onegentleguy:
The only likely explanation for the change in tone/revert with the 1st 2 post above and the most recent below is because with those 2, u had the coy, but with the last(ur post today), u no longer do !!
I find it really interesting that u did put out the 1st 2 post above when UACN was selling for near the same N8(above N7), before... grin grin
I am also struggling to find a better meaning to the words; 'contrasting' and 'contradictory' given the parts in bold.

I would've asked for an explanation, but then I remembered that u will most probably come back here to justify why the same company should even trade above N8 when u re-enter the stock. wink cheesy grin

While I am not against ur unconventional and Machiavellian strategy(or that of any individual for that matter), I think it will be best if we don't put out these sought of antithetical statements for the sake of the new and susceptible ones in our midst.
...u can always follow through with ur strategy without putting them out here. That way, u won't appear to be delusive(which I presume u are not)

Again, pls kindly note that I do not have anything against u.
In the end, we all have our different approach to valuing an asset. And for us, this UACN Q3 financial print still showed a lot of POSITIVE with the drive for VALUE(risk-return margin in view ) wink cheesy grin
Anyone in doubt or who's uncomfortable with holding this valuable asset should pls, sell off their stakes.

Regards.
firstly i have no uacn in my portfolio and i have never bought the stock before, those who know me and my portfolio can confirm this to u. i am not here to promote any stock or bad mouth any. i dont own more than two stock at any time and am not a trader meaning it take time for me to buy or sell stock but i come here often pointed out to more than 10 stocks . it fun to me

about ur quoted post. re read my yesterday post. thank God i put N8 plus. i still stand with the Sept. 17 post u quoted. both sept 17 post and yesterday post are saying the same things. not that uacn have no numbers atall. let me help u to understand my post well

when i made first post u quoted in Sept Uacn was trading within my fairp according to my bedsheed o grin the reason i reply Uchetoba in comparison with UPDC runs but uacn move outside my fp when it begin trading above N7 so i have no numbers to back it up and i notice memeber here are buying around N7 mercy & co with hope of moving 200% with d merger/acquisition talk. so in order not to spoil party i kept quiet, reason for my post yesterday.

to you u think the Q3 release yesterday was superb abi. ok o anyway except they bring the merger/acquision talk back again i dont see uacn reach N8 for now

just know that i dont window dressing any stock here whether in my portfolio or not. example was Dangote Sugar, check my yesterday post on it based on Q3. i posted what i see as fp here without over stated and i told the house i will be selling it to buy more good stock.

UACN RESULT BIG HIT BELOW THE BELT??

This result is a big dent to UACN. I wonder how UAC Properties will be able to survive as a stand alone entity.
the reason i didnt comment on the stock since. the Q2 doesn't support the move to the N8 plus they pump it to and most pple here are too emotional to d stock not here to spoil their party. them no day take ear hear merger/acquisition talk grin

patient is the key in this business. over five days i have been on d sideline watching...

my chart telling me oyel is bullish but it too far from my buying levels. buying immediately mean i would be risking too much SL cos i have to put my SL below the LEVELS 54.87 though i expecting pullback to my levels before the real bullish continuation.

someone would hav expect me to SELL to that levels i wanted to buy from. it not always like that. price might continues moving higher. better to miss trade than being too smart for the mkt

few hours of trading 100pips is bank already as shown chart below

yet i still respect the mkt, someone could have use bigger lots at that levels thinking system is invisible

improvement seen on the WAPCO numbers but not as expected, larger part of d earnings comes from proceed from discontinued operation

continue operation eps N1.28

discountined operation N7.46

wapco is selling slightly above it fairprice at the moment but i expect the price to move to N22 soon based on it latest healthy balance sheet.

fairprice base on cash valuation is above N20

cash is oxygen. those who knows dont joke with such company. it a plus for wapco right now

But ur FVE for both coys says it all !! wink cheesy grin
U can relate that to the part in bold from my revert above.
That said, I still see a higher headroom for VALUE in ACCESS than UBA going into YE.

We will see how things will eventually pan out.

Cheers.
with access merger as bigger bank. buying UBA at curent mkt price of 5.85 will still give more % gain than Access at 7.3 should both move to their respective fp

UBA roe, bv, peg , solvency ratio among others even better than that of ACcess

in my own opinion UBA is still hav d better numbers base on Q3

UBA FP 22.5
Access fp 24.9

let wait for their final Audit report

fingers crossed

yes brov

my opinion is not solely based on eps and pe as u always mention. thatz not so. i can tell u before i arrive at my FP or rate any compay i use more than 15 KEY fundamental variants to form my opinion plus seeking opinion from d bosses but not that good in expressing d opinion with a long post shagrin

grin grin grin

I understand ur concern, but don't use only that to adjudge matters.
Like I've said in times past, its ALWAYS best to use a combination of several KEY fundamental variants to better guage VALUE !!
When u do that, u'll see that ACCESS rates slightly better than UBA.
There is a reason why the former has a better ACCRUALS RATIO than the latter.

Both coys are a strong BUY though.
not using only eps to form my opinion bro. but O/S included in all my analysis in arriving at my opinion so wrong O/S will not do good to my analysis

the reason i use to rank UBA above ACcess was d above concern.

eps reported after merger use to be over stated though they might say it cos of treasury share bla bla but why using the whole 35b as equity capital

grin grin grin grin
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by currentprice: 12:39pm On Oct 26, 2019
onegentleguy:
It should be the one in bold my dear.
I think the mix up may likely be the result of the recent merger with DIAMOND bank and the 2 for 7 script distribution that came with it.
To be on the safer side, I'll advise u work with the figure in bold, until there's more clarity. I also did the same.

Cheers.
35,545,226 is what i have been using. according to their report released it was 35,545,226 also

but 2.79 EPS was reported. they use 32,21,0461 as O/S which make the eps look higher against 2.52 if they use the 35b
