When IBB, got "tired", he "stepped aside for Shonekan's interim government. Abacha ( another UNEDUCATED PAUPER), woke up one day and kicked Shonekan out and declare himself the president of Nigeria, just like Buhari and IBB, did. There's no time and space to narrate what Abacha's govt was like, but, if you didn't leave thru it, ask an older family/friend, you'll understand better and you won't accuse me of exaggerating stuffs.

While Abacha, his kids, friends and foes were busy running Nigeria, as if it's their father's estate, Buhari and all the Northern leaders didn't CONDEMN or SEE anything wrong in Abacha's criminal behaviors, looting of treasury, detention and assassination of politicians, activist, and journalist. Fast Forward, Abiola, died in jail, lost all his wealth to the CRIMINALITY of his Northern Muslim friends power game/greed.

Fortunately, Abacha, died too, after making his kids and grand kids BILLIONAIRES, just like Danjuma, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija and other oil rouges. Abduslami ( Northern Muslim General), came on board, conducted election and handed over to Obj. Fast Forward, Jonathan, and Ijaw minority, became the president.

Interestingly, the Northern muslim Generals got carried away with power. Short sightedness beclouded them, they didn't EMPOWER their people. The Northern muslim generals, had no regards for OTHER TRIBES IN NIGERIA. Marginalization of other tribes was the NORM. Any federal government office HQ or military formation/barracks MUST be located in the North of Nigeria.
