As INEC has given access codes to NDC to begin uploading their candidates for the 2027 general elections pending determination of a suit at the FHC between PMP vs NDC/INEC, a curious observation is the party's National Assembly slots for Lagos state, which is predominantly held by Igbos of south east Nigeria. State governments will handle recruitment of police officers so no cause for alarm. He who pays the piper dictates the tune. All we are after is an efficient police that are familiar with the environment and can easily identify and interrogate strangers who enter a locality to commit crimes before they happen. While on appeal, INEC reserves the right to remove the NDC particulars from its website as the new judgement aligns with its stand that NDC never met requirements for registration. It was the court that arm twisted INEC to accept NDC but that same court has now corrected itself. So unless the NDC can get a stay of execution at the appeal court, INEC should quickly delist that hopeless party from its setup. 29 Likes 4 Shares |

In reaching its decision, the federal high court agreed with the Peace Movement Party that NDC copied its logo that it had already submitted to INEC. The court thereby set aside its previous order.
