Take PSG as a case study, they’ve been breaking banks for single plays like Neymar and the rest but was not able to achieve their key objective which is winning UCL. But immediately those high players left and they focused on recruiting low profile, highly skilled players with low cost, the rest is history. Players like Kvarskhelia, Vitinha, Diaz, Neves, D.
