The vast majority of female homicide in Nigeria are a result of domestic violence. |

It didn't occur to you that these women wanted to be sycophants because they were scared of being scapegoated by akpabio? Since 1999. They've had Osoba, Gbenga Daniel, Amosu and now Dapp Abiodun.
Is there any of these people you want to compare with any governor from SE?
Though they could be better but all these people floor Obi in governance. Ogun being the industrial hub of Nigeria is a testament to this. The only thing going on in Anambra is fake drugs.
We'll wait for NAFDAC to finish with them and see what's left of the Alambla Check out the aerial view of Enugu and check out an aerial view of ogun or osun, and then come back and delete this nonsense. |

For someone like akpabio and with the level of corruption that he displayed when he was minister , there is no question in my mind that the reason he spent billions of naira building roads and Bridges is because of the high rate of kickbacks involved.
That guy does not give a damn about the masses. |
Politics › Re: Between Akpabio And Peter Obi, Who Was A Better Governor ? by CSTRR: 6:35pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
brain54: Akpabio was one of the best governors during his time...
Many infrastructures and legacy projects were built by him in akwaibom. Including the world class international stadium that still hosts football matches till today and regarded as one of the best in the country.
Long and short is Akpabio was a better governor(but also the worst senate president...but let's stick to the governor comparison which is the matter of discuss)
Peter Obi is a lot of hype with nothing really to show for it as governor of anambra state.
Nothing really spectacular did he achieve as governor! And yet akwaibom has one of the highest rate of poverty in the country. A state with very great number of dilapidated schools and hospitals. So what did akpabio do with near unlimited oil money at the height of high oil prices.? Health, poverty rate and education are the three most important factors affecting the masses. If he couldn't make the state one of the best in any of those three areas then what did he do? Should we compare Anambra with akwaibom in those three areas? |
Politics › Re: Between Akpabio And Peter Obi, Who Was A Better Governor ? by CSTRR: 6:10pm On Mar 07, 2025 |
If obi handled the amount of money that akpabio got freely from oil, then akwa ibom would have one of the lowest poverty rate in the country, if not the lowest.
The free oil money was too much.
Unfortunately, akwaibom is one of the poorest state in the south despite the oil wealth.
If akpabio governed a state like Anambra, that state would be a backwater given his propensity for high level corruption and waste. |

Gajagojo: The Federal government is not responsible for secondary school education The unity schools are not intended to fill gaps of failing state governments
The aim is not what you and other greedy ignorant Iboes say it should be
Also you are misrepresenting reality
There are different quotas National Merit The cut off is the same for every one
State quota every state has their own quota the cut off varies from state to state This is the one generating all the bitterness
Environmental quota for the Host and neighbouring states
Disabled and other disadvantaged groups
Even Foreign students have slots
Children of diplomats and other officials serving abroad The bolded shows that you are an idiot, and not worth arguing with. |
Politics › Re: Is It Fair To Give Igbo Children The Highest Cutoff Marks?? by CSTRR: 2:38am On Mar 07, 2025 |
Gajagojo: Provision of secondary education is not the responsibility of the Federal Government That is the responsibility of the State government
A Christmas party is not intended to feed people for a whole year.
That is why they say everyday is not Christmas
Ask your state governments to provide secondary schools for you that is their constitutional responsibility
There are 24000 secondary schools in Nigeria and unity schools represent 0,005% so
If their cut off marks are so high it means their demand is high BECAUSE their state governments are failing in their responsibility
So their state governments need to do more and invest more in education No, the demand is high because most educated parents wants their kids to attend unity schools, if they can help it. Unity schools are a federal govt initiative so obviously the FG is also involved in basic education. If they didn't, they wouldn't have created unity schools. The aim of the unity schools should be to educate as many deserving Nigerian students as possible, so the places with more brilliant and willing students should have more unity schools to educate as many as possible. Anything else, and it defeats the purpose of creating the schools in the first place. |
Politics › Re: Is It Fair To Give Igbo Children The Highest Cutoff Marks?? by CSTRR: 10:40pm On Mar 06, 2025 |
Gajagojo: Only?
How many should they have ? Enough to satisfy the high competition there. If their cutoffs are so high, then they should have the commensurate number of institutions to absorb the most. They should even have the highest number of unity schools if necessary. Those with cut-offs of 2 have no business having so many unity schools. Its a waste of resources. And anybody with a brain can see that. |
