Good morning house.. Please I want to fill my DS 160 form *US student visa stuff* there is dis question of address where u gona stay in US. I obviously don't hv any family in san franscisco where my sch is situated so how can I tackle the address ish since I don't want to stay in the school dormitory. Am thinkin of bookin an hotel close to d school jus for few day and then luk for apartment off campus. My question is can I use the hotel address? Don't know if embassy accept those kinda thing as far as student visa is concern. Slimmyman and other gurus in the house please enlighten a brother. Give me the tip on how to go about it. God bless

Different schools with different criteria for admission bro, once it is stated that u can cross from a department to another on d sch admission portal, then u stand an equal chance with other students.

You will need to register for Gre test&also check the school requirement for graduate. Hope this help

Gurus in the house abeg my younger brother wants to study masters in US, although he's an HND holder... So he tried to apply in a school in US but was denied. The school told him they dont accept HND. Please advice urgently needed on what we can do and also are there schools that accept HND.

He will have to evaluate his transcript to make it equivalent to Bsc.

House i need advice ooo, my uncle in the state called me yesterday and told me to leave school(fall out of status) so that i can go work in newyork. before now, this same uncle didn't support my coming to the state, financially and otherwise. but now he wants me to leave school to a state where his not even in. He was saying who is going to pay my tuition, who will do this, who will do that, i said sir, i have gotting 2 jobs on campus, my department has schorship, and more over i have paid half of my tuition(1500) my tuition is about $3k, i dont stay on campus, and my feeding is garanted, accomdation is ok, feeding is ok, but my uncle said i should forget that one, and see to what his telling me. House i need ur advice oo, my uncle wan kill me.

Guy, don't follow your uncle advice,initially he don't support your going to the state why the sudden interest in your affair, relay on God HE will sustain&keep you. More reason I hate discussing my success with extended family thy will only pull you down. Shalom

It does little to change the fact that they disrespect us and have no regard.

Do you know that there is a quota system where they already know how many visas they will give in a day, month and year.

Despite this they feel justified to collect billions from Nigerians in Visa application fees, knowing they wont even give us visa.

I heard the story of one babe they gave visa because her birthday was the same day as the Visa Officers mother.

Another person's visa was refused even though he is CEO of a multi million Naira company.

And then they approved visa for someone earning less than N90000 a month.

Those people need to be called to order.

That is what is favor&mercy which don't consider calibre, more reason I love US embassy
