BusinessRe: "Nigeria’s GDP Falls To $824, Worse Than 1960 Levels" - Akinwumi Ades by CSTRR: 12:46pm On May 02, 2025
Misterone:
Easier said than done! Look at the Tax reform bill that will at least help improve revenue generation. It's now been politicized to a North and South thing. To govern Nigeria isn't easy. People like Peter Obi think it is by talking rubbish on TV! That your idea may be very beautiful on paper but when it comes to implementation, you have to carry every region, every religion, every tribe, every Union, every activist, and even the terrorists along. That is Nigeria for you.
God bless Tinubu
Your tinubu is a con-man.
He has no problem with getting people to support him across divides when it comes to his own selfish political needs.

But when it comes to critical national priorities, suddenly there are enemies everywhere and his so-called strategies are not effective.
Everybody can see tinubu for the crook that he is. He is a politician always looking for a political advantage, and everybody will relate with him on that level.

Obi is as real as it can get. He is not compromising or begging godfathers to support him.
Those are the kind of people that can bring about the real development that Nigeria needs.
When Obi is talking about development and what needs to be done, People will listen.

For the bigots that have sworn to vote against their own interests, I say more power to your elbows.
BusinessRe: "Nigeria’s GDP Falls To $824, Worse Than 1960 Levels" - Akinwumi Ades by CSTRR: 12:27pm On May 02, 2025
By 2027 at this current tragetory, Nigeria would have slide down to 7th position in Africa by GDP.

If we make the mistake of allowing tinubu rig himself for second term, only God knows the economic state of Nigeria by 2031.
PoliticsRe: Abia Repays ₦‎72 Of ₦‎138 Billion Debt, Plans $1.3 Billion Medical City – Otti by CSTRR: 6:11pm On May 01, 2025
LegendHero:
This is exactly why all the governors are now supporting Tinubu.

Jigawa state governor is something else. He already paid of 96% of their domestic loan. Soon that state no go owe any domestic loan again.
You think governors are decamping to APC because tinubu is giving them a greater avenue to do more public good?

Are you that deluded, or just plain foolish?
PoliticsRe: Abia Repays ₦‎72 Of ₦‎138 Billion Debt, Plans $1.3 Billion Medical City – Otti by CSTRR: 6:08pm On May 01, 2025
LegendHero:
All this epistle onto 13th position in debt decrease? What should Jigawa and Ondo state now say?

Just comment President Tinubu for repositioning Nigeria finances to ensure states now have money left to service their obligation and have more to spend.
Abia state was previously a negative example among her peers.
People like you laughed and mocked that state at every turn.

The state was pillaged by the pdp and debts mounted. Even during the oil boom.

The Story is different today. It is now a positive example. Debts are being paid, infrastructure is being built and investments into the people is at all time high.

If you think your hopeless incompetent and wasteful president is the reason why resources are now being properly managed and utilized in abia state, then you are drunk on something strong.

Tinubu and Otti is as different as night is from day.
PoliticsRe: Abia Repays ₦‎72 Of ₦‎138 Billion Debt, Plans $1.3 Billion Medical City – Otti by CSTRR: 6:00pm On May 01, 2025
Abia almost missed Alex otti.
Pdp almost rigged that state, to continue their legacy of pillaging and high level looting.

The people rose, and defended their votes. A woman of integrity in the name of Prof Nnenna refused to be bullied.
Good things don't come easy.

The integrity, righteousness and tenacity that was not found at the INEC headquarters in Abuja, was found in abia state.

Abia is progressing today, while Nigeria is retrogressing.
PoliticsRe: Abia Repays ₦‎72 Of ₦‎138 Billion Debt, Plans $1.3 Billion Medical City – Otti by CSTRR: 5:53pm On May 01, 2025
Abia people proved that it is insanity to do the same thing over and over again, and expect a different result.

While the rest of the country was running mad, abia people dared to be different.

They put their votes where their mouth was, and voted for a change.

They are reaping the benefits now, and their children will thank them for it.

Tinubu is leading the country down an abyss.

The only good thing is that the rain will fall on both his supporters and the critics.

It would have been very unfair if tinubu's supporters were somehow insulated from his bad governance.

But we thank God for small mercies.

Alliswell248:
So....the problem started during Tinubu tenure.

Is the govt not doing anything about it?

Sore losers
What's is tinubu doing about it?

A man that spent 19 days in a foreign land doing nothing.
Up till now, he has not visited plateau or offered condolences to the people there.

If tinubu was from a different ethnic group from yours, would you make this useless statement?
PoliticsRe: US Ambassador To Nigeria Meets With MACBAN by CSTRR: 9:14pm On Apr 28, 2025

Nobody takes the sore losers serious....

Bitter obi supporters
I guess your own Nigeria is different from that of the "sore losers".

The market women complaining are all sore losers.
The farmers complaining of insecurity are also sore losers.

Na only you dey enjoy tinubu.

Weldone, winner.

spiSeyi:
Hmmm. What Tilumbu should be doing
Tinubu's IQ is like -50.
A true local champion to the core.

When it comes to international geopolitics and real politics of nation building, it's out of his depth.

The US is currently undermining China, openly claiming that the Chinese have developed too fast.
These are the same people that we are entrusting our national security to.
PoliticsRe: US Ambassador To Nigeria Meets With MACBAN by CSTRR: 7:25pm On Apr 28, 2025
Nigeria is an utterly failed state.

So porous to every kind of external influence.

A foreign govt is meeting with critical national security stakeholders, while tinubu is there wooing opposition governors for his reelection bid.

What a shame.
PoliticsRe: What If Obi Joins APC Tomorrow? by CSTRR: 8:44am On Apr 26, 2025
That would be tinubu's greatest dream come true.

But I trust obi.

You are insane.

Very unfair! Why can't you nominate PO to lead the delegation. Area of competence should matter in these assignments.
Rehearsal pics don full ground sef for PO. Inclusive pleassse. cheesy
It's very funny, right?

The Future of your country is like Chelsea vs arsenal banter.
Your own is just to watch it like TV and cheer on your favorite side irrationally.

If not the age restriction, that boy will be in Rivers state Assembly from 2027
That's the kind of Nigeria tinubu wants to create.

Soon we will start seeing political dynasties of all sorts all across Nigeria.

Elites entrenching their children and grandchildren into political offices, while their peasant sycophants on nairaland cheer them on.

See how scanty the thread is.
A very important information that affects everybody.

If the topic was about tinubu winning opposition governors or about election, the thread would be very lively with sycophants.

But he defeated tinubu in Lagos.

Where do you think those votes would have gone to?

Tinubu spent 19days in Europe doing nothing.
A whole president of a country. grin

If that was how OBJ and GEJ did, you think the Nigerian GDP would have been the biggest in Africa during their time?

What's important is that Jagaban and his army of governors will defeat Peter obi very well in 2027.

Who statistics help?
BusinessRe: Africa's Largest Economies (2025) by CSTRR: 4:44pm On Apr 24, 2025
By 2027, when tinubu would be running for second term, the Nigerian GDP should have gone down to atleast 7th position.

But that's not important.

Our Jagaban is a master of politics.
BusinessRe: Africa's Largest Economies (2025) by CSTRR: 4:40pm On Apr 24, 2025
When pdp was in power, and we had experts like NOI, Soludo, aganga, e.t.c running the show the Nigerian macroeconomics was strong.

Nigeria was an investment hub because the FG was doing the right thing.

All those investments that came as a result of the hardwork of people like NOI at the center was flowing straight to Lagos and Ogun.
Lagos and Ogun governors were commissioning FDIs every week under the pdp federal government.

Some morons now thought it was tinubu that was doing the magic.

Just like tinubu, President Trump is wrecking the American economy, and their states are feeling the impact.

The investments that Lagos state has lost under the federal govt led APC is astronomical.
BusinessRe: Africa's Largest Economies (2025) by CSTRR: 4:35pm On Apr 24, 2025
Some people are rejoicing that tinubu has managed to capture all the governors of the SS.

That's the only thing that is giving them Joy.
That their jagaban is a master of Politics.

Una go learn by force.

Nigeria is now 4th.

From the largest economy in Africa and the third fastest growing in the world in Africa in 2014 to now the 4th in Africa.

Congratulations Apc.
Congratulations, tinubu. What a Master in politics.

On your mandate we stand.
