Assumption- Let's just say i travelled to Canada via the MPNP-Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program through my uncle's (over there) assistance and i was single then when moving but my fiancee was having my baby in her womb unknown to my uncle(i wouldn't want him to know anyway cuz he'll think im unserious and may stop helping). Though we only did our introduction ceremony before i left for canada and after 2 years there; i came back home(Nigeria) to do the wedding proper and intend to go with my (now-legal)wife and son to canada. Your enquiry is a bit ambigous. What right does your uncle has to think you are unserious because your wife got pregnant for you? Adding them both to your application shouldn't be a big deal M8.

My score was around 400 until i added my spouse after I got married and I end up losing 30 points. I also lost another 5 points on my last birthday. I know all cic wants is for my wife to also do language test and credential assessement in order to regain the 30 marks I lost. We cant just be gambling with our hard earned money. They need to be reasonable and implement the news on time before our IELTS validity start expiring.

The hurdle of increasing CRS score has not been easy. I have some couple of Cisco certifications. Is it possible to use CCNA or CCNP as a diploma? Even if I have CLB band 9 in my IELTS, my CRS will still be below 450

Thanks Zandora. I won't give up I have two quick questions and I will be glad if you can answer them. I am strategising of ways to rake up more scores without breaking the bank but all the means will cost me fire. Lol

Quick rewind to 2008, I served in a bank for a year but I did not include that in my EE profile because I thought NYSC might not be considered as a full-time job. Can I include that in my Application? Since I am based in Europe, I only included my 2 years European working experience. How much additional score can I have if my work experience changes from 2 to 3 years?

Furthermore, my current work experience falls under NOC 2281 but if It's possible to add my NYSC which was done in a bank, then it will fall under a completely different NOC (I was a customer service officer). Does that matter? Thanks in advance.

I was single when I created my EE profile and I managed to rake up a little above 400 points, a score that never increase lol. Along the line, I got married and I added my spouse to my application today. Surprisingly, I watched my score shrink to a little above 370!! WTF? I guess it's because they want to force her to do both credential assessment and language test, then my score will shoot up again. I think I will visit Canada to look for job when I am really ready for this EE thingy.

I am wondering if anyone here has managed to get a job through job bank? If you did, kindly share your experience. I think it is better to strategies on getting a job in Canada rather than expending all the energy on re-writing IELTS which already meets the basic requirement for express entry pool. Unless you already have a point close to 450, rewriting the IELTS 10 times might still not make you you score above 450. History already shows that you won't get ITA if your score is not up to 450 and above.

My wife was also in this same situation. Yes, you can opt for the 64 pages (nothing like 65). If you read my post, you will see that we opted for the 64 pages but they found it difficult to do due to some technical problems. They were able to resolve the problem later and it was possible to print the 64 pages. However, we paid extra for the 64 pages and the passport came out yesterday.

What you need to do is to contact your agent and tell him or her that you want them to issue a 64 page instead. The agent will tell you how much you will pay extra. I won't advice you to continue waiting for the 32 page leaflet, unless you don't need your passport urgently. That is my 2 cent. All the best.

I recently got married and we are in the process of doing a name change on my wife's international passport in order to process her residence permit asap. For the past one month, we have been waiting for the passport to get printed but we are being told that the 32 page passport leaflet is not available because the president has not signed it's release. Meanwhile, I told them to print her new passport on 64 page leaflet instead but they said its not possible because her previous passport has been encrypted to the 32 page leaflet, and the only option is to wait until the 32 page leaflet has been approved by the president. Like seriously? How long do we have to wait before the president approves the new leaflets? Is it only us or are there other people experiencing the same problem? What can we do in this situation? Your advices and suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks all.
