My story so far;
I did all the necessary tests. On cycle day 2 I did blood work.everything came out ok. On cycle day 3 I did ultrasound scan.

They checked uterus and ovaries and everything looked fine. No cysts no fibroid. The RE(reproductive endocrinologist) was happy.

Bear in mind that I did HSG last October( we started trying in October).

The doctor said everything looks normal and I should have no issues concieving. She also explained to us that every healthy couple has a 20 percent chance every cycle.

She said if we want things to be faster, we can do a natural iui. So now I'm scheduled for a natural Around cycle day 14. They will do a follicle dtracking. I have to go everyday to the doctor from cycle day 12. Once they see the are mature follicles they will give me a trigger shot and I'll do the iui next day.

Husband sperm also came out very good. The frustration with this thing is that you cannot control anything.

Please has anyone done iui before?

Adolite, I was also n lagos yesterday! What time was your interview? Because when I was dere, I didn't see anyone in counter 7. It was empty. But if its dat black woman with braids dat did biometric, she was nice so I don't know why she denied you. You guys shuld stop sayin dis people don't knw what u wanna study. Just have the right answers. B4 u go there, the intrviewer has probably googled your proram and has certain words she has seen pop up in the results she wants to hear from you. I am nt a computer person, but I believe programming languages are all this http, html etc. Dats how one canme to the embasy yesterday and said microsof word and excel as programming languages, U need to go and prepare.

Adolite, my advise to you is to end this fall application. Return ur i20 to your school and apply for the spirng session. Once you av been rejected a student visa you cannot get an emergency appointment approval.if u were rejected around june, I can say u may see a date but this period is really tight. Sorry about your approval. Go and get ready for the spring and prepare your self better. God will see you thrui

My passport is not fresh(ideally most people r fresh coz of ecowas) but I attached my former passport to it. Which had a shenghen and UK visa dat were valid. But I haven't been to the Us b4. Its nt a neccesity to have travel experience. But it may sort out the issue of family ties since u have traveled many times and returned. Please, d most vital thing is to sound like an academic. No matter how mean a VO is when dey realise that you actually have sense and know what you are doing, a bank statement may not even hinder you. Also the importance of prayer cannot be over emphasized. I also patiently explained d nature of my program to her. Its not very wise to define or blow grammer. The guy b4 me they asked him what is marketing, he started givin text book defination.

My experience,
I got there around 8 30. They asked for sevis, appoinemtn gtb reciept etc. I got in at 11 did biometric etc. Ther guy before me was denied. And d babe in cubicle one denied almost all d people dat went b4 her except some old women goin for medicals. I was now prayin dey should not call me to counter 1 coz that was her counter. B4 I knew it, dey jumped d number b4 mine and asked me to go to counter 1. She asked me what I wanted to study,- I told her, what I do, I told her, d modules ill be taking, I told her. She looked at my bank statement. And she said, ill isue u a visa, pick it up at billingsway, gave me a green small card that they wrote visa pick up on. I asked for my i20 she said it will be inside mypassport wen I pick it up. Yes. Ayanfe got her visa before me. Many students were denied in Lagos oh. But me and like 4 other people were granted that I know of. The info on dis thread helped. But trust me, it is ur utternace dat will give u visa. Dat bank statement done mean anything. You have to be polite, confident and well grounded in education. Travel history also helps but like 3 fresh passports got their F11. You guys, thank God for me. I am now looking for flight. No more sevis, i20, fedes, statement, etc. I thank God.

Guys, I meant 10am interviews. Sorry am too excited and am shaking. I think they are more concernedabout your academic capability dan all dat bank statement thing. One babe dat sat next to me said she had a statement from her dads private coy of like 280 million. She didn't get it.

I got my visa today ooo. Big birthday present for me. I saw ayanfe 22. Dat girl is too brilliant please. If you see how the VO was looking at the girl. She was d start of 10am exams!!!

Can u imagine, a friend was rejected today at abuja becos the consular asked if she was single, she said yes and he gave her the 214b reason,
