have read of people changing careers here. Hello house,

I am a final year medical student graduating in May this year. I am considering going to the US for a graduate program. I have been having difficulties in choosing whether I should go for Masters or PHD. As a medical doctor, which would you advice I go for?

Secondly, my propose field is either in public health, community health or environmental health. In fact, any health related graduate program would suffice.

Would any of you be so kind to provide me with a list of schools that I can apply to that guarantees funding? I've a pretty good GPA, would be taking my GRE next week. Any tips?

N.B. I am currently in the US, Kansas city to be precise. I am here for an elective program in one of the hospitals.

HELLO HOUSE, I JUST WANTED TO CONFIRM THIS. THERE ARE SOME UNIVERSITIES IN AUSSIE THAT DO NOT REQUIRE YOU WRITING IELTS OR TOEFL ,AS LONG AS ENGLISH IS YOUR FIRST LANGUAGE ,AND YOU CAN PROVE THAT YOUR PRIOR EDUCATION WAS TAUGHT IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE. PLS I HOPE IT WONT AFFECT ME IN ANY WAY WHEN APPLYING,HAS ANYONE DONE THIS?

i notice most people come here and ask for schools to go to which isnt bad tho. firstly, different schools is good for different person, no one should ask for schools to go to, you have to check yourself then come back and say these r my findings, are the school ok. Many people follow each other to their schools which isnt too goo.

Plwase lets try and know what we want and why we want it before leaving this country. kmow whats best for you, search what school is good for you, know if your course is accreditted for the country you going to.

Thanks

if its too stressful for you. why dont u try australia, its way easier
malory84:
Thanks alot guys. 2 schools are demanding the evaluated transcript, the other 2 says its must be official; in sealed envelops, sent by the school. This application process is really draining, not to talk of the money you have to spend on application fees, chasing lecturers up and down for LOR. Congrats to anyone who has gotten an offer.

I've gotten answers to most....two questions is still confusing to me

1)
With just O level certificate, is it possible to be offered admission to study Mechanical engineering , undergraduate studies, BSc
2) With TOEFL , is it possible to be offered admission if only WAEC  o level can't guarantee such and the estimated school fees for one year

try University of Liverpool
FKBZ:
Hello all,

Please i have a friend in Nigeria whose last degree was an OND but wishes to study further abroad.

He would prefer to do it online due to his business commitments but doesn't know how to go about it.

I would appreciate if any one can recommend schools with good online degree, affordable fees and minimal travel i.e traveling there only maybe for convocation or practicals would be ideal..

I would have suggested a Nigeria university but we all know the standard right now.

I need hands-on experience or first hand information, links ,website thankssss.

I have tried google but it isn't so explanatory.

PFL is 100. i got my admission with Double Dove Consult Education which is 80,000. They applied to 4 schools for me and i have gotten admission into Griffith and Western Sydney U niversity.
Regards.
Otunba4eva:

PFL charges 100k flat for Australian schools. But you can negotiate with them if probably you just want them to help you package your visa application alone. But I don't think they can take less than 80k

Good morning, im new here.
Firstly, why are so much people applying to Curtin University which is kind of expensive. Well different people with their choices.
Secondly, People should prefer moving to Sydney but most especially Brisbane where there are so many jobs and the pay is better. For example Brisbane is a cheap and calm city, house rent arent too expensive.
For people that wanna pay their tuition from Australia, Brisbane is a good place.
Lastly, before we travel, lets check the accredited courses in Australia for international students. If you go there blindly, you might not get PR because PR there is done with points. So ur course of study has to be accredited by the Australian Govt.

Regards.
