Amen. My husband is able to take care of himself cos his mum taught him to cook and all. It is about understanding. The world has gone beyond men just stretching legs and acting Alphalike. God help your future wife too.

Amen to your prayer for yourself from here. God has already answered my prayer on that regard.

Please make sure you tell anyone you're dating all these before marriage so he can prepare himself, thank you.

who is talking about alpha here?

STop dragging the many mentions of God into your claims since God never said a man cannot cook for himself even in marriage. undecided

Auntie, its not about cooking, read her post very well, marriage is better for worse for some of us.

Any law against a man cooking his own food especially when the woman has gone out to work and fend for his sorry ass. Even if she is talking to a man, and so. Is there a law against that. Someone that should be massaging wife's back for even working for both of them instead of joining his pityful self drinking and complaining. Some women would have carried their bags and disappeared. Nonsense.

Thank God I didn't marry someone like you, may God help your husband to be

Interesting! So, rather than call the cops to save her at the time of the attack, she should have allowed her attacker to beat the sheet out of her and then if she survived the assault, she should then report him to people(all so the criminal assault can stay covered up), or moved out afterward... WOW... Nigerian culture indeed seems tailored towards protecting culprits and not victims at all. No wonder! undecided

How did you know she called the cops at point of attack, with which phone? the one smashed? This is Nigeria, twist it any way you like, her marriage need serious prayer. even in mediation to lay man, police and court is not the first point of call for someone that want peaceful resolution and stable existing relationship
I want to believe its someone like you that misled her.

Like I say, the man is very wrong, his action is totally wrong but for the marriage, the woman have complicated everything.

This is conflicting at best! He did wrong but she should bring people to apologize to him? How would you feel if your sister called you up after being pummelled by her husband to come beg him? undecided

YES, if my sister is in Nigeria and still interested in her marriage.
This is Nigeria, This is marriage and this is culture.

All these talks would've been avoided if she reported her husband or move out with the kids without getting him arrested.
The man 4ked up but her action put her marriage off completely.

1, what he did is very wrong, very wrong of him. Sorry about all the abuses and violence.

2. For your Marriage, if you're still interested in the marriage, get elders, friends and people he respect to come talk and apologise to him for you, tell him in their presence that you love and cherish your husband that its fear that made you do what you did.
.May God help your home and marriage

So this question is for the men, I was watching this movie, and this woman despite having a sweet home cheated on her husband.

The husband loved his wife so much but after finding out about her infidelity told her it was over. The wife couldn't bare it, she just jumped in front of a moving car but luckily she survived it.

Now the husband is finding it difficult to call it a quit considering the amazing children at stake.

Would you divorce your wife for cheating on you even though she is an amazing woman?

Aftermath of the movie, the man took back his wife after so much pleading from the wife's mom. Turns out the wife was raped when she was 10, and that act seemed to have made her addicted to sex. The husband couldn't go the marathon sex. Moreover, their sex life became boring. It was always in the bedroom but this woman wanted to be banged in the kitchen, hotel, any other out of the norm setting. I can’t really say with all certainty that i can take back a cheating wife but i wouldn't want a broken home. I want my kids raised by both parents.

No one prays for it but yes, I can.

I always say it is a blessing from God to desire to do good and even more good even in the face of adversity!

That is God at work, that you be like Him as He said.

Let all men see God, even in little us.

What a mighty Good Thing and a Privilege to be like Him.

Do not lose Him, brother as you encouraged another so do I encourage you.

Remember these words for I hold them dear: "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." Rev 22 :11-12

God bless you more

Thank you for this.

When I was going through hardship and wickedness because I found that I was suffering for being like the Op, I was thankful that I had at least one person who told me not to change.

Today, I am very thankful, for God has turned all my pains and disappointments into blessings and appointments.

All who see me today are amazed.

Even I am Amazed!

Thus I borrow the words of my brother in the Lord, Paul and say "let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Thank you too dear and thanks for not allowing people to change who you are, it's not easy but it pays to be good.
Romance / Re: Is It Normal To Feel This Way? by culf: 2:49pm On Jul 19, 2023
Hmmm, just ignore her provocation (it might be the pregnancy), nice people are always taken advantage of, it shouldn't change who you are, always do what makes you happy but avoid people that will want to add

Let go please, it's not worth it. Never marry a man you love too deeply, he'll take advantage of your love and hurt you if he realizes you love him too much, men don't appreciate women that genuinely and deeply love them, they prefer a touch of stubborness laced with a caring habit. Very funny gender

that's not true sir, maybe you but not everybody.

@op, try to move on and reduce the blame on yourself, its past already but next time when you see a good guy hold him well o, forget that you're the lady and go for it, that is why the so called 'bad girls' are getting married every weekend more than the good ones.
