Wow! Congrats, finally good news again ....is it for student visa? When did they apply?

Its not Cuz its too late to apply, its the person's luck that he/she got a response on time, its just unfortunate that it was a negative response, I remember someone on this thread got his medical call three days after biometrics, that was earlier this year

Am asking this on behalf of someone....Can an application be refused js 3 days after doing biometrics? He gt a letter of refusal today n he did his biometric on monday and the unusual thing baffling is that nofin was ticked in the refusal letter....strange!
Anybody don experience this kind thing before ?

Maybe it's because it's already too late to apply for study permit, cos normally they won't just reject within 3days. #thats what i think tho

I still believe these VOs are not out to chastise anybody in particular. And I don't believe there is any such thing as "injury time" blanket negative decisions as well. In fact, I think it's commendable that reasons are given for their unfavorable decisions; at least you can get a hint of where your application went wrong and then reapply. I know how disastrous application refusals could be (I've been there) especially if you have planned your whole life while banking on the visa approval but I think it's unfair to spread fears about a weapon of mass destruction just because shots were fired. Besides, this is an online forum filled with anonymous members; we shouldn't always take everyone's words as 100% truth. I mean, it's easier to make the VO look like the bad guy than to take full responsibility for omitting something important from your application.

Applications are treated on a case by case basis. Pls let's be positive about things rather than make negative assumptions.

For those that were recently delayed, I empathize... but don't bask in it for too long; move on and make your next move. There is definitely and always a way to fix it.

Please what is CIC upto ooh, is it just people within this forum that are not getting good news?? Do you guys have friends or know people outside this forum that have been getting medical calls for the past 3weeks?? We just need to know if people within have been refused because of their mistakes or its a mass refusal thing from CIC??

Don't be @ cufs just be confident dat God will cover every loopholes so that the VO won't find any reason not to call u for medicals. Dis is your second time right? U must have learnt from your first mistake. All the best to u and all medical awaitees

Bt from dia explanation, de say.... as an applicant for a study permit, you must establish that your intentions are bona fide and that you will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for your stay. You must satisfy an officer that you will not contravene the conditions of admission and that you do not belong in a category of persons inadmissible to Canada under the Act. You must satisfy an officer that you will meet the requirements of Part 12 of the Regulations, including satisfying the officer that you have adequate financial resources to pay tuition fees and support your stay in Canada.

This is really scary.. seems they are refusing everyone now ooh.. OMG!

hmmm.... So I was in a training all day. Phones on silence and no internet. The training finished by 5:15pm and I saw 3 missed calls. My mind went straight to CIC. I rushed to my mail box and saw a mail from them. It directed me to my portal and I saw:

I saw a new message that had my medical form attached and I started running like a mad man round the office while on the phone with my folks. Join me in praising God ooooo!!!!!!!!

Congrats to all that recently got their TRVs,and to all who were recently denied pls never loose hope, brave up, repackage and re-fire; and finally to those awaiting medical calls and TRVs, God's grace is sufficient for y'all.

Please, kindly note the following:
- In the annual cycle of CDHC, there is a period called "INJURY TIME" (with the assumption that CIC works with a quota-based system for every country each year), which unfortunately falls within the processing time of winter applicants...During this period, everywhere is hot with regards to the outcome of applications (to the extent that applications are even denied after medicals)...and applications are denied based on intangible and silly reasons...but what can we do
I would like encourage us all to have maximum faith in God @ dis point believing that He'll see us thru in our application and I pray the outcome of this year will be lighter.

Coming to the duration of application before medicals, you guys should relax and be happy(believing God has done it for you) cos the time frame has been reduced reasonably. I did my medicals by this time last year for an application I submitted on july 17th, 2013(it took my application almost 15weeks to be called for medicals, before then some guys that submitted 2/3 weeks after me had already got their visas). You could imagine the tension I went thru that period. ALL that matters is ur TRV @ last.

Once God has made a decision in ur life, it'll surely come to pass...all He needs from us is Faith and to trust in Him.[/b]

You should be congratulating him na ...lol... He was called for medicals since, he is just stating what he submitted.

Abeg eeh, my dear people I've been wondering. How do you know if your application is successful if you applied through paper route, and you already did upfront medicals?? Do they send an approval mail? Or it's when you collect your passport that you know your faith
