See I’m not here to advice you, and I’m not asking you to do the same thing I did, but let me tell you one thing,m. If you coming here looking for advice, you’re either going to get scared or confused and before you know it the time to repay back that loan will be upon you.... you’re a man nobody should decide for you what u want. Decide for yourself and stick to your plan, I saw someone who posted how he went to France and was stranded that’s funny, I know people who got to Europe knew no one but made a life for them selves, February last year I didn’t have iota that amount in my account, but I had my mind made up on what I wanted in life and I took the risk, I got to a foreign land, with not up to 200USD and I knew no one here.. I haven’t gotten everything I wanted yet but trust me it is the best decision I ever made. If traveling is what your mind wants take the risk but be sure that it is what you truly want. Don’t allow anybody to convince you to do otherwise

I saw this thread, about the United States giving relief materials to Nigerians thrown in the streets in China, I was going to just forget about it; and allow Nigerians believe the lies like they always do without confirmation. but until I saw that people were already arguing about who cares about Nigeria more between China and America.

First of all None if them give a Bleep about Nigeria not even at this time.
Secondly the United States didn’t send any relief materials to Nigerians in the streets.
It was just the collective efforts of Black people living in China, myself included.
The movement was started by an african American Lady, who felt bad about the situations created a wechat group and added every blacks who felt like giving something and the turn up was really overwhelming even though we ended up deleting the group cos like the blacks people that we are we couldn’t co-ordinate ourselves.

SO PLEASE CAN WE STOP SPREADING THE LIES AND GIVING CREDITS TO PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY DONT CARE ABOUT US?

Okay no long stories, Corona virus as we know it started in wuhan China, and in all honesty we have to commend the Chinese government on how they were able to combat the virus giving their very huge population. But we can’t deny the fact that this virus took a huge hit on the country.
Now sitting here in my balcony over looking the vibrant city of Guangzhou and seeing life gradually return back to normal, it got me thinking, And I just got to realize that if proper Care is not taken we are doomed in Africa. And here are my reasons.

1, THE STRAINS OF CORONA VIRUS :according to Chinese researchers the virus is a family of ABCDE, with C being the son ofA and B and DE being the children of C, but in over 80k cases of corona virus in China only the C strain was found, which was why it wasn’t fatal to young people and Blacks.
But guess what some countries in Europe and Africa Are recording the A and B strain which I actually more fatal. How that happened? Topic for another day.

2 AFRICA CAN NEVER BE PREPARED ENOUGH: for a country as industrious as China to suffer this much, Shows that Africa should be prepared for the worse, reason being how many countries in Africa can build a functioning hospital in 6 months? Some even can’t in 2 years, or how many of them have factories that would be able to produce protective gears and testing kits in such a short time? The answer is none, so we are are still going to rely on China, given the fact that they don’t really care about us, they going to send us Used ones that I’m sure of and our government will gladly accept, either way we are doomed.

3, LACK OF PROPER WAY TO PASS INFORMATION: in China, put a message on wechat, and I can assure you that 95 percent of Chinese if not more would definitely get the message, but is it so in any african country? Or can we even do anything like that? If it’s done in Nigeria I’m sure too many fake news is going to make us hate it so much.

4. CONTROL AND FEAR: and last on my list, Control. You see an average Chinese might be very stubborn, but one thing is certain once an order comes from Beijing the fear factor in them makes them obey and there by becoming very easy to control, but in Africa Nigeria for example.
Until u involve the military or begin to beat us like Goats, we would never listen. to us until our next door neighbor or a close relative feels the impact, then it’s always a joke. So we can’t be scared. And this is one reason I think this virus has already bitten harder than we think .

In conclusion beloved Nigerians the only way to combat the spread of this virus is to Stay home, always wash your hands and avoid touching your face as much as possible. It’s going to be difficult but we’ve Always survived and we will always survive.
