It's not Obi's job to help Atiku defeat Tinubu. Every eligible person should go and run, and convince people to vote them

What matter most is that free, credible and transparent elections are held, because without it, it won't matter what Atiku or Obi does

Atiku got over 7 million votes. He is not a lightweight.
Like it or not, he has the votes of a lot of people for whatever reason.

Those people that voted for atiku are doing the permutation that instead of voting for obi and wait for another 8yrs, they would rather just vote for tinubu and regain power in four years time.
Tinubu knows this, and he used it to his advantage in 2015. He will also use this logic against Obi in 2027, if obi gets the presidential ticket.
8million tinubu votes + 7 million atiku votes = 15 million votes, potentially for tinubu if obi runs for president.

If the people that voted for obi are not realistic enough to play the ethnoreligious politics of this country and atleast get their candidate in the door, then their votes are in vain.
It's better they don't stress themselves by voting.

There is goodwill, and there is political reality.

Two heads are better than one.
You cannot defeat tinubu with goodwill alone. A tinubu that is an expert at utilizing every tool in his box. A political machinery with decades of experience and structure.

Obi needs to play the tribal aspect of politics as well, or tinubu will use it against him.

Obi's time will come when he has paid his ethnic political dues and brought others to the limelight, just like tinubu did for buhari.

Tinubu got 8 million votes winning 12 states(even with rigging), as the candidate of the ruling party

Atiku got 7 million votes winning 12 states( even with rigging) as the candidate of the major opposition which has produced presidents for 16 years.

Obi got 6 million votes winning 12 states, with an unknown party whose highest previous achievement is governor of a single state.
He won the two most cosmoplitan states in Nigeria, was rigged out of a sure and absolute victory in Rivers by wike, won all the military polling units across the country, didn't pay or give a bribe.
Many unknown men and women across the country won legislative positions while riding under the wings of his popularity.

And one idiot here is talking about "wrong and right" tribe.
If anything, it seems obi is from the right tribe.


What obi should do right now, is act as VP candidate for atiku in 2027. It doesnt take anything from him.
Flip the 2015 script, and victory is certain.

Then he can run for presidency after atiku.

To be honest and fair to Peter Obi, he did everything he could in 2023. He visited mosques, attended churches, tried to appeal to every part of Nigeria. But the truth is
he’s an Igbo man, and that alone made many Nigerians not trust him.

There’s a deep believe that an Igbo man in power will be dangerous to Muslims and non-Igbos. many Nigerians genuinely believe an Igbo president would be vengeful. Look at how some Igbos online openly cheer the killing of babies in Palestine that alone prove the deep hatred non Igbo have for Igbo is justified.
