I opened the topic and just didn't know when to start after reading all stories. Lost mum in May, while mourning hubby got a sack letter this was after i left my teaching job due to distance from my new apartment to school. I wake up every morning and just wish I had stayed asleep because nothing seems to be working.

Tried getting another teaching job in the new area but nothing so far. It hasn't been easy at all. I smile each as if everything is alright, hoping tomorrow will be better but deep inside i am broken. Hubby rarely talks or smile. Just goes out to hussle comes back and pretend to be sleeping meanwhile he is silently crying.

This happened in okon clan eket,akwa ibom state,and by the grace of God I am the President general igbo community here in eket.
I was invited by the police DPO to come see him as he said he is an igbo man.

Firstly he is not from abia state,he is from ohaozara in ebonyi state.

Secondly he is a self acclaimed pastor with no congregation,what he does is visiting markets where igbos trade to preach and afterwards collect offering.

They've been married for 20years blessed with 5kids,the first is 17years and the last 8years.

According to him when I was asking him questions in the presence of the DPO and some other igbo men and officers,he seems to have accepted his fate.

He confessed to the crime and when I asked why and how he killed his own wife.

He said the woman left him some years back after when he was involved in a fire accident that got him burnt severely only to come back early January this year,upon getting back she met another woman living with him with the kids and started making troubles,he said her troubles were much that the other woman had to report to the police station where she was advised to leave,and the woman eventually left the house.

He said when the woman left,his wife now deceased started making troubles again with him,he said no day passes bye without a trouble,he said the wife has alot of boyfriend's,he said she is HIV+ and has possibly infected him,

On why he killed his wife,he said about two weeks ago the wife came home around 11pm and he refused to open the gateand ordered their kids not to open the gate as well,only for the wife to brake down the gate though the gate was already weak and in a bad shape,so she came in and he didn't talk to her,by morning when the kids had gone to school,he now confronted her and mistakenly gave her a blow and she slumped and died.

At this point I was infuriated and told him he was lying.i had to put it to him that he waited till morning so he can kill her when no one was around.

Well what I gathered also from my discussion with him and the police investigating the matter,is that he killed her,dug a shallow grave and buried her in the same compound where he leaves with his kids,
The kids kept asking him the whereabout of their mum he told them she must gone out with another man as usual,the son saw shovel and noticed some smells and his father's attitude since the day they started looking for their mother and decided to talk to some youths in the community,while he was away they came in and perceived same smell searched through the compound and noticed the shallow grave,they went back and mobilized more youths when he was back and confronted the man who later agreed he had killed her and showed them where he had buried her,that was how the police were invited

The man is devilish and to me me he doesn't even appear remorseful.i asked him about the fate of his kids now that he has killed their mom and him going to prison he softly replied me that it's their fate and their destiny,very useless man.

I remember when I was walking pass a fence, guys where whistling calling me u refused to turn, all of sudden a big lizard fell on my head. As I was screaming and running the lizard was clinging tightly to my hair. Till date i hate lizards with great passion

I moved to my place newly and don't really know the area much. Suggestions on where I can get a good specialist hospital around ikotun /surulere will be very helpful because that's the only areas I am familiar with at the moment. All the insults are not necessary please

I have been having problems with my ear for a while now. I have tried cerumol but there was no relief. I don't feel any pain just the fact that my ear is feeling "cloudy" and I find it difficult to hear. What can I do. I have been to the hospital no relief. Doctors in the house please help me

Thank God they were rescued. I can't begin to imagine what would have happened to them if there weren't rescued

but I just have something to say...



I have been following closely the rate at which people keep springing up each day to advice people to stay of MMM.

when MMM started getting popular early last year, there were many prophecies, MMM won't last a year, it can't sustain the cash distribution etc.. when it froze accounts last Dec, y'all were "like shebi we warned you"

Now MMM has unfrozen accounts and you lots still won't hold your peace.



It's the panic and sceptism you guys are creating that'll crash the system rather.


My simple question for you is, don't you think if you channel the energy and drive you use to criticize MMM to criticize the government, we'd be better off??

We're used to folding our hands and watching the government (which is a greater PONZI SCHEME) milk us and cheat us.. That's why Amaechi could say "we steal because you don't stone us"

Leave MMM alone, if it crashes, you don't lose. I can bet that if it crashes only few will lose more than their initial investment as many have gained wayyy more than their actual investment
