Tinubu I know cannot loose both at the same time..I mean VP and SW. Since VP has been lost, he will fight to secure his control of the SW political structure because the way things happened, Buhari and his new political team will hijack SW structure from him with federal power..That's if they win the presidential election thus as the saying goes, a bird in hand is worth thousands in the bush..

Lets keep observing...But I wish it can reduce to maybe $10pb..

Please stop misinforming some people who may look up to you for information. The President can assign any minister any responsibility including as you say presidential functions. Section 148 (1) of the 1999 constitution is very clear on that. read it and cure yourself of the disease of ignorance.

I think the argument had always been about 2 refineries, warri and Kaduna.

In my opinion, he was massively involved in both refineries and he actually started the Kaduna refinery and finished the warri refinery. He also was instrumental in the birth/transformation of the NNPC.

You may not like the dude but his achievements (over exaggerated at times) speaks for him.

Section 137 (1)b clearly stated that one is disqualified to contest for office of the president if he has been elected to such office at any two previous elections..So I don't see any reason to panic because GEJ has not been elected in any two previous election..

And they will still occupy the same office after graduation..that's why Nigeria is like this

What I think will save us now most is a restructuring of the National Assembly to make it a one house assembly. We need to cut cost amid our economic dificulties.

Yes you have a point there and also the salary and allowance of the executive and legislators will be in the constitution and it will be reduced to the barest minimum..If we make government unattractive, then we will have honest and sincere people going there..

Well you will need the constitution to be amended to enable that. Our present constitution is a federal one which allows the president to be both president/head of state and prime minister/head of govt.
I'm sure even Buhari doesn't even know that.

In as much as I support GEJ, I will like it if we can have both GEJ and Buhari at the same time..that is president and prime minister..I think it will be good..

I haven't really heard of that name in the political sphere before. APC needs some one with a strong political goodwill and a bright chance of wining an election if asked to contest. Not just anybody. Sambo is a strong politician on his own that as a strong political structure in the North. GEJ was a Politician to recon with when he was made the running mate to Yar Adua. Likewise, Atiku to Obasanjo.

If Buhari had a strong politician as his running mate in 2011, he would have gotten more than 12 million Votes. But no one knew Bakare then. The same goes for Ribadu, no one new Fola Adeola then.

How many people knows Prof Osibanjo. Is he coming with any political goodwill?. Can he win an election or pull reasonable votes if asked to contest alone?.

APC cant afford to get it wrong.Choose someone the people already know!
