This is why i took my time to explain that the engineer who came by brought his own swift SIM and router and tested it from the exact same spot where my router is and got better speeds, much more than i get and much more than you get (6Mbps). So the issue of reception is out of it.

It was also in the same spot when i was getting the said 3MB/s while on the plan that offered unlimited at night. I'm pretty sure it is throttled cause that's the only explanation that makes sense at this point.

If the engineer brought his own router and got such speeds, why didn't you tell him to slip in his sim into your own router and check it too? It's probably your router that's the issue with the sim. That's another factor you can't leave out.

X570 is best choice or x470 because you can upgrade your cpu letter to Ryzen 5900 but b450 will not support the latest Ryzen processor

B450 boards will support the latest ryzen processor but at a later date (January 2021 via bios update)

Swift dey fall hand now big time. Too many subscribers and so little expansion on the network to handle heavy downloads especially at night. Its unfortunate to see myself downloading at 500-700kb/x and am paying 7k per month.

I have a feeling swift is now throttling download speeds especially at night. For the past few days, I have been downloading at kb/s. I hardly even smell steady 1mb/s anymore. I have complained heavily to their Instagram handle, and nothing was done.

Omo, na luck ooh. Just a day before my expiration date which is tomorrow, the #3500 for 20gb finally popped up when I dialed *121# for the uptenth time. I quickly transferred credit and subbed again. Thanks for trying to help out man.

If you're using prepaid meter, just know that desktop gaming consumes power depending on how you use it because the graphics card alone go chop wattage, not to mention the other components of the system. With gen there's no problem as you can play to your heart's content. I'm in the process of rebuilding my desktop all over again, as the first one went kaput, or should I say 3rd time as I have used two motherboards and both have died on me after a few months of usage. So I ordered a 3rd motherboard. Should be arriving soon. I also upgraded my graphics card from rx 580 8gb to a GTX 1080 SC. Also upgraded my UPS as I suspect my previous one may have been the culprit in damaging my last two motherboard. Ordering from the USA is easy, but the problem is time it takes to get here, and the dollar/naira exchange rate with the latter being the back breaker. I use 3rd party shipping guys here from nairaland to ship my stuff but these days, covid made prices of everything jump up and the exchange rate is killing big time. One can't even buy thing from here as they are bastardly overpriced and moreover, majority of the good stuff is lacking in Nigeria.

Swift calm down and called me this early morning waking me from my sleep to ask how the network has been at my end since my regaulr complaints from last where it has been a disaster but if late speed picked up very well for a few days so just to curb my annoyance of being woken up so early, I just told them it's been fine since this past weekend. They thanked and dropped. Surprised sha but dem try. Account I'm about to suspend as I can't sustain my package due to lack of funds. Smh.
