It's common sense. |
Administration1:It shows you that Buhari is not serious about that sector at all. He sees it as something that is not relevant enough to be manned by deserving people. It's sad indeed. You can't sow foolishness and reap prosperity. |
MSMEs is the driving force of any economy in the world. It's not big businesses like dangote, banks, glo, mtn, and co that reduces poverty, it is MSMEs. MSMEs, MSMEs and more MSMEs. Any govt that cannot prioritise MSMEs is not ready to fight poverty and create jobs. Infact, 70% of the things they should be discussion at the Federal executive council is MSMEs. But under Buhari, I barely hear it. And you wonder why the world bank say poverty has sharply increased since 2015. |
It still baffles me that osinbajo's policy thrust under this govt is sharing N5000 to market women. When someone like Peter obi would have created a separate MSME ministerial agenda headed by the president himself, manned by experts, and providing direct and proper funding to MSMEs all over the country, right from day one. By the time four years is over, you would have pulled millions of people out of poverty. |
This is his 7th year in office, about to enter the last lap and this old clown is just talking about employment and job creating. |
donjazet:Relative peace and prosperity with nearly 40% of the world's wealth enjoyed by just a country of 300 million people, and Anglo Saxons and the North Atlantic nations in the global north are at the very top of the food chain with hyper prosperity, while the global south are scrounging for left overs with widespread poverty and underdevelopment. Relative peace and prosperity for who? There is still massive wars and poverty all over the world, just not in the global North. |
ElohimShenRa:I am not from the south east, neither is every Peter obi supporter. Bigotry don corrode your brain. If at this stage of your life and with the way this country is going, you can't seperate an individual from his tribe, then I don't know when you will ever be wise. If because of some misguided clowns in the east, you deny yourselves of the best chance at good governance, then the consequences is everybody's to bear. No be only Igbos go suffer hyper inflation or insecurity. E go touch you and all those clowns that can't seperate a man from his tribe. Even if you don't vote Peter obi, the person you will vote for out of spite does not and will never know you. He will not call your father to come and share money with him and his family. So you better get sense, and vote for your best chance at common good. |
It's people like this that makes me believe there are different grades of human beings. Some are not fully evolved. |
Emaprince:Why should anyone be in control.? A multipolar world is better. Let everybody choose what they want. |
That's Why Peter obi is my Candidate. He is the one that can mop up all these funds floating around and recalibrate our values. When your president lives like a common man, even you will start wondering if there is still money left in politics, and the corrupt looters would be discouraged from either looting or running for office. |
Nerogaming01:If you secceede today, you will create a humanitarian crisis. The poverty would be so much that all your women would leave your country and sell their bodies for money to other ethnic groups. The people leading the secession movement does not have the IQ required to create a stable and prosperous Society. I have no problem with wanting seccession, but let the right people lead it. Do it the right way. Have you discussed trade and investment with other ethnic groups? Have you discussed airspace and the waterways? Have you agreed on a boundary? If you have not done those, then you are playing with war, instability and poverty. There is nothing good that can come from any venture led by mad people. |
Angelfrost:It is just crazy. I honestly think it's a product of severe brain drain. Most of these guys remaining in the east are the dregs of society. The best have left. To Lagos and other parts of Nigeria and beyond. I don't think one Igbo guy working as an Engineer in Coca cola Lagos or an Igbo accountant at KPMG would fall prey to this madness. It's the mostly the dregs of society.. And there are not a lot of good Igbo minds remaining in the east to dilute the poison and the collective stupidity in the youths. |
The Igbo fathers struggled hard after the civil war to rebuild to the admiration of friends and foe alike. But these younger generation of efulefus will destroy everything and set them back a thousand years. And worse, it would make them vulnerable to more marginalisation and xenophobia from even other Nigerian ethnics. Igbos should rethink this path of self destruction they are currently on or their enemies will laugh over them. |
Nerogaming01:Yes like the militias in Congo, Somalia, Sudan, raping and pillaging and carving out territory. You no get sense at all. |
I weep for the Igbo people. I have never seen such a sad case of self sabotage. A cynical president like El rufai would just leave them alone and allow them destroy their own land themselves. But hopefully, Buhari would not toe that path. Get MI-35s to those forests and clear it out. |
I don't see us winning the league anytime soon. We are not a consistent team. Liverpool and Manchester city are ruthlessly consistent. |
Such a razz girl. She think say na today everything end. And if you see their boyfriends sef, nothing to write home about in the real sense. |
tarantino1:Dont mind them. They're currently ejaculating in their pants because of Nunez at benfica. By the time Woodward buys him, he would suddenly become a bad buy. |
Kyase:Lol So United should not buy him, abi? |
Angelfrost:They would be eaten alive in the UCL. Nobody wants to see such a mauling. |
Angelfrost:But that is not his job. That is why he has a coach and technical team to identify players. His own is to release money. We can't blame Roman abramovich for Chelsea buying bakayoko. That is the fault of Michael emenalo our technical director. |
Kyase:Is Nunez from benfica a hype job? Let us know now because that is the player Manchester United fans are crying for right now. Not that when he finally comes now, you guys will blame Woodward for buying him. |
I remember when Manchester United fans were creaming themselves over Sancho every season. Now he is at United and he has sudenly become a useless player. |
Kyase:Useless players? Pls list them. When you were buying them, they were not useless. Everybody saw them as genuinely good buys. From Sancho to McGuire, that Dutch guy and the rest of them. Nobody saw them as a flop. McGuire at Leicester was very good. Woodward has done a good job in terms of releasing money. He is not a coach to identify players m The problem is either coaching or technical director. |
duro4chang:Given the terrible state of your country, it hasn't occured to you that there is a serious dearth of good leaders? You think you have good Leaders in surplus? Or is it by being popular for sharing money and having boys under you? If that is your example of good leaders, then yes, you have them plenty. Among the people that have declared, I can only see two people worth voting for. And Peter obi is the best of the lot and happens to belong to a major party too. I say it without any apology. Nigeria is too far gone for me to start hiding the truth at this stage. But if you think you have one oga somewhere to vote for that is better, then go right ahead. That is your next eight years, right there. Add it to your age. Na your cross to bear. No be me go feed you na. |
Kyase:I don't know why you guys keep blaming Woodward. I saw the net spend of all the top teams across Europe. Manchester United is at number one with over £1billion spent. Chelsea is at 10 or so, real Madrid is at 14. Do you guys want him to spend £2billion before una go agree say dem try? Is it his fault that Sancho and the rest are flopping? Is Sancho, McGuire, and the rest not good buys at the time he was buying them? |
Chelsea need a goalkeeper next season. Mendy's village people are calling for him. |
Echoban:Most persons with common sense. I am not from the south east. I am not voting for a tribe, I am voting for a candidate. |
duro4chang:A level playing field would give you another corrupt incompetent leader because the field will never be truly level. These guys would buy the primaries with dollars and loot you blind when they get in. You no dey pity your condition? People that know what is going on are asking for obi, but an ordinary masses on nairaland is asking for a 'level playing field' so that crooks can win. |
One way or another, obi will emerge as the pdp candidate. |
