adedayourt:maybe, if all your imagination can make of someone drying his clothes is that they got stained during a quickie. |
Why you want him back 1. It has nothing to do with love! He broke up with you, I mean he dumped you, how could you ever love someone like that ever again? Unless love's nuts well, love is nuts.2. You want him to make the break up feel less painful. You want him to hold your hand, look you in the eyes and kiss you goodbye, make the breakup a memorable one. You crazy? Who does that? Well, in the movies yea. 3. You want him to feel how you feel right now. You feel horrible, you're delusional, you're anxious, you're literally restless, making wishes, checking every social network and stalking him like many crazy psychos do. Yea, that's what I'm trying to tell you, you're developping symptoms of a mental problem and you wish he was too. 4. You wish he would change his mind so you would break up with him and get the last laugh literally, like " hahahaaaa...in your face, you really thought I wanted you back?" 5. You want him to tell him how awful the sex was;how he didn't know what to...where to... and how to... and when to... Lol 6. You want to know what his family and friends are saying about the break-up, what he's been telling them. You wish they could hear your own side of the story. 7. You wish you were irreplaceable. You always felt so until he burst your bubble! Ha...! 8. You have never been dumped before, never thought you would be. Hahaaa... Sorry. ![]() 9. You always thought he was "the one" how could he not be? Duh! Everyone's "the one" cutie, until you get your head outta the clouds and start thinking straight ![]() 10. You never ever ever want to see him with another girl especially not one who's prettier, yea, who's prettier than you are (who were you thinking) ![]() |
sojiboy:No I'm not sure Christy told me because I never said she did... Considering u're so highly placed and know the LI by her first name, you should also know she's on leave and her duties as an LI handed over to another lady whose name I don't know. Her current position, whether temporary or permanent qualify her as an LI doesn't it? The lady said so,u re free to call upon me however soon. I quiver with fear... Final 'word':Nonsense rubbish! Mtcheeew! |
spycamera:I just learnt from from the LI that the motive behind the headcount is to investigate and discover ISIS recruits working undercover as corpers :/ |
sojiboy:Ayaf signed oooo... Pheew! |
Parce que je suis en route Abia to get my head counted. NYSC Head-count palavar! |
sojiboy:On my way, just passed 9th Mile. Last month during july/Aug. Clearance, dats hw someone signed on my name. I'm diligently praying for that kind of mistake right now ehn! Whether no be my signature o make biro just show for the space. Lol |
Happiness87:LOL. Nah,my reason for travelling considerably justifying Isn't it a reasonable excuse if I told my LI I had to take some time off the village life and solitude to go and flex with family and friends a tiny little bit? I've been away only two weeks. Hehehe... |
Chibabi:Lol. One village in Umuahia south called Nsirimo. What about you? |
Happiness87:Yea,I am ![]() |
Over a thousand viewers on this topic! LOL. If I were to die from panic I would be far gone by now. Phone rings,I pick it smiling... ''Dora start coming back, they 're doing head count today 'n tomorrow!'' shuuu...! Well,am still in Benue, finding a vehicle to Abia around past 10am proved futile so I'm leaving first thing tomorrow |
haibe:I see. So how's the jungle? Lol. Are you also required to submit forms with your monthly clearance enlisting atleast 10 people you've successfully registered in your community? |
I learnt about u-report while I was in the NYSC Orientation camp,Abia. We were not properly sensitised or educated about the program or perhaps I didn't listen very well to gain sufficient knowledge about it,but I registered for it. After camp,to sign our clearance for June allowance at the L.G,we were asked to submit our clearance form and attached to it a copy of a u-report form with atleast 10 people's names and numbers. Ignorantly or others due to laziness and non-chalance,we filled the form with our fellow corp members' names and contacts and submitted. During the last CDS meeting however,we were asked to re-do the june u-report process as it was discovered that our enlisted contacts were invalid. Out of curiosity,I browsed about u-report and I now have sufficient information to my advantage and also to use for the sensitisation and education of the general public. The Knowledge;we are supposed to sensitise and 'register' people not just collect numbers at random to fill our forms. Well this knowledge is more beneficial to the corpers who are yet to understand what u-report is.(While some are actually ignorant about it others are deliberately non-chalant)As a corp member and having acquired this knowledge,I want to use this medium to encourage you all to register. What is U-report? U-report is a free sms-based system that allows young people to speak out on what is happening in communities. It is a messaging tool allowing anyone from any community anywhere in the world to respond to polls, report issues, support child rights and work as positive agents of change on behalf of people in their country/community. The aim is to check development in communities and work towards improving the standard of these communities. It works in collaboration with UNICEF and other organisations. How to register on U-report. You can register on any network by texting "join" to 244530. Encourage others to register too. It begins with you. You can browse U-report for more information. |
360frolic:see Abigail o! i knw d 'normal' corper from NACC lodge Abia |
thisisayus:Nah,not definitely... How many get retained after serving in Urban areas though? I'm currently serving in a rural area,I'm enjoying all the benefits the op listed above;I am the first 'French' teacher at a private sec.sch.here in Nsirimo,Abia. My students and the teachers alike are very enthusiastic about learning French. And I am motivated to do my best.I plan to use this environment and opportunity as a platform for self-improvement in the best way possible. One may not be accessible because of his location, but he can find a job with the necessary skills and professional experience. There re opportunities alright, one just has to find them, that's where extra hard work comes in.It doesn't ve to be 'retention' to be a good job. I think... |
I have a similar goal in mind;renovating the 6 classroom that is the whole infrastructure and the school itself. Going through this thread now has killed my enthusiasm for community service. I will do my best. Most of these posts are just plain discouraging. It's a pity really |
My Uncle gave me his iphone 5 after I lost my phone. Me I don't know anything about iphones o. Considering its an adult's phone,no single social application is inside,he obviously used it only for calls and mails. So I went to app. Store and tried downloading whatsapp but couldn't,got a pop-up msg that I needed ios 6 to be able to run the app.same with camera 360 and other apps. Checked the phone version:3.1.3(7E18). How do I update the phone IOS as it doesn' t have an update option in the settings panel like the latest iphones? Please I need help,as it is now the phone is just like nokia torch |
Raylight2:It's a good thing you have a goal already. Nope, not your personal finance at all.In the course of the orientation camp you would be given books about the four cardinal programmes of the NYSC including a handbook about CDS. It is stated in the book that on no account should a corp member finance a project with personal funds. So your source of funding should be keystakeholders. Getting sponsors is the major part of the project, you would have to appeal for funds. Wish us all the best |
Babysho:Okay. We should have more of this and often |
ejihand1:(f) no procedure. I just noticed that even after my mb was exhausted pages were still loading,so I kept browsing 'n browsing till nw |
Babysho:Same with me. Didn't know about any free offer before now. I've Been browsing for about a week on my mtn sim without mb or airtime. Even right now, havn't tried downloading though |
Fertilenigeria:Wow! This is motivational. Thank you. Alot |
haibe:Yea,Batch A,stream I |
Fertilenigeria:Thank you very much. Yes,I know I'm not supposed to use personal finance. Its the fundraising strategies I need please. How did you get funds? Who did you appeal and who were those willing to/enthusiastic about sponsoring, donating. Thank you |
haibe:I read your thread about being posted to a jungle, kinda funny, lol. I had a similar experience. When I first received my posting letter,I'd mixed feelings, considering I dnt knw anywhere in Abia. I was just anxious to go and knw what the place is like. Kai! The proprietor no try at all,the name of that school is a bait;"National sec.sch",I'm sure you can imagine what I imagined...Na im I climb okada,we pass all the fine fine houses come d enter bush,my countenance changed from anxiety to annoyance. When I got to the school I begged the proprietor to give me rejection letter,he refused, plus the fact that am the 1st French corper they've ever had,im no gree sam sam! I cried o. But I've embraced the place now and working towards doing my best in every way. You should too ![]() |
I got to Abia state highly enthusiastic about 'service'. By service,I don't mean the short term for NYSC,I mean it in its actual sense. I intend to serve with all my heart and leave my footprints in the sand of time. My PPA is in a village secondary school with a population of about 70. The school infrastructure is an uncompleted building that lacks facilities, basic amenities,I'm sure you can imagine. My aim of creating this thread is to appeal to outgoing corper(batch B),batch C and ex-corpers who engaged in Personal CDS projects and successfully accomplished them to give me ideas on how to start and complete one. How to apply for and easily get funds. I'm considering renovating the classroom block and staff room. Its a small school. Thank you for your contributions. |
