ChriGo: .....Letter from your sister in Canada?.....Not a good move....is ur sister a permanent resident holder or a citizen?.....how good is ur letter of intent?.....you can't emphasize in ur letter of intent that you'll be coming back after studies while your sister is chopping life here in canny ....you think say VO go believe say you go come back?....... Lol...I just realized it was a silly move. One of my greatest mistakes. |

Jijola: Since you claim you're working, why didn't you include documents proving that such as promotion letter, pay slips, tax clearance, account etc? This is more important where U sponsor yourself, but it's also important where U claim to be working.A work I'd and Employment letter aren't sufficient to show that.Since you're working, they expect you to have a substantial amount in your account. Moreover, was there a study-leave letter? Without it,then it means you're absconding from work. Thanks, I think I see where the mistakes are from. I don't have much experience with this, and I expected the Agent I used to advice me properly. If I get you right, ur saying in my next application I should include: My payslips and tax clearance My own bank statement and property doc? I didn't have a study leave letter, so ill include that too I should not include my sis as a sponsor for accommodation. I included c of I of my prospect employer sha. I'm also thinking my letter of intend was not good enough too, maybe I should put it here for u guys to vett. |

akanni: Yea, she provided evidence that she is there genuinely, she and her husband work there. but she did not provide statement of account. I didn't provide study leave approval from my present employer. I only provided a letter from my prospect employer stating that they will sponsor me, and they intend to employ me after my studies. I am not married . I studied accounting as a first degree, I have 1yr + working experience. And I'm going for bsc in General business management. My sponsor had over 10m University of Lethbridge don't allow students to pay part of tuition, until they obtain approval letter from canadian Embassy. |

sashafierce: OMG! That's just scary I went to the Embassy today, I was told to come back on Friday for the passport that was dispatched from Accra on Wednesday, because they have not sorted everything. Do you think they might just send me a mail for Medicals before Friday?? I'm soo scared. Seriously hoping my application is not refused. |

Can someone help me out please??... Is a mail usually sent informing you of medicals? Or it's at the point of picking up your passport that you know if your application have been approved or not. I applied for study permit on 16th July, my status online as at Wednesday was that my processed passport have been dispatched. I have been hoping to receive a mail for medicals, but nothing yet. I'm kinda scared. Plsssssssssssssss those of you that have done medicals, was a mail sent to you for medicals or it was at the point of collecting your passport you were told to go for medicals? |
