Politics / Re: Wage Award, 40% Salary Increase:  FG Dashes Hope Of Workers, Can’t Pay MDAs by cutechioma1: 7:53am On Nov 02, 2023
They are right in judging the govt. The right up says that govt could not pay non-treasury MDAs. Im sure you belong to the teeasury funded (IPPIS), that is why you were paid.

This story is just so shocking as it is entirely false. Unfortunately, those commenting don’t even know what they commenting about. I used my own to buy petrol yesterday and someone somewhere wrote a silky report that FG has dashed the hope of workers by not paying. Money wey we don collect clean mouth.

They just gave a colleague on locum, permanent job appointment letter. Is he qualified to IPPIS verification. He is confused as to where to start and nobody is giving him info.

Let's wait & see what will happen before Friday. Lot of people are facing one issue or the other. There are even some in which it's telling them IPPIS number does not exist. I believe they too would be aware of all these glitches.

Politics / Re: Donald Trump Supports Nigeria's Twitter Ban, Says He should Have Done The Same by cutechioma1: 7:59am On Jun 09, 2021
I don't think most people understand where Trump is coming from. He's supporting Nigeria not because Twitter needs to be named but that Twitter has censorship that prevents people from voicing their opinions regardless of who it is hurting. Some people that supports this ban should know that Trump is not on their side. He just wants social media platforms to allow people express themselves and I'm sure that is not what the Nigerian govt wants. They just want to gag our voices while theirs are the only ones speaking.

Health / Re: Medical Tourism: Senate Moves To Block Revenue Leakages, Exodus Of Doctors, ... by cutechioma1: 8:07pm On Feb 20, 2021
Senate is talking like its just doctors that are fleeing this country. Most youth and adult are looking for a way to leave this country irrespective of their profession. Its not about increasing the pay of doctors as it will not solve the economic challenges we have in the country. The reason it seems like those in abroad earn is just the value of their currency. If $1 is equivalent to #1, most people will not be complaining. What they are even paying doctors over there is not even that wonderful just that when we convert it to our naira it would seem much. The Senate should come up with ways to make our economy good and provide social amenities.

Nicklaus619:
So Rwanda has got storage facility to make the vaccine potent and avoid wastage and Nigeria don't?

Ayam.not understanding, either way I ant still taking the vaccine should it have been brought here though
Yes Rwanda could achieve it because they have constant supply of electricity. Here we can't maintain such temperature 24/7. In my facility, our -80 freezer has never achieved -80 even with standby generator because it constantly drops. So its better we go for the Chinese vaccine that can be maintained at room temperature to avoid wastage until the govt does the right thing.
