stabilizer: What nonsense did you just wrote bro? Why did you quoted the other person when your sense of reasoning doesn't understand the danger ahead of Lagosians is they mistakenly vote for that little rat called Gbadebo Rhodes V... He lacks the capacity ability and vision to rule a state like Lagos. Please if you don't understand, kindly go and check his manifesto and come back to reply me. If try to say any rubbish further, the whole world will be disappointed in you. Can you even read? My post didn't disagree with the guy. He mention LP's manifesto in Lagos and I talked about the fact that their manifesto in Kwara is similar. "If try to say any rubbish further" as if you can do anything but type till your finger start to peel off. |

mastermaestro: It shows that you, Obi and Atiku have very blurred economic vision and limited fiscal foresight. A kindergarten, unless blinded by selfishness, would have perceived that the timing, preparation and machinery for implementation were wrong, insufficient and incapable.
Traditional banks are overwhelmed by the number of electronic transfers they have to deal with presently. Failed and pending transfers are the commonest complaints you hear from people who are forced to besiege banks on a daily basis.
I am not even talking about the unavailability of the new Naira notes. See en, most of you should not be talking when real issues about governance are being discussed.
It is the same of set of dummies who drank and hugged to this nonsense policy at its implementation that are today queuing behind that GRV boy. Take a look a his manifesto. Are you going to tell me that that one knows what governance means? All I see is chaos and economic woes waiting to hatch.
Una go hear? Make una vote am. I hope sane Lagosians stop this impending doom of an activist opportunist. I saw the Manifesto for their Kwara state candidate and laughed. It's just way too generic and petty. Well, LP can't afford to fail in Lagos if they eventually win cos if they fail Peter Obi is ruined |

Outstandingmam: Honestly the bold is what should have made any sensible person to think twice before supporting such a policy.
No country on earth, even the industrialized ones declare their own legal tender illegal within 3 months of printing new ones yet Nigeria where over 60% are still unbanked wants to do the magic? Some asshats will still argue that 3 months is more than enough. |

Karlifate: The way a lot of Nigerians jubilation & were chanting "Sai Baba" in the streets, as if it was God himself that was about to take over from GEJ, was alarming.
One of the reasons why I was wary about this Peter Obi.
Politicians are like leopards. I was wary of the guy too. But then, I didn't think anyone - Obi or Atiku - can fail as much as Buhari. |

Theunbothered: Somebody is ruining your life you're calling them geniuses. You the foolish Nigerians who have to wait under the sun to access your funds are the ones being played.
Daft lots You're clearly bothered. Isn't ruining of lives exactly what evil geniuses do? My point is that Nigerians severely underestimate APC because of the surface-level cluelessness they display. |
Politics › Re: CBN Says Old ₦200, ₦500, ₦1,000 Notes Remain Legal Tender by Crumbian: 10:45pm On Mar 13, 2023 |
BreconHills: APC supporters have been against this policy from the beginning. It was the APC governors who filed the suit that led todays lifting of the naira confiscation policy. On the other hand, It was PDP and LP supporters who supported it believing it would somehow hamper Tinubu's presidential bid.
APC supporters have been vindicated. Why should they wail?
In fact the policy was a godsend for the APC it allowed their governors and Presidential candidate to distance themselves from government. Wailing ke? Or bottles of beer and roast meat. It's funny that people actually thought Buhari of APC and Emefiele of APC will work together to prevent Tinubu of APC from winning the election. "It will curb the influence of money in politics", they didn't know they were the ones being played. The election proved that APC have some geniuses among them, some reeeaaally evil geniuses. |

OkutaNla: Smh. Emefiele just wanted to punish Nigerians for reasons best known to him. Las las, what was the point of the policy, if we're now back to square 1? After all the suffering he and Buhari put Nigerians through. Emefiewele, ONKR o. The elections man, that's the reason for all the suffering. If APC didn't "redesign" the currency, rendering PDP's stash useless, they would be on their way out. |
