Russians had too much vodka, not surprised. |
panafrican:Germany had built a 2,400 mile network of mines, pill boxes, bunkers, landing obstacles along the coast. Their big guns were protecting Calais. The allies tried to more successfully bomb the bunkers prior to the landings, but poor weather made it very difficult. Since the idea was for it to be a surprise attack landing, that area was not attacked prior. |
panafrican:"illegal" immigration. Even Americans of Mexican descent and ancestry (for generations) are fed up with the illegal and criminal behavior. Border patrol captured 144,000 people illegally crossing the border in the month of May. |
warriboy21:Best thing about Vegas is that during the week, Sunday through Thursday, prices are very cheap. A basic Holiday Inn across the USA is about $100 a night. |
WBoy, not tell you yet that Death Valley has recorded the hottest temperatures on Earth. Make sure you have a lot water and a good auto to visit there. |
Great story!!!! Good photos also. |
I knew China did stuff like this but was not aware about S. Korea. Seems like a better idea to a smaller area first and get the occupancy to reasonable numbers, then do another block or 2. |

Fury after transgender runner claims US women’s college title https://cdni.rt.com/files/2019.06/article/5cf4fcc0dda4c87c3c8b4619.jpg US transgender runner Cece Telferm, who previously competed against men, has become embroiled in controversy after winning the women’s 400m hurdles title – with many fans accusing the athlete of having an unfair advantage. Franklin Pierce University senior Telfer took the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) women’s 400m hurdles title in dominant fashion at the end of May, setting a new personal best of 57.53 and finishing more than a second ahead of rival runners. However, the victory was met with mixed reaction on social media, with many users insisting that Telferm should not have been allowed to compete against women. 2016: Craig Telfer is ranked 200th 2017: Craig Telfer is ranked 390th 2018: Craig Telfer 'transitions to female' 2019: CeCe Telfer is national champion A number of fans fumed that the result of the race was highly predictable, as a mediocre male runner is stronger than even the best female athletes. “This is getting beyond ridiculous. Natural born female sport is now in absolute crisis and if this is permitted to continue unchecked, XX chromosome World and Olympic records will shortly be consigned to history. XX female athletes cannot beat CeCe, it's simply not a fair fight!” one person wrote. Some users suggested that there should be a new division introduced for transgender athletes to ensure fair competition in sport. “There needs to be men’s, women’s and ‘others’ categories then. It has to be a level playing field or it’s just not fair,” one commentator suggested. “Sports need another category—men , women, and transgender. The women are competing with a biological male, in this case. In other words, more muscle just by nature’s biology,” one more comment reads. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIlq85dL0C4 |

The suspect was arrested on Saturday after his mother, 50, identified him Reports suggest she was walking home alone when she was raped 'Victim felt some footsteps from behind,' before alleged incident, police said A man is to appear before South African courts today after he allegedly raped his own mother as she walked home alone from a bar. The suspect was arrested on Saturday after his mother, 50, identified him as the alleged perpetrator of the disgusting attack. Reports in South Africa suggest the man is either 28 or 29 years old News 24 said that the mother was walking in Willowvale, around 400 km north east of Port Elizabeth when she heard footsteps behind her before being accosted. 'It is alleged that the victim was [walking] from a local tavern at Phaphasini Locality, Mboya Village, Willowvale on Friday at about 19:00,' police spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha said. 'She was on her way home. The victim felt some footsteps from behind. She continued walking until the person from behind grabbed her. 'She was dragged far from the road and the suspect accosted her. She was then raped by the suspect.' The accused fled the scene of the alleged crime before his mother identified him to police as her own biological son. Charged with rape, he will appear before the Willowvale Magistrate's Court today. 'Butterworth Cluster Commander Brigadier Ngangema Xakavu strongly condemned the alleged rape of the victim especially by the suspect who was supposed to protect her as his mother,' Captain Manatha added. In another case, in May, Willowvale police arrested a 36-year-old man for allegedly raping a 69-year-old grandmother and her 10-year-old granddaughter, according to local reports. He was tracked down by vigilantes and handed over police, reports said. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7098617/Woman-50-raped-son-walked-home-bar-South-Africa.html |
panafrican:In Europe? Gay sex is legal as is Gay marriage in most of those countries. |
True, but many Europeans are trending this way also. |
No the real reason is because the USA Government and Military don't want to use a network so that the Chinese government can spy on them. Do you think the Chinese government will allow Cisco Systems to build infrastructure in China? Hell no. Hauwei can sell products in the USA, but Government agencies can't use or buy their products. |
MANGAM:DEA investigated him for Smuggling and money laundering a few years ago, did not find enough. His brother is in a US jail awaiting trial. |

What happened in the USA with the government agencies being corrupt, all of the illegal unmasking, spying, FISA warrants...DOJ, FBI, Obama Admin, CIA, etc. that occurred is something I would expect in a Brazil or Latin America. All very Banana Republic stuff. Now that these corrupt people have been fired or resigned ...they are being investigated. It is literally insane that Trump or his campaign was cozy with Russian government to get elected. Trump has been tough as nails against Russia, Iran, Venezuela etc since in office. The FBI was totally in the tank for Hillary, handing out immunity deals to her inner circle and not prosecuting her. As Secretary of State Hillary set a private email server, never setting up a .GOV. All of the top secret and classified material that illegally went through her server and then was copied to Huma's laptop was ILLEGAL as all hell. And everyone knew about that including Obama. Stunning. |
happney65:Mueller: “If we had confidence that the president had committed a crime, we would have said so,” -- “Charging the president with a crime was therefore not an option we could consider.” |
Probably an improvement though. |
https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/congo-ebola-attack-1.5153495 East Congo villagers kill Ebola health worker, loot clinic A mob in eastern Congo killed an Ebola health worker and looted a clinic, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday, underscoring a breakdown in public trust that is hampering efforts to contain the deadly virus. Attacks on treatment centres by armed groups and mistrust among residents who view the disease as a conspiracy have become major impediments to containing Congo's worst-ever Ebola outbreak. The hemorrhagic fever has so far killed 1,281 people, according to the latest ministry figures, and shows no signs of slowing its spread, with dozens of new cases a week. The ministry said that on Saturday residents of the village of Vusahiro, in the Mabalako district, "rose up and attacked the local Ebola response team, made up of village residents who were trained to carry out certain response activities." A hygienist from the infection prevention and control team died of his injuries when he was transferred to hospital, it said. Responders, healthcare workers, and community members are increasingly subjected to threats from armed groups in hotspots such as Katwa and Butembo, the World Health Organization says, complicating efforts to contain Ebola. U.N. officials say that stopping targeted attacks on health workers requires untangling deep-rooted political problems in eastern Congo. Dialogue has led to a recent reduction in large-scale attacks on health workers, WHO emergencies chief Mike Ryan told reporters in Geneva on Tuesday. U.N. names emergency coordinator to boost fight against Ebola in Congo Ebola could spread beyond Congo containment zone if attacks continue: WHO Still, an uphill battle remains. Between January and early May, there were 42 attacks on health facilities, with 85 workers either injured or killed, according to WHO figures from May 3. Health workers have been attacked six times in the last eight days, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told the closing session of the annual World Health Assembly in Geneva on Tuesday. "These attacks demonstrate that the ongoing Ebola outbreak is more than a health crisis," he said. "Ending it takes a coordinated and strengthened effort across the U.N. system...with strong leadership from the government." |

lindaayim:If you get a degree in those fields one will always have a job. I would caution for people to stay away from the For Profit colleges though. Their accreditation is different than typical Community Colleges/State Universities/Privates, and they charge a lot. The least expensive degree course is 2 years at Community College (that feeds into the State University system) then 2 years at State U for a bachelors. |
There is no KKK in the US anymore. Sometimes a few guys get dressed and march around a town square and the people protesting them is 50 times larger. They were a domestic terrorist group many years ago. |
