The 2027 election will be won by the candidate with the most momentum. Once campaign starts, it will become obvious to the APC that they lack momentum. All the governors that attended the show of shame in Osun left with one key lesson. They have simply realised that Tinubu will be depending on them more than they will be depending on him. They have seen the extent of federal might and its limitations. No state will get even half of the mobilisation of security personnel and funds that were sent to Osun, which still proved inadequate to turn the tide.
