The batteries are not refurbished. They are actually genuine Dell batteries

The battery spoiling wasn't even an option in my head so that was not why I asked my supplier for return warranty.

I asked for warranty because someone needed it in Jos but I didn't know if it would work on his model. So he asked me if he could return it incase it didn't work for him.

If at all I was to say to Jeffrey anything about warranty, it would be "what if e no work on their model of laptop?" But when he wanted to buy the first battery, he came with his laptop and I believed I told him to because I always do when people call me. Since then, I saw him as someone that knows what he is doing because he told me he sells laptops too and he has been buying the batteries from me without complain of compatibility.

Note that some people came with their laptops and the battery was not compatible after we tried it, I returned it back that same day or max the next day without any issue.

When you go to the market to buy things hardly any seller would just start talking about warranty when you didn't ask. Jeff never asked me anything about warranty.

If Jeff successfully sold the batteries for 20k each, it's his luck but I know what he paid me for the 4 batteries is 48k and I can only pay back half of the worth of the battery.

in business we lose some and gain some.it is obvious this is a normal transaction gone wrong.since u said u made 2k each from those batteries and seeing how everything pans out.it is better u see this as wrong business and refund the buyer the profit u made from those sales.and believe this particular deal never happened.no need to overflog the issue.

We collected 30 laptops first after test running them for a week, we collected 20 more.

It's on this thread I am knowing that attached batteries came from a different source. I thought they came together with the laptop.

If not called stupidity, then it must be foolishness. Im not here to insult anyone or spoil anyone business but what I'm seeing here is either your clients are stupid or grossly foolish.
I have been following this your matter and other pickers for some times but recently i think you are becoming very insensitive.
I cant imagine how you always live with yourself in this kind of self memtality but i cant blame you, i blame your clients who have items with you way back as february which is yet to be shipped and they are still going to your so called status to buy your displayed items which you dont care to ship once you get their money. To me, its gross foolishness on their part.
I worked in the US, and I'm into shipping stuff, all you pickers are ripping these people off seriously. i do wonder if they are stealing the money or possibly not working for the money. I mean, trully, its only in NY that cargo is going on but no shipping line had added 1 kobo to shipping fee despite your charging them 200% profit over each laptop because laptop is $16-$18 per laptop you are charged but you and others charged your clients $50 (CRAZY), phone is less than $4 but you people charge $20, is that not enough to atleast consider the days and month these people have lost and just spend $8 each to send their goods to NY and ship out for these people to continue their business life, but rather you all delayed their goods and still intending to make gross profit out of their predicament (what a true nigerians(selfish blood)) by charging them $20 extra.
That can be considered as your business though, but to you clients, are you guys stupid? (not an insult please). He told you he is not shipping but he is selling to you online, holding your goods and your money at the same time, and you think he will be eager to ship? He made his money already, only you are not unreasonable ones that suppose to know that you dont buy what is not on shipping or have a specific day of receiving it. So that if you dont receive it that day and price drop in the market (which will soon because over 1386 pieces of Iphones were shipped out this friday), you can easily get your money back from him. But rather, he is selling his goods but hold it down without any attempt to ship, either you guys are stupid or grossly foolish, I am sorry to say.

Pickup and deal hunting has rules, and I will never knowingly go against those rules.

I bought those batteries 10k each since I think on 9th of May when he paid and sold them to him for 12k each. The seller has refused to accept return from me. Jeffreyzz only complaint to me on the 26th of May.

Hmmm... This issue is somehow that I don't know what to comment but this is my own experience.

We recently recruited some newbie programmers for training purposes so we needed laptops with outstanding battery performance. Hotdealz was contacted. Base on my previous transactions with him, I was confident to buy from/through him and he suggested Dell latitude e6430 with the extra attachment battery said it would give roughly 20hours batterylife.

Hotdealz supplied us 50 units of the laptops and the extra attachments batteries with 130 watts chargers. I asked him for warranty because they seem too cheap (laptop plus dual batteries not costing upto 100k each?) and I have come to know that hotdealz doesn't own most of the things he sells but he describes them just the way they are and always delivers.

He gave me warranty base on two conditions which are;

* You must only use the chargers I supplied with the systems.

* Avoid draining the batteries to 0% as it is not a good idea to do that.

It's over a month now and the laptops and attachment batteries (the ones Jefferyzz is having p with) are still working as expected. We did not experience any problems with them at all. We bought 50 of it! e be things lol

It doesn't even take upto 5hours to know a bad battery. OP paid on the 9th of May, collected the batteries on the 13th of May and complained on the 26th of May. But he's now making it look as if he just got the battery and they are not working. I will never sell anything to anyone without me testing it.

Important fact: OP has experience in this battery cos he personally uses the battery and this means he also uses a Dell laptop that's compatible with the battery

Is he trying to say he collected the batteries and didn't bother to test them on his own laptop to know if they are faulty or not till on the 26th of May?

It happened just the way he said it.

These are not batteries that was picked from any of the pickers. They all came from Alaba international. When I asked for written warranty from this seller, he said he doesn't accept returns that I should test the battery before buying. I did tested all the batteries by draining them on laptop and recharging them to 100% with genuine Dell charger before I paid for the batteries.

When OP bought these batteries, he never asked for warranty also, I don't understand how a battery I drained and recharge twice to 100% would suddenly drain and not charge.

OP is not the only one that complained. A guy in Ogun state also complained too but at the point of sale, I noticed the guy in Ogun state is using a Chinese knockoff charger which I advised him against. Cos from experience, I know such charger can damage battery or laptops charging IC.

Now the seller has refused to take back the battery insisting I tested before buying and not willing to refund me. My profit selling this battery is 2k per one. How do I cough out the money he is asking for?

I have my icloud username and password. I even logged in from a web browser but the status on my phone says offline. I turned on Lost mode (which is pending) and placed a message of reward and a phone number to call, if found.
