Please has any one book their visa appointment and paid on the vfs global site recently. my attempt to pay keeps failing and they say you have to wait for another 24 hours to try again. This doesn't make any sense. Whats the purpose of travel? Long stay pre-clearance |

Hi @ICaSNG I have about 1.5 and received 2.5million from my sponsor, i decided to open a euro account and I deposited the 7000 euro into it after changing the money into euro in the black market ( the transaction is explained and referenced in my bank statement). I clearly explained this in my visa application letter and my sponsor also did the same ... the account statement for the euro account is not up to a month ... I hope this doesn’t affect my chances although I and my sponsors naira account is up too 6months ...... I and my sponsor clearly explained source of funds. |

Hi @ICaSNg, I know that even if you use an education bond that you still need to provide your bank statement and that of your sponsor as well as explain source of funds..But what exactly is the importance of using an education bond? 1 Like |

Thanks a lot @ICaSNg, but I don’t think you completely understand the first question.let me try to explain better ... Most of the lump sum received in my account is money from my sponsor to pay for tuition fees and to secure an education bond. All I can explain in this situation is that my sponsor sent money to me to pay for tuition and edubond. I can’t really provide proof for that ... ICaSNg: |

Hi, @ICaSNg My sponsor transferred like 90 percent of my tuition fees and also transferred the equivalent of 7000 euro in Naira into my savings account for education bond . Is it necessary to explain this lump sum considering the fact it was deposited by my sponsor.. 2. Is it necessary to explain a large debit in my savings account or that of my sponsor if the debit is not tuition fee or edubond related? 3. What amount can be regarded as a lump-sum ? |

Hi, Icasng Please how do you process a euro edubond? Can it be done using a naira account in Nigerian banks using a form A or do I have to get the euros in the black market and credit a euro account. Thanks |

Hi Icasng, After the tuition fees have been paid in full and a 7000 euro education bond has been done. Can a balance of 4million in your sponsors account be enough to help secure an irish student visa or rather show sufficient proof of funds. |

[/quote] After paying your full tuition and securing a 7000 edu bond, leaving a balance of about 4 million as your sponsors account ....will this be sufficient for proof of funds. |
