For a start, You could have put in just 20% of the funds to be invested, and do what Pa Emma refers to as cost averaging, but you figured "the more, the merrier". As it turned out your entry point marked the market's crest. At some point during the pull back, you decided to average down with whatever funds you had left, but even the support you were counting on got broken.
