Jobyruz: You are on the waiting list for MSc admission in the department due to incomplete documentation. Kindly update your documents asap.Disregard if you have done so...I just got that SMS from the dept of food tech pls what does that mean cos I have lost hope and Carried on You don't have to lose hope. You are not the only one affected by the late recommendation. The question is, did you : upload the right documents, make the cut off mark for your department, submit your transcript and your referees report complete? If the answer to all these is YES, you have no reason to lose hope |

Pulcherdee: Hey, please I went to the bank and they said my invoice number is incomplete, that it is suppose to be 9 digits, can you help me check urs if it is 9-digits? Plus did u make photocopies of all ur other documents for clearance? That's the school certificate and co. Then did the clearance take time? I'm sorry for the plenty questions, please. Thank you Mine is seven digit for the acceptance fee and nine digit for purchase of form. * Yes, I made photocopies. It will be requested for by the lady who'd clear you. You are also advised to have copies of all the printed forms (admission letter in particular) cuz you won't be able to access your application portal once you've been cleared . *Clearance doesn't take time. You should be done between thirty minutes. It takes up to thirty minutes because your certificates will be withheld for some couple of minutes ( I guess to verify it's authenticity). Hope I answered your one hundred and one questions? |

Positivist: I paid the 13th too but hadn't been scheduled for clearance yet. I paid through a bank branch in Lagos. (The payment was acknowledged on the portal actually.) Is that the reason I've not been scheduled for clearance yet? Since your payment was acknowledged, you have no reason to fret. I really don't know how the PG school go about the clearance business but one thing I'm sure of is, it has nothing to do with the bank you made the payment through. Maybe, just maybe the clearance is done by random selection. Keep calm, you'll receive the clearance schedule mail soon |

I see you've finally been scheduled for the much anticipated clearance, congratulations, my Course mate (hope that's the right word) Don't forget to make an extra copy of all the printed forms cuz you won't have access to your application portal once you are done with clearance |

Stonesz25: Wow, this is funny... UI s method in pg admissions is something else. Some have forgotten about recommendations and some don't even know when to expect it. Is it the department or the Pg school that is responsible for such mess? Cos I believe that they know what s going on Blame it on the snail-paced departments. The PG school can only act on the lists forwarded by the departments |

Don't be a killjoy. Yes, it's not an "automatic license to gaining admission" but it's an "automatic license to kissing 'NOT ADMITTED' goodbye mykeaji: Thank God for all the good result here. Those who scored above 90 u must be really good. The aim of d test is to test Ur English proficiency. It's not an automatic license to gaining admission into UI. D main issue is been admitted to Ur program of choice which I think is hugely dependent on d degree(2.1,2.2,1st,3rd) u graduated with. As I said "I THINK". Look guys Am not consoling myself cos I didn't do bad either (61). I will finally be calm when I see that my admission eligibility reads TRUE!!! God bless all... |
