OP, the Gelegele seaport has been in the pipeline for a long time. Hope the project sees the light of day. Is there a motorable road to Gelegele from Benin. Also does the govt have any intention of rehabilitating the Siluko River Port . It was really a very useful port when it was functional and immensely boosted the localeconomy of the Iguobazuwa-Siluko axis. It also provided alternative means of transportation of goods from Lagos to Benin back then.

bros ehn if I ever get to meet U ehn, I will buy U enough Booz, to the extent U no go fit waka, some years ago during the past administration me and my brothers discussed alot about this exact port U just mentioned, coz we where planning to start a palm farming and a plantain plantation, in large scale and the our village where ir would be located was actually along that siluko road, intact my brother actually told me that in the 70's when cocoa farming was a big thing to our family they actually made use of that port..uts so sad that so many things in this country, or should I say this region is been neglected...its actually time we start to think about been export oriented actually.
