Sorry to break your heart but GIONEE phones are not meant to be bought for now. GIONEE company is having issues and sorry to burst your bubble, you MIGHT not be able to get it repaired. But try and go back to where you bought and tell them it's having issues or go to their Carlcare center.
Next time, always make findings before you buy a phone

It's like this gionee x1s is a one chance phone. Almost everyone who bought the phone is complaining about the battery and poor gionee has no solution.

My x1s has gone to Lagos and come back without being fixed and it's still with them....
just thinking of what to do these gionee people .they nor try at all.

i could not have agreed less to what you said. It's a one chance phone and Gionee doesn't have any solution to the battery issue and it's not nice. I didn't enjoy the phone at all. It's painful when you buy phone for such an amount and it has issue and one can't it repaired.
@ GioneeOnline told me to call customer care line and I called but the representative at the other end of the phone didn't pick initially and at a point, it started to say switch off.

I bought a Gionee X1S in February this year, precisely on the 24th of February, 2018 and I was given 13months warranty. To my surprise around July, it started to have battery issue because the battery began to drain very fast so towards the end of August, I took it to Gionee Carlcare center in Ibadan and I was told that the battery is not available that I should check back first week in September and I checked back at the stipulated time and it wasn't still available. I visit the carlcare center at Computer village precisely at Medical road, opposite zenith bank and I was told also that the battery is not available. Just to let you know that I have gone back to your Carlcare center at Ibadan towards Mokola roundabout and the same response I get is that the battery is not available. I called both the Carlcare center in Lagos and Ibadan just last week and I was made to understand that the battery is not available still and they don't know when it will be available. KINDLY ASSIST PLEASE IN GETTING A NEW BATTERY FOR THIS PHONE

I bought a Gionee X1S this year February but the phone's battery started having issues in July and I took it to their Customer care in both Lagos and Ibadan, up til now, they don't have battery to replace the spoilt one. I CAN NEVER RECOMMEND GIONEE TO ANYBODY AGAIN

I would advise you not to go for Gionee because it seems they are having issues right now. When you buy a Gionee phone in this present times and it has fault, you cant get it repaired

I would advise you to buy another phone because if it get spoiled, you won't get it repaired. Gionee doesn't have parts to repair phone. I have one now and it is useless because the battery is bad and just took it to their carlcare and they said they don't have its parts. Buy another brand
